The ammo has been scarce, usually next to nothing on the shelves. But yesterday our cashier, Gustav, was a ray of sunshine. Family and I are very disappointed. We are loyal customers of fleet farm. Each year we get so excited for their Black Friday Sale. We make sure to arrive early for the free holiday plush. This year broke our hearts! We arrived thirty minutiae early and joined the long line. It was awfully cold this year, but we were in bright spirits. However, when the doors opened, sadness kicked in. They opened both doors, and split the line. Because of this families and individuals were able to just join the line, while we were still stuck in the line waiting. Over and over individuals flew through the main entrance, while our line stood still not working. Finally, we got to the door, only to be told there were no more plush animals. No warning from the employees outside, so we could join the other line. We look forward every year to take home the stuffed animals and add to our Christmas decorations. By the time, we tried to join the other line they were completely out. We were devastated! The first time in 20 years, we did not receive a stuffed animal. Our hearts are truly broken! read more

I know it's a chain retail store. The Holiday Ad intrigued me as I was looking for a John Deere toy for a 3 year old for Christmas. Nowhere to be found on shelf. I asked and magically there were 2 in the warehouse. I waited and came back to area and thanked sales associate for going above and beyond. Of course they were out of taste of the wild dog food at $1.50 a can. I'm part of Fleet Rewards and tried over 2.5 hours last Tuesday online as their website crashed and was able to order my own Christmas present a 22" Blackstone griddle. With rewards points, I saved $5. I also ordered 12 cans of the dog food and a wood scraper for cleanup on my Traeger. On Saturday, I ordered 10 bags of Bear Mountain pellets. Pickup has been easy at the outside lot each time. I bought gift cards for clients here, and for my dad for Christmas. Fleet Farm carries more than just farm stuff. They have housewares, groceries, clothing, shoes, pet supplies, toys, gardening supplies, snacks, clothes, health and beauty, sporting goods, ammo sometimes? Worse experience buying new tires. We bought new Good Year tires for our Chevrolet Colorado truck on Saturday, August 21st. Three weeks later on Saturday, September 11th one of the tires went flat. This happened in front of a farmer's house and between the three of us not one of us could see any damage to the tire. Called twice Sunday morning to talk to someone both times could only reach the voicemail. We drove over there; one again the Auto Department Manager, Technician, and my husband could not see one thing wrong with the tire. We got a call from the Technician a few hours later and she told us there was a gash in the sidewall of the tire. How in the world could five different individuals look at a tire see nothing and two hours later there is a gash in the sidewall of the tire? Because we did not take road hazard warranty we ended up buying a new tire. I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere for new tires. To top the experience off; the receipt has their Auto Department Store hours 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. We got there at 4:58 pm, the department was shut down. read more

I am very disappointed in Fleet Farm in Lakeville. We were supposed to be getting new tires today, November 18. Arrived at our appt 15 min early. They asked if we were to wait or was someone picking us up . After as little over an hour of waiting they finally got our vehicle in the garage. After about 10 mins or so. They came to us said there were no tires there to be fitted on to our vehicle. We had ordered them on Monday November,15. The total time for this waiting was approx. 1 hour 25 min. They could of said something before. I guess we arent the first customer that was disappointed. read more

Had a new set of tires put on and should have stopped at the first red flag. Needed 19 inch tires and they quoted me the 17 inch. When I was there to put them on I heard one of the techs say to just put the 17s on. Um, no, you will not put 17s on my car designed for 19. Apparently a basic understanding of vehicles is t required. Again, should have walked away at that point. So new tires are on and the next morning my car is telling me my front passenger tire is at 6psi. Call fleetfarm and obviously I have to bring it back. Pump it, drop what I'm doing and leave work to get there when they have someone available, and they tell me there is nothing wrong with it. It must have been the sensor. I could see it, 6 PSI is hard to miss, it was not my sensor. So they reseal it and i get no apologies or anything from them. What a joke. Get your dog food from FF, take your tires to the adults. read more

This is my first review and I want to state of furious I am with this store! I was asked multiple times if I wanted the ff credit card, after stating I wasn't interested in it. The gentleman kept insisting on me signing up (fyi it's a terrible card with very high interest rate). After making a few rude jokes and comments. I wasn't spending any more time in that store or going back ever again. Management really should reconsider who they hire. Fleet farm used to be great under the mills family. Been a loyal customer for years but due to their return policy I will be re-thinking my place of purchase. Tried to return an item that was used once. Just felt it was not a good product. They said it was not "resell-able". Ok fine. Costco would have taken it back though. Then two other products still in the original packaging and unopened they would not take back because it was longer than 90 days. They still have these products on their shelves. Didn't matter. This place is a good place to find weird things nobody else has. They have a plethora of hunting and fishing items. The prices are inexpensive. The store is old and shabby. I come here to get pool and hot tub chemicals. They normally have a good selection of chemicals even during the winter but not this year. Maybe I need to find an online supplier. I don't really shop here for anything else. It is a good place for non-slip shoes if you need those. They have a lot of firearms too. I thought I had submitted a review a few months ago, but now I don't see it. It wasn't very complimentary to the FF Lakeville store, because I referenced their lack of having adequate inventories in any and all categories. But alas, I thought maybe the virus interrupted their supply chain, so I went back today. And guess what- No difference! I had five things on my list and they didn't have three in stock. The corporate office really need to do a performance review with their purchasing manager for this store and put them on a 'performance enhancement' track. Doubt me? Check out the pics. These were in different departments too. No employees around to ask questions; cashier was just a robotic kid who just wanted to be at the mall (or where ever 17 yr olds hang these days). Ever since the Mills family sold Fleet Farm the new corporation is terrible. I really loved stopping here for all my horse needs but now you pretty much have to camp outside to try and get a bag of Buckeye EQ8 Gut Health. Here is what I wrote to them and if any horse owners in the area have this issue too I would love for them to write corporate: Once again I am writing about the inability of the Lakeville Fleet Farm to keep stock of Buckeye EQ8 Gut Health. Sometime in May I contacted you about this issue and got lots of promises on how the store will have the product available and that the matter will be rectified. I was also told the store manager would contact me regarding this issue and he did once, then when I returned his call I never heard from him again. The Lakeville store has been out of this product for quite some time but again. Many horse owners in the Lakeville area use this product, continually express their frustration over not being able to purchase the product yet Fleet Farm chooses not to do anything about this situation. As I told you back in May, horses are not like dogs in that you simply cannot feed your horse a different feed if your regular product is not available. Horses' systems are very sensitive to diets and require consistency so as not to colic. I would really like to know why the Lakeville store is unable to stock this product in accordance with demand? I would tend to think that a corporation would want to keep it's customers yet since the Mills family has sold Fleet Farm I find it less and less appealing to shop the store. Fleet Farm used to be one of my favorite places to shop but lately I'm beginning to feel that I will not shop there for any product since they choose to ignore the needs of their consumers. read more

We love Mills Fleet Farm in Lakeville, Mn, especially the automotive service department. They have done several jobs for us on our vehicles and our snowblower. They are fast, competent, and never do work that is not needed. Prices are always fair and appointments are very easy to make with them. We will continue to take any automotive problem to this store. Lakeville MN Fleet Farms needs to become far more cleanliness consciousness. Carts are filthy, not sanitized, full of trash. No hand cleaner, or cart wipes visibly available. Cashier took my wallet out of my hands to look at my DL when I was buying shotgun shells. Didn't understand when I told him I didn't want him to touch my wallet. Not sure when he last cleaned his hands. Store generally needs cleaning. read more

I was checking out with my Purina dog food and I saw that only one cash register was open but no one was there. I waited about 5mins and the worker Brian finally showed up. Fleet Farm had a sale on tires, buy 3 get one free. When I went in to purchase tires two days after my daughter received a quote, the automotive service guy stated that promotion ended yesterday. After reviewing the ad after I left the store, the tire promotion was still in effect for another 3 days. The auto service guy didn't know how to do his job so used the excuse the promotion ended. Training and management leadership is greatly lacking at this store. Do not shop at this store if you need assistance because the employees and management don't seem know their head from a hole in the wall. read more

The Lakeville store used to be good....it has really gone down hill since family sold it. More than half the lights are burned out in store....staff is rude....car wash has been out of order for months! They get you to buy tickets for car wash in advance because the credit card reader and cash part DOES NOT WORK at car wash. So I buy tickets ....yesterday one stall in car wash was FINALLY OPEN and my ticket would not work because it expired! It expired because I could never use it do to being out of order! Talked to customer service and was told by Judy [I believe] " I don't care, not my problem, you should of used it sooner". It is time for this store to close or be sold to a company that cares! The store has certainly gone down since the store was sold to a New York investment firm. They have cut back on pretty much everything, including the merchandise assortment, staffing and store maintenance. Items I have purchased for years have been discontinued. In their places are mostly empty shelf spaces. I wonder if the new owners really want to loose sales, or if not having products to sell is their idea of inventory control? Also gone are people at the checkout registers. During my last visit in the middle of the week they had two checkout lanes open with long lines extending way back into the merchandise departments. I was told that the new owners are only hiring part time people to save money, and one has to wonder if not having people staff the store is a good way to save money? Fleet Farm has always been higher priced than their competitors, but offered better service. Today, they have higher prices and NO service. Time to move along. read more

I love to visit and stock up on their fruit preserves, winter-proof socks and layer-able clothing, and stuff for the dogs. Minnesota doesn't mess around when it comes to cold weather items! They have the largest selection of American-made rawhides, bones and treats. When it comes to treats for humans, their selection of bulk nuts and candies is enough to last you a lifetime, and then some. read more

This place is massive..and really has everything you could possibly need. I made my yearly pilgrimage here a few days before Christmas to stock up on gifts for my Dad, brothers, and sister. From work gloves to horse reins, to ammunition, pretty much anything you would want or need for working outdoors or on the farm is here. The staff is always very helpful too, and when a Jersey girl walks into a MN Fleet Farm with a lost look on her face, they are quick to offer assistance. Auto services and fuel, accessories, parts for autos and small engines. Farm supplies, home supplies, clothing, fishing, hunting, landscaping supplies, garden plants and patio furniture. Fleet Farm is a special breed of store. I'm not sure of any other place in the country where you can fill up you tank of gas, buy some livestock, get building supplies, army surplus gear, a playground for the kids, and a motorcycle helmet. That doesn't even scratch the surface of what Fleet Farm has to offer. They cater to mostly farmers and animal owners but stock items for nearly every mid-western outdoor need. There are many stores that have a wide variety of items in stock, but Fleet Farm also has helpful employees and competitive prices. If you are looking for something but don't really know what store to go to, Fleet Farm is a good first bet. I have been a customer for a long time and really enjoy everything about Fleet Farm. The one thing I have noticed is that they don't really care if their employees are knowledgeable about the things you would expect someone at a store like Home-Depot to help you with. That isn't what they specialize in, so it doesn't change my opinion of them at all. read more

It was a Monday and I couldn't believe how many people were shopping here. Lines were long, every other register open, 6 foot spacing between customers. Went in to get boots. Signs said 20% off ALL boots. Columbia boots we purchased rang up $99.99. Noticed this on the way out and went to customer service. They looked up the product and said this was excluded from the sale. WATCH OUT. Could have gotten the same thing ANYWHERE else for the same price. Not worth the trip to go to FF. read more

It doesn't matter which day of the week, or what time of day, there Is always a wait. This review is in regard to the Auto Center only. Never again. Ever. I find Mills Fleet Farm to be a schizophrenic experience. Some staff are wonderfully helpful, some are seriously annoyed by your presence. The whole store is dreadfully disorganized, but in its own way charming. I shop there monthly or more. So, when I was handed a checkout coupon for a $18 oil change at their auto center, I was thrilled. What a deal! Sure, I'd have to make an appointment and it wouldn't be as quick as any rapid lube place, but at this price, I can deal with a little inconvenience. Right. You know what they say about things that seem too good to be true? Have you heard of a bait-and-switch? I set up my appointment for 6pm the following day. When I arrived, there was one other person in the waiting area, and I heard one other overhead page for someone's service completion. Needless to say, they weren't all that busy. After THIRTY MINUTES, the guy behind the counter called me up and said that the coupon wasn't going to work, as it was only good for their bulk oil. My car requires 0W-20, which they don't have in bulk. Taking a deep breath, I consented for them to continue, already having given them a full half-hour. Bad choice. I could have LEFT, GONE TO A VALVOLINE RAPID OIL CHANGE, AND HAD MY OIL CHANGED QUICKER THAN THESE CLOWNS! I'm serious! I was there for AN HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES!! FOR AN OIL CHANGE!! WHEN THE PLACE WAS LARGELY EMPTY!!! From a certain vantage point you can see into part of the shop and I had a very clear view of my car. It sat dormant with no one working on it for HUGE stretches of time. Even after it was backed out of the shop, I waited another 15-20 MINUTES just to pay! What in the world were they doing? I saw people sweeping. I saw people standing around. I saw people doing a whole lot of not caring enough to get me back to my family. To add insult to injury, they ended up charging me an extra $5 for something called their "Signature Oil Change", which I specifically told them when I set up the appointment I did not want. I was too aggravated to argue, as I knew if I opened this Pandora's box, it might turn into an all out rage-fest right there at the counter. This all ended up costing me nearly the same as going to Valvoline. (Sitting here, shaking my head.) Like I said before, it's worth repeating: Never. Ever. Again. I was told twice that "the boots were in the warehouse somewhere" this first time the lady had actually said out loud "yes we have them but I'm not going to look back there it'll take me an hour!" At this point I don't even think honesty was the best policy. Just tell me you don't have them and you'll contact me when they are available. I would have much rather that.
