Review Draft Oh my god, you guys!!! this is my discovery of the year! I just came across the most beautiful floral shop tucked inside Adriatica Village in McKinney, Texas. If you haven't heard of it, you're missing out, it's a hidden gem, like a little corner of European beauty in North Texas. The studio feels like something out of a movie scene. Walking in is an experience you honestly have to feel for yourself -- I was just running an errand nearby and was completely taken away by the beauty. The refrigerator of flowers looked like art, and the whole space radiated charm and care. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Amparo, who has been in this space for nearly 20 years. She is the loveliest soul, and you can truly feel the love she pours into every arrangement. She made a flower arrangement for my daughter, and it was done with such heart. This place isn't just about flowers... it's about self-love and creating little moments of beauty in your day. I have to say I was very impressed not only with the beauty of the studio and the care that was put into the bouquet I needed for a very special person/occasion, but the price was really fair. I was impressed with the quality of the flowers (they were so unique and exotic) and the lovely woman who made my bouquet was so personable and talented. I highly recommend getting flowers from them and not just for a special occasion - but just to treat yourself. I've done that and having flowers in my house and bedroom is simply delightful!!! read more

Worst floral arrangement I have ever received. My sweet husband was mortified when the flowers he ordered arrived on Valentine's Day. He gave them a generous budget and they were incredibly sloppy and died 2 days later. He also ordered a small vase of flowers for our 3 year old daughter and all of the flowers were cut so short it spilled when you picked up the vase. We mentioned this to the driver when it spilled on us the first time and he said sorry and left. Avoid this florist for your next special event! Purchased a $150 (upgraded to Premium) on the Midnight Summer arrangement for a friends funeral. When we got to the Funeral, home, we were very dissatisfied with the quality of the flowers, especially since it was upgraded to the premium package. I won't be using this place again in the future. There's nothing worse than bad product AND bad customer service. My sister got married in April and trusted this company to help make her day special. Promises were broken, such as specific flowers being left out of table arrangements, and the incorrect (edible vs inedible) flowers on her cake. Our bouquets were already starting to wilt and brown before the wedding began...not a good look for the professional photos! What makes all this so bad is the lack of responsibility and ownership of their inability to follow through with promises and requests. They failed to express any sort of apology for the bad quality of the flowers, and the incorrect arrangements. These people solely cared about the money, and were defensive and even accusatory when the situation was addressed. If you want bad customer service, missed requests, and poor quality flowers, choose them. read more

I had a terrible experience with this florist! I used their services for my wedding in 2019. After several conversations with Carol about the floral arrangements, we put together a very detailed contract listing exactly what we agreed. It was even down to the amount of roses and sizes of the bouquets. On my wedding day my bouquet, although beautifully arranged, was starting to wilt and turn brown. All of the corsages were starting to wilt and turn brown as well. At the reception the flowers were not as we discussed. For example, I was missing most of the long stem green roses in vases as table arrangements and the flowers on my cake were not the edible flowers I had requested. In fact the flowers they used were not edible. I attempted to address the situation but there was very little consideration or care about their lack in quality and follow through. At this point, they had their money. Carol was rude, talked too much and seemed incapable of listening to my concerns. While Amparo was cold and accusatory. It would have been great to have at least been treated with respect as a customer. With so many amazing florists in Dallas, choose someone with great customer service, values your business and who won't short change you. I do NOT recommend this florist for anything. Very disappointed with this florist.. So my father in law recently passed so we wanted to get him a funeral wreath with his picture in the middle. We came the day prior to when we needed the wreath and the florist informed us it can be done. (She did a great job with the arrangement and putting flowers around the canvas we provided her but the customer service could use some work.) She informed us that she would close at 1PM so she demanded us to pick up our arrangement by 1PM. My sister in law came there at 12:30PM to pick up the flowers but she didn't even start on the wreath. The florist then tried telling my sister in law that she thought we discussed picking it up by 3PM, which did not make sense because she told us she closes at 1PM. It is such an inconvenience to keep driving back and forth when we have to prepare the funeral site (which was an hour and a half away from the flower shop). Just wish she kept her word when she said the arrangement would be done by 1PM or at least call us to inform us that she was running behind, so we could make the necessary arrangements. read more

Ordered the Premium Upgrade Rose arrangement thru fromyouflowers.com. They contracted Fleurs & Events to arrange and deliver the Roses to my wife for our 23rd anniversary/Valentines day. The arrangement was delivered in a timely manor , 1-2 pm. My wife was surprised by the flowers however, when she arrived home with them from her office in Plano, Tx, I noticed that the roses were wilting and not as pictured on the website. To pay an upgrade of an extra $60 for a dozen roses that were wilting, external blackening petals and some even yellowed was disappointing to me. I reached out to the original company I purchased the flowers from first. They sent off an email to the contracted company Fleurs & Events. The owner of F & E then called back to my wife's phone even though I was the one that was obviously disappointed with the outcome. I returned the call to F&E. The owner listened to my concerns and then stated that she would send someone to pic up the arrangement and once at her shop she would evaluate for a refund. She then went on to state that she knew exactly which arrangement it was that I had due to the Red Vase that she had to purchase special to match the original website picture I had purchased them from. She said that she was upset that I would tell her that the roses were wilted and black. She was offended. I asked her why I paid an upgrade and still only received a thinned out dozen of roses with what appears to me to be spray painted pink twigs sticking out of it. She said the website that I bought them from only paid her $65 for the flowers that she sells for $95. I paid $120 by the way. I then suggested that she not be a contractor for fromyouflowers.com if she apparently is substituting her quality for the price that they are paying since the customer is expecting a special delivery and paying premium for the service. She still expressed to me that SHE was so upset. She insisted in coming after the flowers. I explained that the flowers were now 68 miles from her shop and would be extremely out of her way to send someone after the flowers and then leave my wife with nothing after it was all said and done. She then said she didn't care, if I wanted a refund, she was going to come get the flowers and then decide if I was to get one. I told her I was going to keep the arrangement to avoid the insanity of her driving an hour and a half to pick up the flowers and that I originally wanted another arrangement sent out to my wife next week that may not be wilting and an upgrade that I paid for, not a refund. It was never about the money but yet the quality. At this point it is now about the service I received from someone that I didn't choose in the first place. A contractor of the original website that I purchased from. They are now getting a negative review based upon the methods in which she chose to handle a situation that arise in every day business. Their resolution was not to resolve but to call and pick up and possibly refund all the while taking back the gift that I gave without replacement. Would it really be about the money to you? That is spoiling a special moment. My wife did not complain, I was the one that was disappointed. I cannot speak for the other contracted florist that fromyouflowers.com utilize but in this case, Fleurs & Events did not impress and I will not recommend for your special moments. I recommended this florist to a friend as my family has used them over the years and we like to support shop local. The delivery was charged the day it was ordered on Dec 18 and it never was delivered on the requested delivery of Dec 21. They were closed from Dec 22 until Jan 7 so the Christmas arrangement she had hoped to have us enjoy couldn't be addressed until after multiple messages calling them. I spoke with them live on Jan 8 with another attempt of me calling them. Not apologetic in the least. Will not be recommending them in the future. I don't usually write reviews but I don't want anyone else to be disappointed in their lack of customer service and empathy for my friend that was trying to do a kind surprise for my family while she herself is battling cancer. If this is how they treat customers when something goes wrong they won't continue to make it. read more

Walked it to check out for future events and house needs, and received a bit of a cold welcome. Tiny shop that is cute I'll admit. I really , really wanted to love the place. Maybe they are newly opened and just don't have it completely together yet. Woman was working on flowers for a funeral which I briefly commented with what I hoped was grace...saying that's always a difficult occasion. She blew it off, saying "it is what it is", which just some across a bit brash...maybe I'm being oversensitive..but as a service provider is expect a bit more grace. read more

My husband passed away a month ago and this past Saturday was my mother-in-laws birthday. I picked out a beautiful bright rose arrangement to send to her in McKinney, since we are in The Woodlands, Tx 250 miles away. The flowers she received look as if arranged by an elementary school aged student with zero flower arrangement experience. Needless to say, NOT a professional arrangement at all. She substituted some of the roses for orchids, and the roses which were included were muted colors - Green and Grey in color! Yes, there were a few pink roses, but not many. The ivy was wild and strung across the arrangement very willy-nilly covering the flowers. The scale was off, the color was off, the size of the flowers in comparison to the size of the overall arrangement was off, the ivy was out of control and who in their right mind would substitute ORCHIDS for roses??? Not the least bit professional and certainly not worth the $137 paid. I called the florist and she wanted to go pick up the arrangement and see for herself, although she assured me that she too took pictures and it "looked beautiful to me", she said. I told her to forget it. After all my mother-in-law has been through in the past month with losing her only son, there is no way I'm going to send this 'florist' back to harrass her. I cannot recommend this florist to anyone. ESPECIALLY if you're in need of roses. read more

They filled an order from Teleflora and delivered to the apartment office instead of the apartment that was filled out on the form to be delivered too and basically told me too bad. I have worked with Amparo in the past and she has been awesome. This summer she did my daughter's wedding. From the Rehearsal dinner to transforming the wedding venue, she did an amazing job. I received many compliments about the flowers including one from my florist Canadian friend who is quite particular.
