I called and had a delightful, serendipitous phone encounter with Kris when I called to order flowers for my sister. We ended up chatting for five minutes and I feel like I made a new friend who will add loving care to an important delivery. I also learned that Fleurish has an art gallery in back and I absolutely cannot wait for covid quarantine to be over so I can head home and visit family and make a trip with my sister into Fleurish and meet Kris. Cheap-looking material for packaging and TERRIBLE customer service. I ordered two bouquets. But one of them had a messy ribbon, so I asked them to cut the messy part. And the lady said they can't. The only thing I asked was just trimming the splitting ribbon. But they said they cannot do any more work to it. The wrapping paper was already cheap-looking; not vintage or natural. This is the only place that you would actually expect decent flowers in this town but just be aware that this place is taking advantage of that. read more

I came here for the first time when ordering my wedding bouquet and a boutonnière for my husband. The owner was not there and I was instructed to contact her via email. She was incredible attentive, responsive, and thorough in our email exchange in which I sent her photos of bouquets/bouts I liked and she was immediately able to see my vision! In my opinion, this is the best place around to order formal arrangements and bouquets. The prices are very reasonable given the complexity of the arrangements. My mother came in here to buy me flowers for my graduation party. She left feeling like she had been "pretty woman-ed". Specially she wanted peonies, my favorite flower, and the woman told her they did not have any. Peonies are in season so she surprised. She walked around to look at other arrangements and picked one out. She asked the woman about the arrangement and she told her "she wouldn't have it next week" and that "they did not have anything for her". My mother walked away feeling shocked and embarrassed because of the tone and rudeness of this employee. Awful. To hear this story on mothers day weekend made it all the worse. We just returned to CA after a destination wedding in Champaign. I was really concerned about planning from such a distance . After first meeting with Sarah in October, we knew that we had found an artist. The arrangements and bouquets went way beyond our expectations. Okay, I admit, I'd used Fleurish twice before and wasn't all that keen about the freshness of the flowers. But when I received the most beautiful bouquet of my life in April 2012, I'm a believer. I don't know what happened to Fleurish, but it is all good. The flowers honestly looked like they were from New York. I saw flowers in that bouquet that I couldn't even identify they were so exotic. Counted at least 10 different varieties of berries, branches with little green buds on them, roses, lilies, all against a backdrop of pale pink and lime. Sad day when I had to say good-bye to them. Its taken me a while to write this review, but I passed by Fleurish the other day and I was reminded that I never thanked Sarah for the awesome job she did on my wedding flowers. I didn't really know what I wanted when I went in there and I just kind of described colors and themes and she totally got where I was going. The flowers were a surprise, since I didn't really know what she came up with.... let me tell you, they bouquets were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. About half the time I attempt to stop by Fleurish the place is closed, today I tried to stop by and buy some spontaneous flowers for no occasion and the store was closed during clearly marked business hours. When I do happen to catch the place while it open the woman working seems annoyed to have to help me even when I am the only customer. The flowers are usually good quality but it's just not worth the hassle. Fleurish you have lost a customer, I won't be back. read more

Last week, I was rushing to get to a wedding for one of my best friend's. I stopped here due to the fact that it was 4:15p, the wedding was at 5:30p, and there were orange calyx lilies in the window that took my breath away! I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the FOUL, lackluster service that I received and will never return there again. The chain of events was as follows: 1. I entered the shop and was immediately told that they were, "getting ready to close the shop". The sign on the door listed closing hours of 5:00p and it was 4:15p. 2. After being told of their closing time, again, I informed the employee that I wanted to purchase a small, tasteful bouquet for a friend that was getting married in about an hour. The clerk told me that she wasn't sure that they could do this for me because, AGAIN, they were getting ready to close the shop, and was going to check with the owner. 3. The clerk goes back and checks with the owner, who comes out from the back of the shop and asks me, with a pretty nasty disposition, "what is it that you're looking for?" I explained the same thing to the owner as I did to the clerk, who also told me, A-G-A-I-N that they were getting ready to close the shop. Due to the fact that I didn't have enough time to go elsewhere where I knew I'd get treated MUCH better, I stayed. I chose some flowers and was stressed the price of for each one as if that were too much for me to pay for some flowers; they obviously don't know me. 4. While the flowers were being put together behind a huge wall, the owner then tells me that, ONCE AGAIN, they were closing early because I was only the 2nd person that came in this day. Maybe it's just me, but I would take business, ESPECIALLY someone such as myself that (1) frequents local businesses, (2) doesn't mind spending money on something that I deem to be QUALITY and (3) that has NO problem telling others about a business that treated me in a foul way. Thankfully, the bouquet was made, the bride liked it and all was well. I will admit that I like the arrangement. I will also admit that I didn't mind paying $32 and some change for a tiny floral arrangement. I will also admit that due to my first experience here since it is no longer Rick Orr, that I will NEVER spend a single, solitary penny in this establishment EVER again! OK - I started to write a review of my mother's day bouquet last week but deleted it. But now after finding out how much my child paid for the almost wilted when delivered mess, I am moved to warn others against making this mistake. The quality of flower selection (very short lived) and freshness (NOT) as well as design (the vase was much larger than the flower mass) is more than disappointing and not even close to the quality of Rick Orr (whose location it now occupies). I hate to have to tell my daughter she was ripped off, but I don't want her to waste any more money here. This is the second bouquet that has been disappointing -- at $75 plus! read more

I had heard that Fleurish did unique floral design, so I tried them for an arrangement for a foyer table for a party that I was hosting. The arrangement was definitely unique, stuffed with lots of flowers- some that I have never seen before. It was really beautiful. The only reason that I am not giving it 5 stars, is that it began to wilt shortly after our event was over. I was attentive in making sure that the water level was kept full, but perhaps some of the flowers could have been a little fresher. Overall, though, I was very happy with the arrangement and it was a hit with our guests as well. read more

I did not know Rick Orr had retired and when I went by, I saw the new name, "Fleurish" and thought I would give them a try. I was hoping they would have pictures of arrangements to choose from but they did not have any. She said she was an artist and that her designs would be original. This was a next day delivery and it was for a funeral. I wanted something bright and cheerful and not something depressing. I chose an arrangement for $50 and had to trust that she would give me what I wanted. When I saw the flowers, they were not what I was expecting. She said she was going to use certain flowers that we picked out together and they were not even the same color palette. She used orange and green and I wanted purple and pink. They were very modern and not what I was expecting. The flowers themselves were not ugly but it was not what we discussed. I will try them again but next time I am going to have to be more direct in what I want and maybe bring in a photo of what I am wanting. The delivery was on time. It is good to be an artist with your flowers but you also have to listen to what the customer wants. read more
