This review is long overdue but I wanted to make sure I had pictures to back up this awesome woman. I want to first say Lucy you are one of the best humans on this planet. From start to finish you are just amazing. Alright here goes my review. Like most of you I was looking for the perfect make-up artist, which is not as easy as you think. I actually had settled on someone but I wasn't 100% sold - since your wedding day is the day you are to look you best I decided to invest in one last search for "the one". So glad I did, because I came across Lucy. I met with Lucy for a trial which was awesome - I got to know her, she got to know me and we clicked. On top of that when she was done with my trial I knew this was the chicka to put the finishing pieces on my wedding day. If you are looking for someone that knows what they are doing, has a passion for beauty and is a wonderful person to have on the most important day in your life - you want Lucy. Not only did Lucy make me look amazing - she did my 2 sisters + my mom all in time for me to walk - truly amazing. I had so much fun laughing and hanging out while we all got our make up done - making jokes and taking each moment in. I wish I could re-live my wedding day again and again. I hope this review does your work justice - if not I will post a few pictures that will speak more than 1000 words. Lucy from the bottom of my heart - I thank you! Flawless Beauty - Getting ready to get married 11.12.13 - Makeup Artists Near Me

See all

I was less than two months away from my wedding and had not yet booked a makeup artist. The one I had initially found through Wedding Wire was making me feel uneasy and worried as to whether or not she'd show up on my wedding day (she did not email me contract information for a week past when she told me she would because she'd thrown her back out...how was I supposed to feel confident that she'd be healthy on my big day if she couldn't even send an email??) I was stressing out big time that I hadn't found someone, so I contacted my fabulous wedding coordinator (see my review for Eventful Days - Jill Guiomar), and she recommended Lucy-Zayne. I feel so incredibly grateful to the makeup artist who made me feel uneasy, because if all of that hadn't happened, I never would have found Lucy!! Lucy was quick to respond to my voicemail inquiry, and we set up a makeup trial shortly after the call. The trial went wonderfully, and Lucy was so easy to talk to. She'd asked me for photos before the trial of my dress, my earrings, how I was planning to do my hair, and also examples of makeup styles I was going for. She executed the look I wanted perfectly during the trial, and I had the utmost confidence in her on my wedding day! Her prices were extremely reasonable as well (especially for the Bay Area which can be outrageous). Communication with Lucy was fantastic throughout the weeks leading up to my wedding. She even emailed me to let me know she was going to be out of town for a wedding a little before my wedding, so she might be hard to get a hold of on her travel days. Anyone who has gotten married knows there is nothing like great communication and setting expectations when it comes to wedding vendors! Lucy was one of the best communicators I had among all my vendors. Lucy showed up to the hotel right on time the morning of my wedding. She got two and 1/2 of my bridesmaids (one just got lashes and a little unexpected, but appreciated overall makeup touch up), my mom, our two flower girls and me done with time to spare! Everyone looked beautiful!!! My mom and bridesmaids really enjoyed talking with Lucy while they were in her chair, and they were all really happy with their makeup. Lucy gave everyone touch up makeup kits to take with us so we could keep our makeup looking fabulous throughout the day and night. I can't tell you how many compliments I received throughout my wedding about my makeup, and they keep coming in from people who weren't at the wedding but have seen pictures. No one can tell that I only had around 3 hours of sleep the night before because of Lucy's magic! I am so thankful Jill recommended Lucy-Zayne to me, and I highly recommend her to any bride who is looking for a great makeup artist! read more

Lucy was recommended to me for hair by my makeup artist and I am SO glad I listened to her! Lucy was amazing. She is super friendly, and is truly a "people person". I did a trial at her house (first time meeting her) and felt like we had been best friends for years! She makes you feel so comfortable and is easy to chat with. Besides her wonderful interpersonal skills, her work with hair is fantastic! During the trial, Lucy put in my purchased extensions and "played" with my hair until it was to her liking (and mine!) On my wedding day, Lucy showed up on time and ready to go. She did hair for my entire bridal party plus my mom and flower girl (and finished on time!) She did a variety of up-do's, side pony-tails, and half-up, half-down styles. All of my bridesmaid's hair looked great and totally fit their personalities. When it came to my hair, Lucy set my hair early on in the day to make sure my curls lasted. She also did my hair last so that I would be the freshest for my big day. She put in my decorative comb and veil as well. When I thought the veil was too high, she listened and repositioned for me. What's great about Lucy is that she truly wants you to be happy and she listens to your comments and makes adjustments as needed. Lucy prides herself on following through on her commitments as a service provider for such an important day in her client's lives. She is often times bailing out brides whose stylists cancelled on them last minute, so her integrity as a business owner really shines through into her work. I would definitely recommend Lucy for hair over and over again! Thanks Lucy!! read more

As a commercial photographer and photo editor I get to work with lots of makeup and hair stylist through the many years of my professional practice in New York and here in the Bay Area. I could say that Lucy is one of the few exceptional artists to me with very nice personality and being very creative. She has it all! I had met her last year at a wedding I photographed and when I saw her the way she works and the finished product - the hair and makeup she did for my bride and the bridesmaids I knew she is someone I would love to work with. She is absolutely professional with providing the best customer service to her/my clients and she listens to them. She is quick and doesn't waste any second of her time, bride's time and my time as you know how important is to be quick, creative and professional during the wedding day and not only. If the makeup and hair artist does her work outstandingly then the bride/client is happy and my pictures look awesome. Photography is a process and 50 % of this process especially for a high end, stylized, beautiful portraiture are the makeup and hair . The client feels way more confident and happier in front of the camera when they know they know they look the best. And Lucy is the one who can do that for my clients and for you! I recommend her 101 % to anyone who needs professional makeup and hair done (beauty shots, boudoir, glamour, , maternity photos, senior portraits, brides, proms, or any special occasion or photo shoot), by a very artistic and creative person. Her prices are very reasonable. You will love her. Stani Photography loves Lucy and Flawless Beauty ! read more

I can't say enough great things about Lucy and Flawless Beauty. She made me look and feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day. From the trial through the end of my wedding night I was extremely pleased with Lucy's work. She's incredibly easy to work with and offers very reasonable pricing, especially considering the end result. Lucy did my hair and makeup, along with my four bridesmaids, and makeup for my mom. I was nervous it'd be tough to complete everyone's looks on time, but we were right on schedule. My bridesmaids were skeptical as to whether their hair and makeup would really last all day and night, and were all impressed with how it held up. Even my mom was pleased with the results and she hardly wears makeup. She didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. I'd absolutely recommend Flawless Beauty! read more

I got married on September 15th 2012 and had the pleasure of Lucy doing the makeup for me and my girls (11 total). She was so easy to work with and was honest with me about what looked good and appropriate for the big day. She set up a trial which I was initially stressed about because I live in San Diego and the wedding was in the Bay Area. It was no problem. She worked with me and my crazy schedule and made the life of a bride to be stress free. Thanks for that BTW :) There were a couple young girls along with a bridesmaid who hates makeup. Lucy and her team made them feel comfortable, relaxed and most importantly beautiful. All my girls were happy with the results and it really made our long day a beautiful one. Thanks Lucy for making us feel and look great! read more

Lucy is amazing!! Lucy was referred to me by one of my best friends. She was very professional, always on time and listed to me on what I liked and didn't. I used Lucy for my wedding day and a few other events, she did both my hair and makeup. Lucy and her team did the makeup for about 10 girls and ALL the girls loved their makeup. They made all the girls look beautiful naturally without that caked on makeup look that you sometimes see. I highly recommend Lucy for both hair and makeup. My makeup and hair lasted throughout the entire night. She also did my Mom's makeup and made her feel completely at ease! read more

Lucy-Zayne was great. As noted previously, from the trial through the day of it was "flawless". My trial was great. Lucy-Zayne arrived on time for the day of my wedding on September 21, 2013. She not only did my make up but also for my two bridesmaids and my mother. She answered questions and was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to another bride looking for a true make-up artist. Lucy-Zayne is a gem. read more

I was searching for a makeup artist for my wedding - I was treating my 5 bridesmaids and my mom and aunt. Quite a tall order!. All the cool and hip people (or so they seemed online) were out of my budget. Then I did a search on Craig's list and found Erin Slater. She had worked for MAC and was really professional over the phone. Her prices were really reasonable as well. She came over to my house for a trial. I figured we would be trying several looks, but the first time I looked in the mirror, my face looked absolutely perfect. Erin "got it" in a big way - and believe me, I'm obsessed with makeup and am a tough sell. Fast forward to my wedding where Erin and Lucy were our makeup artists: my bridesmaids looked beautiful, and my mom and aunt ( who have more "mature" skin) looked really glamorous yet age appropriate at the same time. A lot of people commented how great my makeup looked. I really loved these girls and highly recommended them. In fact, I'm just hoping that I have an event that warrants a makeover just so I can call them again! read more

For my best friend's wedding, as a gift to her I decided to pay for her hair and makeup. She was planning on doing it herself but I am a strong believer in not having to do ur own makeup and hair on ur big day. I had the job of finding a person do it and I saw all the great reviews on yelp and knew I had to contact them. I emailed them and got an email back within an hour. Lucy was my point of contact and I explained to her the situation. From there my friend took over to discuss the style and makeup, but all finances were to go through me. When the time of the trial came, Lucy was such s likable person. She was so sweet and honest. It was easy to talk to her and she suggested a couple of changes that I thought worked well with my friend. Of course she made her more beautiful! Make up was natural but smokey and the hair was simple but elegant. The wedding day was no exception. My friend had a few changes she wanted to make to her hair but Lucy worked with it. They are a bit pricey but it was well worth the price. It's a plus that they are willing to travel and have such nice artists who actually listen and bring out ur natural beauty. I would definitely use them for my own wedding. read more

Lucy is AMAZING! She is so talented, professional, and again, AMAZING. She made me look and feel beautiful for my wedding day. The make-up was natural and it was not heavy at all. She did my hair and was very efficient with time. I would recommend her again and again and again! Thank you so much! read more

Lucy is amazing! She honestly made me feel so beautiful on my big day. She is both professional and fun. She knows exactly what she is doing and really took away a lot of stress for me. I knew I was in good hands with Lucy. Not only did I look fabulous walking down the isle, I still looked fabulous by the last dance of the night. My hair and make-up stayed in tact the entire day! I really can't say enough about Flawless Beauty. Lucy took the time to make sure I bought the right products for touch ups, she sent extra bobby pins with the BMs just in case, and was truly a perfectionist in everything she did. Thank you Lucy. I was referred to Flawless Beauty by a friend whose wedding makeup looked amazing. Erin was a pleasure to work with and she did such an amazing job!! I was impressed with her professionalism and positive attitude. Since I am not a heavy make up wearer in my daily life I was worried about looking too dolled up on my big day, but Erin took that into consideration and my makeup looked amazing. I was completely satisfied and I highly recomend Erin to any bride! read more

I called several makeup artists recommended on Yelp before I decided up Erin and Lucy of Flawless Beauty for my wedding day. I realize that a phone conversation can give no indication of someone's makeup/hair artistry, but the ease and confidence with which Erin answered my questions about her experience working with Asian faces, pricing guidelines, and overall mission statement impressed me. I knew I'd found my girl, and she delivered. Background info- I know nothing about hair and makeup, so I thought FB's prices were expensive and that they took too long, but I was way off. Their makeup prices are right on par with everyone else, but remember- you are paying for TRAINED PROFESSIONALS. Erin and Lucy know what they're doing and you get more than you pay for. Hair prices vary depending on length and style (updo v. down), so there's a wider range. Also, turns out makeup and hair just take a long time. My bridal party of 5 and I were pleased with the final results. Everyone looked gorgeous, were complimented all night, and not a hair fell out of place (FB didn't even use that many bobby pins!). My only complaint was that a wedding attendant jumped in unplanned to have her hair done (which I didn't mind at all), but made me slightly off schedule for pictures. The traffic before the Caldecott Tunnel didn't help either. Bottom line: book Erin and Lucy of Flawless Beauty. You won't regret it. read more

Lucy-Zayne did my makeup and hair for my wedding last year. She was really professional and friendly. My hair turned out beautiful, exactly the way I wanted it. My makeup was pretty nice, though I did get an awful lot of creasing under the eye from the concealer. Overall though, I got tons of compliments on my hair/makeup, and she really did a great job. She also did my mom's hair/makeup. At first, my mom did not like what she was doing with her hair, but after telling her as much, Lucy changed it up and my mom was really happy with it. I did about 2-3 other makeup trials before calling up Lucy, and I'm glad I held out before booking because she was WAY better than everyone else I saw. She really took her time getting my hair and makeup JUST right, and I would definitely recommend her to others. read more

Lucy is the BEST! From day 1, she was super responsive and just an all around pleasure to work with. She was recommended to me by my make up artist so I immediately booked a trial...she came to my home, sorted thru my horrible explanations of what I envisioned, and still managed to get it right the first time out. Needless to say, I booked her on the spot for my wedding day! She and her partner Erin nailed my brial parties looks down to a T - and I could not have been happier with how my hair turned out!!! It photographed beautifully and even though I was going for a natural up do, it looked effortless!!! I highly recommend these ladies and would work with them again in a heart beat :) read more

This review is almost a year too late! I used her services in Sept 2012....and I am now just getting to this. Shame on me! I found Lucy via my fellow yelpers. I reached out to her via email and she called me later that evening. Fast forward: she was extremely patient, thorough and super sweet. I am a virgo and beyond obsessed with order and organization. Countless emails and conversations later, she made my day so special and stress free!! She did the makeup for my wedding, 11 girls total. Her team is professional, courteous and fun to hang out with. I highly recommend Lucy Zayne and her team! read more

I was dilligent in researching my hair and makeup team for my recent March wedding and came across the dynamic duo of Lucy-Zayne Nsour and Erin Slater of Flawless Beauty! How lucky am I?! They were the ultimate professionals and were so fun and easy to work with. As a total, my bridal party was 4 and we were all over the board in terms of looks. I am tan and have short black hair, my sis the same and my BFF is fair with blonde hair and same for another friend. They had a huge case of MAC cosmetics and had the right stuff for us all. They were super professional by touching base prior to the wedding with requested looks for my bridal party since they were all from out of town and they came to my hotel and did us up right! They weren't bossy, they were beautiful and do amazing work! I know it's tough to find the right person for your special day and it was amazing to find 2...they both do hair and makeup and were timely and again...amazing! I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thanks ladies! read more

Lucy and her team did the hair and makeup at my wedding. Her prices were very reasonable and she was very friendly and responsive as we planned for the wedding. We had a very large wedding party (13 people!), but Lucy assured me she could handle it (and she was right!). She came on time, had all the necessary materials (chairs, mirrors, touch-up kits, etc.), and was very friendly and professional to everyone. She listened to everyone's requests and made sure the entire bridal party looked and felt amazing. read more

Not only did Lucy of Flawless Beauty do my hair and make-up for me on my wedding day, I've referred her to my sister and friends for years. She did my mom's hair and make-up, and she never felt more beautiful in her life. She truly has a special talent, takes your natural beauty, and enhances it in ways that builds confidence, and makes you shine on your special day. She is also a great person, fun to be around, and a true professional. She makes sure you love your look, and supplies you with touch-up bags the day of your event. She literally thinks of all the details. Wish I was getting married again to have an excuse for her to do my hair and make-up again. Exceptional!! read more

love, Love, LOVE THEM! I had the pleasure of having Lucy-Zayne and Erin do my wedding hair and make up. They also did my entire bridal party's hair and make up this past July. My initial dealings were with Lucy. What I totally loved was that from the very beginning she was VERY responsive to my inquiries and took time to explain what she did, what she could offer, and really listened to my preferences and concerns. I had two trial sessions with her. Both times, she arrived right on time and brought with her such a HUGE variety of products/colors...and I was told this was only a sample of what she carried. Lucy was very open to "playing" with my look until we acheived something I was happy with. My look was very polished and defined without looking overdone. On the day of the wedding, Lucy and Erin promptly at 5 a.m. ready to work. Yes, I said 5 a.m. Myself, my mother, and 6 bridesmaids and 1 flower girl were all dolled up by the time we needed to be finished by. They are both so easy to work with and friendly & definitely lessened the stress of planning a wedding. All the gals got compliments on how beautiful they looked througout the day, as did the BRIDE :) Lucy & Erin, you freakin' ROCK! read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Lucy-Zayne did such a wonderful job doing both makeup and hair for my wedding which included myself (bride), bridesmaids and mother of the bride. Not only did everyone look absolutely stunning, but she does a great job at making sure everyone looks like themselves still... just the best version! She was punctual, on time and kept us on track, which the photographers loved! Her professionalism from day 1 was fantastic. I wish I had another reason to work with her again, I've never felt more beautiful. I couldn't recommend her more. Thank you Lucy! read more

I could not have been happier with the makeup and hair work Lucy and Erin did for my girls and me on my wedding day. They were on time, very professional, and made us look amazing. I scheduled a makeup and hair trial for the morning I was going to fly out to Vegas for my bachelorette party. Lucy came to my house at 5:30AM to do my makeup and hair! I told her I needed it to last the whole day, and that it needed to hold up to the massive amount of partying we were going to be doing in Vegas. My makeup & hair withstood the 1.5 hour flight, walking the strip, and 4 nightclubs. Needless to say, I was sold at that point. My makeup and hair was perfect the day of my wedding. It looked natural and photographed beautifully. They were able to do all 8 of my bridesmaids' makeup and hair, 1 flowergirl, plus my mom and me within the time frame given. They even gave me lipstick, lip liner, and a Fix + setting spray to use for touch ups throughout the day with no additional cost. I plan on going back to them for any major events where I would need makeup and hair done. read more

Lucy Zayne did a fantastic job for my wedding! I found her on the Vendor List on Hakone Gardens website (where I had my reception). I figured that she couldn't be that bad since she's being recommended. Still, I checked on Yelp to make sure she had positive reviews....and she did! I left this element of wedding prep late so I had about 3 weeks to look for a makeup and hair artist. I specifically wanted someone who could come to my home and do everything there. After making an initial inquiry, Lucy Zayne was responsive and very friendly, and knowing that I had limited time, was as accommodating as she could be with her schedule. I appreciated that she asked for my opinion and my preferences and did not impose hers on me. I emailed her a couple of different styles I was thinking of in advance before the trial so she can get a feel of what I'm after. I was very impressed after the makeup and hair trial- the make up was light, made my face look absolutely flawless and gave such a soft and feminine touch to my hair as well. As someone who doesn't use make up often, she gave me lots of hints and tips that I could do on my own. She was on time for the wedding (despite another appointment earlier in the morning) and did a fantastic job again. I had a lot of compliments from family and guests. The make up stayed on all day and I felt very comfortable in that look without feeling that I was caked on with loads of make up. I would definitely recommend Lucy Zayne to do your hair and make up for your special day! read more

Within a month before my wedding I found out my hair stylist bailed on me and Lucy was recommended to me by my bridal boutique. I could not have gotten a better recommendation. Lucy was so pleasant and easy to work with from our first phone call. On wedding day she arrived right on time and set up her station, she was completely prepared, professional and organized. She went right to work on my bridesmaids and all of their hair turned out just beautiful. It was my turn last and I told her exactly what I was looking for with my hair, and not only did she do that- it turned out SO much better than I could have ever imagined! I wanted to wear my hair down and have soft curls that gave me volume and lasted the entire wedding. I was dubious that my fine hair would make that happen for me. Well somehow Lucy made it happen- and without a ton of hair product either. It was still sexy and soft. My hair came out PERFECT, and when I look through my wedding pictures now I appreciate even more what a good job she did. She is so lovely and talented, and a real joy to work with. And she was so efficient too! And reasonably priced. Now that I truly know how good she is, I would have used her for makeup too if I hadn't already had a family friend doing it. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone for your big day. She will make you look like a movie star! THANK YOU LUCY!! read more

Simply said, and it's been said many times on Yelp, Lucy is amazing! She truly goes above and beyond what I ever expected and I couldn't be happier or feel more confident. She worked with me from the beginning to figure out what make-up and hair style I was interested in and what would be suit my wedding (venue, time, month, etc). I felt a little clueless and overwhelmed by all the options I was finding online and Lucy went out of her way to take the ideas I liked and make them into something real. My make-up was exactly what I wanted, it brought out all of my favorite features, was photo-ready, but didn't look heavy or caked-on. I have girlfriends that have gotten married and went with some pretty wild make-up and ended-up not looking like themselves. She color matched my skin perfectly and everything she did really brought out my features. It sounds a little cheesy but I feel like she really made me look like the best version of me - and that's what we want ladies! My hair was just as beautiful. I have really fine hair and Lucy suggested getting clip-in extensions, which I did. Not only did she help me color match but she showed me how to use them myself (for going out or when I want some volume). I love this woman! I would highly suggest calling her and setting-up a consultation if you need make-up and hair for your wedding (or any special event). She is open to suggestions and is very chill and is willing to help and give ideas if/when you need. Highly recommended read more

Lucy is amazing!!! I've got my hair and make up done in the past just a few times for weddings and I never really liked any of it as much as I like Lucy's. She really listens to your needs and adjusts accordingly. I don't wear a lot of make up in my day to day, so when I got my make up done before, it always looked too cakey and too much for me. She does the natural look to perfection and I'm very satisfied with her. She recently did my make up for my e-sess and I got a lot of compliments on my hair and make up. She is also loads of fun to talk to and hang out with for a couple of hours. She makes the time go by fast! I'm looking forward to her doing my hair and make up for my upcoming wedding in May! read more

Lucy-Zayne is AMAZING! She's so sweet, professional, great communicator and most of all, she did the best makeup for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding! I found Lucy-Zayne on yelp, and set up a trial run with her. She asked that I bring photos of the makeup look I wanted, photos of me and my dress, etc. When we met, she was so nice and attentive and really listened to what I wanted. I didn't want to have heavy makeup, but I wanted to look like a glowing bride, which is exactly what she gave me! Once she was done with the trial, she asked if I wanted anything different (darker, lighter, different colors, etc). Everything looked the way I wanted it, so she took notes of what products she used, how she did it, etc. She was wonderful on the day of the wedding! She arrived on time (early in fact), and brought one other woman to assist her since there were 10 of us getting our makeup done. They brought high makeup chairs and went to work! Everyone looked so beautiful! All of my bridesmaids told me how happy they were with their makeup and loved working with Lucy-Zayne. She is so down to earth and professional and really made the makeup part of my day a breeze. My makeup turned out great and looked exactly like it did during out trial and lasted all day (12+ hours). I would recommend her to anyone! She is the best! read more

I can't compliment enough on how impressed I was with Flawless Beauty and my experience. Lucy, has a an amazing talent for style/beauty and colors and seeing her in action you can really tell she loves what she does. She has a one of a kind personality can put anyone at ease with her kindness, professionalism and confidence. My overall experience during the make up/hair session was so relaxed that I felt like I was hanging out with a good friend! When Lucy finished my make up and hair, I could not get over what an amazing job she did! Every loving detail she put into her work shows and my daughter's told me I looked like a princess. My friends and family were amazed by my transformation and I received numerous compliments from everyone. I had to chuckle when everyone kept staring at me and repeatedly saying, "Wow, you look flawless". :-) Never in my wildest dreams could I ever think I could look that beautiful! Thank you Lucy for being a part of a memorable day for me! read more

Flawless Beauty is the best of the best. The talent is absolutely out of this world. I've had the chance to work with Erin Slater twice and Lucy-Zayne twice and each time I am just blown away by their work. Not only are they uber-talented, but they are also amazingly sweet and fun to be around. As I model frequently, I've worked with several makeup artists and hair stylists in the past and no one can compare to these girls...NO ONE! .....seriously, their name says it all....absolutely flawless beauty. read more

Holy cow - these ladies work fast, work wonders and are super talented! I had about 8 bridesmaids doing hair/makeup, my mom for hair/makeup and 4 flowergirls. That's 13 people with the bride! I was worried about the time schedule, but low and behold, these ladies are so organized that I was finished BEFORE call time. My bridesmaids were so happy with their hair/makeup. I believe there were a couple of last minute changes and the Flawless Beauty team were so accommodating and fast, while also creating beautiful outcomes. My mom had bad experiences in the past with hair/makeup artists, so she was hesitant. She was also afraid of having allergic reactions to the makeup. She was also worried that no makeup would be able to conceal the bags under her eyes. But, no fear! Lucy was smart and suggested my mom try out some new makeup before the wedding to ensure she would not have any allergic reactions. She advised her to bring the makeup (foundation) on the wedding day. It's funny because we went to the makeup counter at Nordstroms and the make-over job Nordstrom's did was not good, so my mom was even more worried about a makeup artist on the day of the wedding. But, on the day of the wedding, it all worked out. Erin knew how to cover up my moms eye wrinkles and made my mom feel comfortable and beautiful. My mom hates things on her eyes, but she agreed to try on mini fake lashes. Needless to say, she loved them! Thanks Erin! I say all this in detail because my mom is hard to please and well, she was more than pleased. I, myself could not have been happier. Lucy-Zayne is always striving to do her best. Even though our trial turned out perfectly, at the wedding she had a couple of different suggestions - minor ones, but I loved the changes. Lucy-Zayne is always careful to ask the bride questions, whether she wants more eyeshadow, blush etc. I had her do a trial and I also had her do my makeup for a wedding I was attending. She was always filled with makeup tips, etc. I also had one of my bridesmaids correspond with Lucy-Zayne for the hair/makeup schedule, given I had so many people in my bridal party. She was so responsive on email and was also accommodating to our requests. Most importantly, they added a great addition to the getting ready portion of our day. Erin and Lucy are so cool to be around. Sam was also great - I think she was helping out for the day. This is one area/vendor you do not need to stress about if you hire Flawless Beauty. Oh and they even did the flowergirls' hair. So darling and a nice added touch to the day! Oh and regarding cost. I did a TON of Bay Area research. These ladies are reasonable! read more

Hiring Lucy-Zayne was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! She was professional and responsive - really wanting to make sure I was getting what I needed and that she would be the right fit for me. My trial was great at her in-home studio and because we were a little rushed in trying to get my hair right (I had another appointment that I needed to get to), she offered to have me only pay for the makeup trial instead of the hair. Very thoughtful. The day of the wedding she and Alaina helped get my five bridesmaids, me, and my mom ready for the day. We packed a lot of people in a short timeslot but Lucy-Zayne had us all ready right on time. I couldn't have been happier with my hair and makeup. My hair is notoriously hard to keep up because it is so straight and it lasted all day and night. And my makeup looked like a fancy version of natural - just right because I don't wear much makeup usually. Like others have said, she really listened to me and what I wanted. Hire Lucy-Zayne if you can! You won't regret it, and I'm sure you'll feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. read more

Without having a consultation as to how my hair was going to be done prior to my sister's wedding....Lucy Zayne rocked out a fantastic hair style. Not having any clue as to how I wanted my hair done, I totally trusted her to do anything she wanted. And what she gave me was AMAZING I got so many compliments all night! Not only can Lucy do great hair, but she was super sweet as well. She made getting ready fun and if I lived in SF, she'd be my go to hair girl for sure!!! read more

Flawless Beauty is amazing! Working with Erin was low key, relaxed, and fun! I love the light hearted vibe she gives. As for the makeup, it was fabulous! Very light hand and very quick! The quality mixed with how quick it was done was astonishing! Hair was just as fabulous. My hair does NOT curl....buuut somehow it did! :) Overall I'd say this was one of my best experiences with a hair stylist/MUA and I would DEFINITELY go back again! Lucy did makeup for both me and my sister for her engagement party, and I've never looked so good. This was the first time I had gotten my makeup done professionally and actually loved how it looked. She takes her time, and is a genius with the brush. She also makes you look flawless without being over done. She also has great jokes and keeps you entertained throughout the process. I would give her more than 5 stars if I could!! read more

Lucy did an amazing job on me for my wedding. I didn't even know I could look like that. What made the overall experience easy and great, was how chill and easy going Lucy was. She was super flexible and open to changing anything about my make up if there was anything I didn't like - which is the type of person I needed to have around when I was crazy stressed over the wedding. Overall, I was extremely happy with the results and would definitely recommend booking her for anyone who may be in need of a professional make up artist for any occasion read more

Lucy was a pleasure to work with for my wedding! I don't wear a ton of makeup and wanted to have a more natural look for my wedding, so I wanted to work with someone I could trust to make me look and feel beautiful, yet like myself. The trial gave us the time to try a few different looks and I felt very confident going into the big day. Lucy was patient, professional and always reliable. She did a fantastic job with the moms and bridesmaids and was always flexible, supportive and kind. Highly recommend! read more

Lucy was awesome for my wedding! I hired her for my hair/makeup and for the rest of my bridal party. She was pleasant, responsive, and flexible in the planning up to the event. On the day of, she showed up right on time with her assistant and they did a beautiful job on everyone's hair and makeup, even finishing up earlier than expected so we were ahead of schedule. Lucy also made touch-up kits for each member of the bridal party, which was above and beyond what was expected.
