I've been looking around for good massage places and trying out different spots to see which one I like best. I took my girlfriend and I to get a couples massage to treat her didn't have that great of an experience, took 15min for them to get us a room and another 5min for someone to come in, when a lady come in she asks which one was getting the massage... I was confused and my girlfriend said go ahead and start on him so she did and was weirded out cause nobody was massaging her for about 10min and I was wanting to say something but my girlfriend asked if she was doing both of us and she had replied that someone is coming soon, the massage was good as far as getting some knots out but then started to die down and she was lightly touching instead, I was trying to look at the positive and enjoy but there was too much talking by a group of people outside the room, and at that point I was trying really hard to enjoy. I have had massages all over the world, from Thailand to the Philippines to Bali and Indonesia and even in Kenya and Fiji and this was about the worst I have had. Tempted by the inexpensive $40 price, I thought I would try it. From the outside, it looked a bit run down and my opinion didn't change when I walked in. The man at the reception desk did not speak much English at all but he led me to a dank private room with a massage table covered by a clean sheet. A picture was hung up of a woman enjoying a massage next to scented candles and a beautiful background. This room smelled of what I think was paint and there was nothing inviting in it at all. He said to wait 3 minutes and my masseuse would be in. 15 minutes later she arrived. She spread a sheet over me and proceeded to walk on my back and legs. I have heard of this but this was a first and I didn't care for it. It was not at all relaxing. Then she began to massage my feet pressing so hard it became painful. After that, she began to use her hands over the sheet and not on my skin to massage my shoulders, back, butt and legs. Eventually she would massage with her hands directly on my skin but the oil she used had no scent and I am guessing it may have been cooking oil. She actually spent very little time on any one part and the massage was the first I have had that was not in any way relaxing. When she did do my legs, she thrust the sheet so far up my groin that it felt like I had a diaper on. It was supposed to be a full hour massage but since she walked in 15 minutes after the hour, walked out a few times to get a wet towel and finished at 2pm sharp, it means that I only got 45 minutes, at most, of a massage. Massages are supposed to be both sensual and relaxing and there was nothing of that this day. When she left the room, I got dressed and she greeted me with a very tiny cup of water, the kind the dentist gives you to spit out and held out her hand for a tip. She couldn't speak any English so when I asked her questions during the massage she would just say 'yes' even though a yes or no was not called for. But she knew how to say "TIP'. The name she used was 'Lola' though, being Chinese, I doubt if that was her real name. I would never go back there again. read more

I called in and requested a female and said I would be there in 20 min. I arrived in 20 min, when I walked in I said that I called in and requested a female! They still repeatedly tried to force a male on me after I said I called in for a female and he even came and sat behind me and tried to start rubbing me with lotion after I already said 3 times I requested a female! Then when the lady finally arrived I told her that I paid for a 60 min combination massage. She was very hard and aggressive without even asking how I would like to be massaged. Then she stopped the massage 8 min early! and said "I'm finished" I said "I looked at the clock when you started it was exactly 12:35 so the massage shouldn't be finished until 1:35" then I laid back down waiting for the rest of my additional 8 minutes. She then turned to me and said "Your time is up, I already have the money" I made the mistake of paying first, so since she already had my money, she figured I wouldn't mind that she was cheating and shorting me what I already paid for! I knew to check the time on my phone when she started because I've had this particular problem in the past with this place trying to end a 60 min massage in 50 min or less. I then told her she was not getting the tip I had in my pocket for her and she was very rude, then I walked out. This place owes me 20 bucks! They act like they don't understand simple requests like "female" or "Combination massage" every time you say combination massage for $20, they point to the $30 massage and say "This one" as if they don't understand simple things. read more

Was asked to pay for my massage before it began which I later found out is unusual. Massage felt good but when it was over my masseuse told me how much to tip them because they worked hard. They wanted a $20 tip for a $40 massage. I gave them $10 and they seemed angry. Also found out that my brothers masseuse was taking phone calls during his session which seems highly unprofessional. I'm not sure why there aren't people lining up outside the door to come here. I've been here twice and bought a massage for my Dad's birthday another time. Each experience was great. I get the foot massage (reflexology)/body massage combo. I've never had the full body massage in the private room. The foot/body massage combo is completed in a large room with multiple beds but it's divided by curtains for privacy. You don't remove your clothes for the combo massage so it doesn't bother me that it isn't in a private room. The first time I came here, there was a little bit of a language barrier, I asked for a "female therapist" they nodded okay and I waited a few minutes. I went to the table and a man came in to do the massage. I just went with it and was glad I did. He did a great job, I never felt uncomfortable. They do a great job here and the prices are very fair. It's not fancy or luxurious, you aren't going to get a 5 star resort feel here. But if you're the type who only cares about getting a good massage (in a clean facility) at a fair price, try them out. read more

My massage was good actually pretty good. However I was very disappointed on my way out. We were told to pay before we entered which was fine. We and upon leaving I tipped my massage professional $10.00 on a 40.00 massage. My nephew then came out and as he gave his massage professional the same tip, she replied really?! I asked to speak with the manager to let her know how disappointed I was with the employees response and she that tipping was totally up to us. I let her know that that level of customer service was terrible. Now the only reason I'm sharing this review is because I tried to go here last month for just a foot massage and the woman suggested the $40.00 body massage. Damn crooks!! Massage was what ever. I got charged $40 for one hour of massage. As a nice guy, I gave the lady $5 dollar tip. The lady refused my 5 dollar tip and demanded $10.00 instead. For a sec I was confused on what was going on, then she kept saying $10.00, cause you were strong and I'm tired now from giving you a massage. As the lady was saying the the guy behind the counter was laughing. I felt extremely ticked off the way they forced more tip out of me. I was shocked when she was saying that and i told the guy, i will never come here again. After I walked out, out of my frustration I went back inside and asked the guy behind the counter if he was the owner. This is the worst massage place I've ever been to, and I don't say that lightly. First, she asked my friend and I if we wanted a male or female. We are both girls, so we said female and then she replied with "male and female is all we have" so I took the guy because usually I like more pressure in my massage. It was the worst feeling ever- he just rubbed my shin bone with lotion and there was absolutely no technique or even sense of how to give a massage. When I asked for more pressure, the girl tipped the towel from my eyes and shoved a phone on full-brightness into my face and said "SPEAK" and I was all disoriented and thrown off! When he understood what I wanted, he straight up started grabbing my legs in a painful manner. There was no medium ground between barely fondling my shins to almost bruising me, and he was laughing when I flinched so I felt much that he was not taking it seriously at all. The reason I purchase this was due to the massage I received from Wendy. She is an awesome massage therapist. I went in to get a 1 1/2 hour full body massage for $60 which is a pretty good deal compared to some other places. But when there was still around 20 minutes left, she kept checking the clock over and over which i think is very impolite and rude to do. It makes it look like all they are there for is the money and don't enjoy there job. Before the time was up she asked me for a tip which is not right. So at first i gave her $10 and then she asked me for more money so i ending up giving her $20 more. And then she still asked for more money telling me i need to pay her $40 tip for a 1 1/2 massage. And then she told me that she is very tired and is the owner so im not sure if that was supposed to be threatening to me. And i told her wait i just gave you $30 tip which is 50% of the price. For a pretty bad massage. I don't recommend this place at all because all they are there for is the money. They say you can get a cheap price massage but almost threatening you to give more tips to them. first of all you are not required to give a tip especially if is not a very good massage. I will never go back to this place its a scam. Im going to make sure that everyone knows about this scam first of all you don't try to threatening someone to give more tips. read more

in response to the businesses response, my husband gave over a 40% tip based on your regular price even though he had a coupon to pay less. your independent contractor told him no to his more than generous tip and told him to pay more. this was after witnessing a different therapist the day before stand at the front door when a customer was trying to leave and put her on the spot for a tip, but im sure no one is aware this happening (right). I did not say I would come back. you said to come back in an hour (not 40 mins) after we had already waited 15 mins and I said no I wont be back. Yes we were walk ins and made to believe we could be fit in sooner than later. No problem to say you can't get coverage. The expected and nearly demanded tip is what immediately turned me off. Then to hear another therapist did it (over a $5 difference on an already huge gratuity) ...sad and upsetting. You can politely take advantage of people, but to the wise beware of a wolf in sheeps clothing. I will not support a business that seemly doesn't pay it's contractors or has practitioners who ask for and expect gratuities (right in front of anyone) then management/owner turning a deaf ear/blind eye saying they don't know it's happening right underneath their noses. read more
