Great staff, clean range and really good focus on safety education for first timers customers. Reasonable Ammo rates. In and out within a respectable amount of time. Unlike some other ranges in the area the staff members we dealt with were chill and very helpful, no egos whatsoever. I will make this a usual spot to shoot. read more

Fletcher Arms - My son firing a Sig Sauer P365 - Gun/Rifle Ranges Near Me - Waukesha, Wisconsin

I would not recommend doing any business with Fletcher Arms. They illegally scammed me and illegally misrepresented their monthly membership agreement and pricing at the counter. They also ignored and refused my cancellation notice, charging me hundreds of dollars for a single usage of their gun range lane. They disguise themselves as a 'Fitness Center' but have no fitness equipment nor meet the legal requirements of a fitness center. There are much better legal gun stores in the neighboring areas that are transparent and follow proper Wisconsin business laws. read more

visited to purchase 20ga shotgun shells. the 1st guy honestly did not have a clue if they had any or not. i assisted him with looking at a table for some. the guy handed me a small box of shells that were super tiny (not sure i think they were 7's). then he asked another guy who was super slow and stood there talking to his brother. his brother is the one who told me i could approach the counter for assistance and introduced himself as the employees brother who was just visiting. the guy behind the counter was slow and really RUDE. i wound up leaving. wont be returning EVER. read more

Excellent teachers and hands on training. I will continue to take classes and get the training!

Be aware that they will not transfer a rifle to you if they don't get an approval from the government. they didn't tell me this and when I tried to come in and get my rifle after waiting the legal amount of minimum time (10 business days) they said they couldn't transfer it basically because of "store policy". and if you try to get a refund they hit you with a 100$ deposit fee so be aware read more

At fletcher arms everyone is so helpfull even when you have no experience at all. You watch a safety video before entering and ear and eye protection is mandatory. You pay a lane fee and extra per gun you want to rent. Prices are fair and safety is important. They have a very large range of guns to choose from and they have a shop too. A fun extra: you can buy different kind of targets to practice on and take home as a nice souvenir. read more

Just completed Gun Safety 101 and Conceal Carry Certification. It was super informative, Megan & Team did very thorough job of explaining proper handgun handling and safety. Also the conceal carry portion was extremely informative, especially driving home the point the last thing you ever want to do is use a gun to stop someone unless you have no other option to avoid bodily harm to yourself and/or loved ones! Thanks Team Fletcher for a day we'll spent! read more

Fletcher arms is by far the best store in the area. Everyone that works there wants to work there. They are beyond respectful, knowledgeable and safe. Megan is an amazing instructor for conceal carry courses, and treats you like a friend. She is very knowledgeable and always willing to help you out if you need it. If I could give them more stars I would, they deserve every review and mention I've seen online. read more

If you are looking for " accessories" you're better off going elsewhere. They do not carry: Rifle slings, pistol holsters ( they have less than a dozen of those), scopes, rounds.. etc. they sell some pistols and some rifles and have a small crowded short range. Staff is too busy with their friends to bother with new customers read more

Full service Arms and Shooting Range. I own a Winchester 32 Special. Needed ammo which for this gun is hard to find. They had it in stock. They also checked my gun over to ensure it's safety as it's over 60 years old. They have a variety of hand guns, long guns and semi-automatic. These guys are subject matter experts and will help you find the right gun. They provide instruction and safety tips. read more

Went here for a bachelor party, or atleast the start of one. Staff were all pretty friendly and laid-back. A few of us were worried about having Illinois ID because of the note on their site, but as long as you have someone with a WI id rent the guns, or you bring your own, you should be OK. There wasn't much of a safety course. It was basically just showing the people who never shot before how to load the guns and where the safety was, but it didn't really sink in to too many of them. That's probably my friends' fault more than anything though. Prices were pretty good too. Definitely would go again. read more

Booked my future CCW class here as I am a local to WAUKESHA & I am very excited after reading the comments under about women with no experience learning and feeling confident with the training they had here. Stuck out to me as a girl who has thought out getting her CCW & is doing this to be in that same situation and place with guns! Will update about my personal end review once I have officially taken my CCW Class & what my final review is! Staff members were very useful and friendly. I didnt feel like i was debuted on America's Most Wanted as i have in the past at other establishments. I am no criminal by the way. The selection of Arms as well as the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff make it easy to make a selection or to feel comfortable for newbies. The range isnt the biggest but it does the job. The prices for the range are very reasonable. If you go on their website you will see that they have specials during the week for the range. The prices of the arms are a little stiff for me considering the internet has made it easy to obtain arms for next to nothing. This would be my only gripe about Fletcher Arms. Otherwise i give this a solid 5. Please open a location in Milwaukee! read more

My daughter and I have been to Fletchers several times this winter to shoot handguns and rifles. We keep going back because we are always treated well by the staff. We just finished an introductory handgun course and the lead instructor Mike who is clearly very knowledgeable did a great job weaving safety, skills and hands-on into the class. We will keep going to Fletchers and if/when I plan to take more handgun classes they will be at the top of my list. read more

I have taken two classes at Fletcher Arms and have recently become a member of the range. Mike is an excellent teacher. He cares about safety and helping equip gun owners with knowledge and responsible confidence. I'm a fifty y/o woman with very limited shooting experience and after two classes and practicing at the range once a week for the past three months, I'm able to safely and more confidently handle and fire my gun. Everyone at Fletcher is helpful, friendly, and encouraging. read more

I took the Basic Handgun and Concealed Carry combo class this weekend. I'm definitely not someone who likes to sit in a classroom for hours on a Sunday but this class is 100% worth it whether you have firearm knowledge or if you know nothing about the subject. Mike (the instructor) in very engaging and you probably won't find an instructor better than him. Megan (the owner) was also very present throughout the day and made me feel very comfortable as this was my first time on the range. I will be back soon for more classes. We have been to Fletcher Arms several times and have now taken 2 classes. The outstanding selection is wonderful, but what makes us coming back is the staff. From the owners to the everyday staff to Mike the instructor, there isn't a single employee that doesn't make you feel welcomed and valued. This is our one and only stop for all our needs. Thank you all for everything you do! We appreciate you! read more

I did a lot of research before deciding where to begin my search for personal protection. After looking through their website and speaking to others, I decided to drive the 20 minutes out of town to check out Fletcher Arms. At first, I wasn't sure I was in the right place, as there is no big sign, and no direction to an entrance - it sort of looks just like a warehouse. I walked in and immediately saw the range full of shooters in front; right place! I walked up and down the display case of handguns and was eventually approached. The older gentleman spoke to me about what his wife carries, the positives and negatives of a semi-automatic versus a revolver, and let me try out holding several of the models. I reiterated my complete lack of knowledge and he directed me to Jordan. Jordan was extremely accommodating and helpful, and never once condescending. I paid the $15 to shoot for an hour, and $8 to rent a gun. I paid for ammo, a target and ear/eye protection as well, though you can bring your own. You view a video outlining rules and safety in the range, and I was impressed that the staff were very responsible and proactive with safety. Jordan went into the range with me and explained in detail how to position my hands on the grip, proper safety precautions in the range, correct posture and had me do several dry runs to be sure that my stance stayed consistent through kickback. When I loaded it up and started shooting, he was very helpful and friendly with constructive comments. I swapped to a semi-automatic and tried that out too. Back out in the store he spoke with me about cleaning kits, cases, conceal and carry classes and laws and personal experience. When I said I wanted to do a little more research, he was not turned off at all and professionally wrote down the two guns I had narrowed it down to. No pressure to buy when I wasn't ready at all. A couple weeks later (yesterday), I returned to make the purchase. I didn't see Jordan, and a different rougher guy 'helped'. He pulled the gun out for me and just stood there. When I said I was ready to purchase he informed me of all the paperwork you need to bring (I was completely unaware, and subsequently didn't have all of it). I also didn't know it could take several hours to get the Wisconsin paperwork approved and take your firearm with you. I paid and will have to return for the weapon after getting my license updated with my current address - just a pain to have to go back out again. Despite the miscommunication with the purchase, I felt that Jordan was extremely helpful, and the store had most accessories necessary. PLUS they price match! CCW classes are offered for $100 here as well. read more

So impressed by this place. I've reviewed a different range in the past that was a 1 star. This is beyond 5! First off they had complimentary menstrual items in the bathroom. WHO DOES THAT?! Seriously amazing! Very reasonable pricing. Legit video for first timers, and waiver. This shows their integrity to protect their customers and keep them safe. Great selection of rentals, targets and ammo. The staff was very efficient, and kind. I want to come back this Saturday! read more

If you want service, do NOT shop here! If you are female, definitely do NOT shop here. I was looking for a scope for a .22 long gun and the sales person was somewhat helpful (after taking care of men who came into the store after me.) He stated he had to order "special" mounts for the scope I purchased. these would take 5 days to arrive and they would "call". 14 days later, after no word, I called them. The store clerk stated according to their notes, they called and left a message. (I have a cellphone and there is NO record of a incoming nor a message.) They never made any other attempts to follow up on the supposed non-response.... why should they were already paid in full for both the scope and the mounts. I was also told they would site the scope for free as part of the purchase. I asked for the scope to be bore sited. The clerk stated I would need to leave the rifle to have it done. Given my previous experience, I explained my concern over this and declined to leave the rifle and offered to wait. After a few minutes the clerk returned the rifle and stated the directions for siting the scope were "in the box". Thank goodness I had the foresight to look for them before leaving the store.... they were not anywhere in the box! Oh, says the clerk "They fell on the floor of the workroom." It quickly became very apparent the scope was NOT bore sited to the gun. and if it were.... the person needs relearn the process. (It took 3 shots just to get on the board! and yes I was using a "lead sled") I strongly encourage you to shop elsewhere especially if you need any assistance/guidance with your purchase. read more

Good place to shoot - very knowledgeable staff, clean lanes and good prices for the lanes. Customer service in the firearms industry still lacks - and by that I mean opening and making new "potential" customers feel welcome and enthusiastically introducing the sport to novices (of which I am not - but that is how I rate these types of facilities). Still - if all you are OK with heading in, shooting and leaving this is a good place to go to. Prices seem fair on guns too. read more

Friendly staff that are willing to suggest guns to rent. Prices seemed reasonable. I took my little sister here over Christmas. It was a bit crowded but I think that was due to the holidays. The staff was pleasant. They gave me a bit if attitude when I asked if there was a safety on the handgun I was renting. They said "the safety was my finger, don't use it.". Perhaps they get that question a lot. It seems like a reasonable question to me... They had us watch a safety video which was very helpful. Be sure to sign in when you arrive. When it is crowded, people are served by the order they sign in. Fun place to spend an hour or two. I would suggest that one person in your group have some gun experience. I would go back. read more

Every business should be about quality customer service. Fletcher's is not even close. I have been in there a few times looking to purchase firearms and accessories. I can't even tell you how disappointing it was to be in there. Walking in not one staff member ever acknowledged me, even to the point of having in hand what I wanted to buy and still nothing. They were not busy either so you can't blame it on that. The last and final time I actually put back the item I was going to buy and walked out, Ridiculous. The few times I was helped it took forever because staff are just talking to each other. When I finally do get help the staff, (in general) are pretty rude. Ive noticed this with other customers while I wait as well. I have never used the range so I can't comment on that but I will never be back there again for anything. read more

I had recently re-discovered my interest in range shooting and decided it was time to re-acquire a handgun. Like many folks, I decided to rent a gun and try it out before making a commitment. My first encounter with the folks at Fletcher Arms was indeed an enjoyable one. Their knowledge, friendliness and patience was appreciated - especially by someone who's limited understanding of firearms could have been a point of frustration by a gun store owner but this was not the case. Within a week, I had purchased my first handgun from Fletcher and within 2 weeks, I had purchased a second. I'm now looking at acquiring a third and will definitely be buying it from them. Dan has been extremely helpful in answering my questions, as have other staff members, some of whom routinely ask me how I am enjoying my new gun each time I visit the range. With many purchase options available, I feel I made the right choice buying from Fletcher Arms. read more

Really friendly staff with a nice range. The prices are reasonable, but if you really want to keep the cost down, obviously bring your own bullets. Targets are dirt cheap though. My wife and I had been coming here weekly (sometimes twice per week) since we moved to the Milwaukee area. At first we were really impressed with the staff. MOST of them are awesome people. Friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile for customer service. Last week after shooting, one of the employees (younger, bigger guy) started railing me about "looking at the muzzle end of my weapon" (which I don't recall doing, and am not stupid enough to do anyway. THEN he started going on and on about how I was "showing off" and "goofing around." I'm not sure what he saw, or what he THINKS he saw, but being a jerk to me ONCE is all takes for me to take my business elsewhere. We were fine with paying the higher range costs because we liked the people there, but once you treat me with SUCH disrespect, you lose my business. I take firearms safety seriously, and I (as well as my wife) are still scratching our heads trying to figure out what this butt-chewing was all about. Either way, we won't be back. That's 2 shooters, plus ammo and gun rental twice weekly. You do the math. read more

Fletchers used to be a nice place to go with my fiancé when we had time for ourselves. That was our date night, shooting range & out to dinner. That all changed when the owner made fun of one of my pistols calling it a Economy gun since the model started with the letter 'E'. & the other girl working laughed and said 'did you just call that an economy gun?' And she said yeah that's basically what it is. Even though it stood for 'Everyday Carry' I mean shouldn't you know that? You own a gun shop. That especially pissed me off considering it was my first pistol I ever bought. Fast forward a week. We came back since I bought another gun (M&P Shield 2.0) not from you guys since it was over priced. I got it for a fraction of the cost that you guys were selling it for. We were shooting and a worker came in and said we can't shoot closer than 30, but we weren't even shooting at the time & other people were shooting even closer then we were but we were singled out. We were loading our magazines. It wasn't even in your stupid video that you make people watch. A piece of paper with rules would suffice. Not to mention he was rude and telling me how to hold my gun and said it was 'America I can do whatever I want' he also said if we shot something that wasn't a target he would charge us for the equipment even though your equipment is mostly duct taped and sub par compared to other places we've shot at. Not to mention the holes everywhere in the ceilings. He kept repeating that 'we would have to change something' if we didn't listen to him. Yeh we changed something, we left. People make honest mistakes, you're not always going to hit the target that's why you practice. You lost loyal customers but I'm sure you don't care but that's fine cause your workers egos are so far up their asses and doesn't know customer service. Ps it's time to upgrade your range. It's trashy and DUCT TAPED. Pss just cause you work at a gun shop doesn't mean you're an expert you probably make minimum wage read more
