Only after install were we able to see that they added a seam right in the middle of our countertop, it is extremely visible and uneven. After reaching out about the issue, Classic Granite was uncooperative and made an excuse about a "seam policy" that we were never told about previously and wasn't disclosed on our paperwork. No one seemed to understand nor speak any English. Guy shook his head a few times, stuttered factory finish, then walked out the door and quickly took off in the company van. I am surprised I did not see rubber marks on the drive! The counters in our kitchen and other bathrooms are fine, which is why I gave a three star vs one. Everything went downhill after that! Our last backordered piece arrived yesterday, 8 months from when the builder paid 50% down. The customer service and management was so lacking and we had to initiate 75% of the communication, including a demand or we take action to get the $2,000 deposit returned that they accidently forgot to credit us. We ended up providing our own installers due to the timing of everything in attempt to stay on schedule. Jemson told the builder he had to pay the 2nd half closer to when we wanted delivery. Once they had 100% payment, we started to learn of all the delays. We did not feel the urgency to get things sooner-especially with the backordered things. Our last piece had the delivery date changed 3 times, each time saying it would be a month longer. We feel someone dropped the ball in ordering. Jemson did not reach out to us to see if we got these last two pieces and if everything was complete and satisfactory, closing our order. Fabuwood's semi-custom kitchen is beautiful but it should not have taken 8 months to complete! "Thank you for your patience." was the only platitude we heard from Jemson in response to our frustration and the wait. I would NOT recommend working with Jemson if you are hoping to have an experience without frustration, stress and being treated fairly and with dignity as a paying customer.

This could have been a 4 star experience if pick up went a little easier. The backstory was I…read moreneeded glass for a dresser top. It needed to have polished edges. I called several different glass companies to get estimates and lead times. Only two answered, one quoting a price of $60. Howell's gave me a price of $35, while all the others never returned my messages. It was a no brainer to place my order with Howells, although I did have some pick up concerns. I was told it would take a week. I placed the order on a Thursday around lunchtime. Howells shares space and/or has some sort of affiliation with a True Value in the city. In a less than desirable part of the city. I was concerned about parking, as that area is street, and some metered and very hard to secure parking. The weight of the glass according to my goggle research would be about 27 lbs. I was concerned about the possibility of walking some distance in a bad neighborhood with a large piece of glass. I spoke to them about this and was told of their parking lot in the back off of the Beaver Street alley and to call when I got there and someone would bring it out. To my surprise my order was ready for pick up a few hours later and was a few dollars less than they quoted me. I went to pick up after I got off work, still dressed in my work attire. The alleyway is wedged between a church and warehouses. There was a lot back there, wasn't sure it was theirs but parked and called. They said I was in the correct spot and to walk up the ramp, thru the glass shop, into the True Value to pick up. I asked why they can't bring it to my car and was told that "there was paperwork I needed to complete". It was prepaid. I assumed someone would carry the glass out. It's late in the day and about to get dark. I'm in heels. I walk up the ramp and thru a workshop where they are actively cutting glass with protective gear on. I'm not in protective gear and it's a maze to get to the store. In the store a lady hands me the glass and the receipt - which apparently was the "paperwork aspect" and I'm left to fend for myself, carrying this huge piece of glass the same way I came in. An employee did offer to open the door for me but at no time was it offered that they carry it to my car. I made it ok but wasn't thrilled about the experience especially after being told pickup would be handled differently. Note to store, they need to make this process easier for customers, especially females and at no time should any customer walk thru a working "shop". That alone is a huge liability. Also labeling of the lot and lighting would be most appreciated for safety reasons especially in such a bad neighborhood. Otherwise I was thrilled they got my order done earlier and for less.
