The restaurant is in a strip mall anchored by a Superstore and fairly new. It's great to see amenities popping up around that area. Parking was plentiful. Walking inside brought you back to the past with a diner type vibe. You line up to order and then sit down and they bring the food to you. You have option of pre-set burgers or build your own with what toppings and sauces you like. They also have combos where you can add a side and drink. My wife decided to get a single build your own cheeseburger so she could customize it. The kids ordered the Classic combo (one with onion rings and vanilla milkshake and the other with fries and Orange Fanta to share). I decided on the haddock. Food was so good. Fries were crisp and moist inside. Onion rings were crunchy. The family thoroughly enjoyed the burgers. The haddock was great but could use a bigger patty (the bun was bigger than the patty). We landed there at 11:15 and got seated right away - NO WAITING if you are early. Bit of a smaller place inside than expected, but they now have outdoor seating and for nice hot days, it's probably where I would request to be seated next time. One cautionary note on the parking if you are using the lot right adjacent to the restaurant. it says you can pay via the PayByPhone App. So we went inside and I tried paying by this app for about 5 minutes. I gave up and went out to use the pay machine. JUST IN TIME - the guy was their taking a picture of my license plate to give me a ticket. I showed him the app issues and told him I was trying to pay by the app and now I was using the machine. He glared at me and said I had 2 minutes to do it and I needed to show him the stub in order to avoid the $75 ticket. So I did this and all was good again. CAUTION: for some reason, this location and app are not good friends and while you are struggling with it, this guy may come by and ticket you. On our way out, we saw a few other cars / trucks that had tickets on their windshields. USE THE MACHINE - it takes credit cards. This is an independent lot not run by Class Clown so they cannot assist. Service: very friendly and efficient. We were seated and served almost immediately and given water while we decided what else we wanted. Everyone was pretty friendly and this place had a great vibe. One thing that struck us is the place is super clean and we liked that the restaurant had sustainability practices in place. For example, there is no garbage - only recycling and compost. All their cups and burger boxes are all compostable. They also provided a water dispenser to fill up your water bottles or compostable cup (provided). I even saw outside they had little bowls so even your furry friends can have water. This restaurant, you order at the counter, they give you a buzzer and when food is ready you pick it up. We had 3 Double Empire burgers with cheese, 1 Empire burger with cheese, and order of fries to share, and a chocolate milk share. Also, took advantage of complimentary water and I dispensed waters for the table. Everything was really fresh and tasted great. Burgers had great flavour and didn't fall apart. The fries were nice and crispy with warm soft center. The milkshake was great and not super sweet albeit a bit small. That just felt like a lazy excuse to not deal with us. When his coworker looked like he was definitely about to take my order. It's frustrating because the rest of the staff has always been great, but this one person consistently treats customers poorly and doesn't seem interested in doing his job. At this point, I'm done. I won't be coming back or spending another dollar here unless something changes. A good business shouldn't let one employee drag down the entire experience like this. It's a bit of a trek from where we leave. The location is in a large strip mall in the deep south. Parking was a little difficult as there are a lot of shops. We managed to find a spot by the bank across from the restaurant. This restaurant layout is quite small with a few tables. You order and then go to your seat. We ordered 2 OG Cheeseburgers, Bacon Double Cheeseburger, High Priest, 2 fries, and a strawberry milkshake. Everything was good. I thought the High Priest could have used more secret sauce. Fries were great. Family ate everything up. While the food was good I'm not sure if we'd be back as it's quite far from where we are and there are lots of burger places in between.
