    Orchid cactus!

Had such a great experience going into the shop for the first time! I really appreciate the COVID protocol and the vibe!! Picked up a beautiful hoya and orchid cactus as well as some super cute and cool stickers by a local artist. This place is such a gem!!

The best plant store I have ever been to, and my favorite place in town. Matthis is, by far, the most friendly, welcoming shop-owner I have ever met. He will answer any question and give you tons of recommendations and tips. Almost all small plants are $6-9, extremely affordable, and it allows for you to grow the plant to be big and beautiful yourself. The store is beautiful, but the shop's website allows for online ordering & contact-less pickup, too! Please stop by if you are in the area.

Plant Mode is AMAZING! The selection of plants is great, and it's so easy to shop on the website and pick up curbside. Every plant I've gotten there has been healthy and full. Matthis is so helpful and enthusiastic, and he's being really diligent about following the guidance from Public Health about COVID safety, which I really appreciate. He looks after his customers, and that's something I'll always remember even when the COVID crisis has passed.

The only place I will ever buy plants in town! Located inside Furniture Lounge, Plant Mode is my happy place in downtown Champaign, filled with really affordable and high quality succulents, cacti, and other tropical plants. I would highly recommend following Plant Mode's Instagram, because the owner regularly posts what's available in the store.

The owner is very knowledgeable and has a great and versatile taste. You can tell by just browsing his shop. FYI, it is not a flower shop.

I should have listened to everyone telling me to avoid this place, but since I was new to the area…read moreI figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Wrong. I'm going to try to make a long story short, but what you should do is avoid this place. I went to purchase a tree and get it planted. I informed them I had an irrigation system and I was told they would Julie my property. They told me to put a white flag on the property and just make sure it was about 18" away from the Julie lines and I did. Needless to say, while digging my irrigation system was hit and caused damage. Who's to blame? Well obviously me because I didn't "get someone to come out and mark my sprinkler system"...well, I told you I had one didn't I? "Well how are we supposed to know, you were supposed to have that marked before we came"...ok, well how was I supposed to be aware of that?...I informed you I had a system, why didn't you inform me that I needed to have that done? I was also told that this has happened before with their company so I cant understand why they wouldn't inform future customers to have this done before they come. On top of that, the owner rudely let me know that he "ate the cost of an extra hour and half of labor" because his guy had to come back and finished planting the tree once the sprinkler people came to fix the problem. A 14 minute phone call led to nothing but the owner basically telling me "Well, it is what it is". My final question to him was, so you mean to tell me, I let you know I had a sprinkler system, you did nothing to inform me of how to prevent you from hitting it, you hit it, and it's my fault? and he pretty much said, "yeah".. I just moved to the area 7 months ago and I have had 5 people tell me not to do business there. I should have listened. Please Yelp users, LISTEN. UPDATE: The owner contacted me and after thinking about it over the weekend has decided to cut me a check for the installation of the tree. I thought it was a very kind gesture well deserved. They aren't so bad after all. Bumping up to 3 stars.

They couldn't tell a weed from a flower, which resulted in the death of some of our flowers. They cleaned the pond with a chemical that killed our fish (Clorox bleach). They replaced our water pump, but wouldn't provide us with the make/model or instruction manual of the expensive new water pump. In fact, they wouldn't answer or return my phone calls. On top of this all, they were very expensive. All in all, a very unprofessional experience that made me think they had no training. This company used to be good, so I'm sad and disappointed that their quality has fallen so far. Do your yard a favor and hire another company

I was very impressed with Greenview's with the beautiful landscaping they showed on their website…read more I called and asked if someone could come out and talk about incorporating a hot tub and/or spa into our yard in Champaign, IL,without distracting from it existing professionally landscaping. I spoke with Jason, he seemed nice, but to be honest the conversation was a bit awkward. I explained that I split my time between Chicago and Champaign. We made any appoint for today, June 30 between 11 and 11:30 am. I text Jason at 9 am to confirm our appointment. He text back I'm and said: "I don't think that I am your guy for this. We don't sell hot tubs nor do we install them. We don't even pout the footings they sit on. I apologize, but I'm not going to make it today. This doesn't sound like a project for us. Best of luck." I am not very pleased at all. First, we were not asking them about installing an hot tub or spa, but how to landscape one into our yard. We wanted their professional services to help landscape. Second, I wish Jason would have told me that Greenview was not interested in this job. And, third, I purposely stayed until Tuesday instead of going back to Chicago on Monday, to accommodate Jason's schedule (when I called him a week ago I originally asked if we could meet on Monday and he was not available.) As you can see from their website, their landscaping is beautiful and we were hoping to use their services for our backyard. Unfortunately, we were totally dismissed and our experience with their customer service is is very poor. I left a message with their office this morning and hope to receive a call back with at least an apology.
