If you are by the center of town, and like wine, this a great place to go pick up some bottles. Our purchase included a sparkling red, two rieslings (including one produced in North Carolina), a gewürztraminer, and two Cabernet francs. Very excited to uncork these. And the girl behind the counter was lovely and very helpful as she was responsible for going with the NC- based Riesling. And if you buy six bottles, you get 10 percent off, or 15 percent if you buy a case.

Always wished they would open in Vegas. Maybe they will make it out that way someday now that I no longer live there. So I get to come here now! Nothing has changed you still have to put the .25 cents in to get a cart, which is a great idea so carts go back where they belong or someone will return for you and take the quarter :) My Mom told me I needed to get here because they got Lobster in. Well Christmas is at my parents and guess what I bought? 2 Lobster tails for each of us! (Even though my Mom bought a big Ham from here as well) The one thing I like about here is the different items you can find. As well as they sell other gift ideas too in a isle. I bought my under the counter Dvd/ Tv here years ago. After the lobsters I ended up walking out of here spending $100 when I had no plans of buying anything else. There is one cashier that needs to slow down though, I think he is on speed. He literally goes so fast he throws the food in the cart as he rings you up. He says " I got you" if you tell him not to crush anything. I have never seen someone ring so fast, like it's a contest. The women Cashier's have always been very nice. Overall it's not a bad store to get canned goods or produce. They do have a great return policy if your not happy with something you bought there. ( I found those dark covered yummy fruit pieces they are dangerous!!!) {~~ what a good price too! I am sure I will be back again soon. Be ready to bring a box or your own bags, or you can buy bags as well.

Been driving by this place for 2 months and couldn't even really tell it was serving food. The…read moreplace seems to be a former grocery store that has converted to primarily a deli and grill. The sign has faded, and could use an upgrade since I couldn't even tell it was open if not for the cars parked outside. There was a solid working crowd ordering when I walked in. The grocery store itself is just a legacy at this point. Good spice rack selection, but then the next section to stick out is a stack of DVDs and PS3 games beside some soft drinks and chip bags. It seems most customers were ordering cold meats and subs, but I decided to go with the basic burger with mustard and pimento cheese. It was heavenly. It did cost $6, which is a little on the pricy side for Morganton, but I'm happy to have finally stopped by. Definitely a hidden gem, and I'll have to check out the ham or a sub next time I'm visiting.

We're talking some ripe, sweet South Carolina peaches, some just-picked local strawberries, zucchini, beans, cantaloupe, okra ... and on and on. Rows of yummy items, and behind them arrayed on several shelves are jars of honey, jams, preserves and almost anything else you could imagine. The folks running it are most helpful, and they helped assemble a bushel of ripening peaches for our road trip. We were knocked out by what we found her and spent nearly $100 to satisfy our produce desires. We wouldn't be surprised if you do too!

We each ordered individually, but tasted everyone's dish. Beef Tartare: beautifully presented and well balanced. Served with fried saltines (seasoned with Old Bay seasoning). Wood Grilled Asparagus: perfection! Absolutely LOVED the sauce gribiche! Braised Rabbit and Nettle Cavatelli: I thought this dish was stunning. The texture of the cavatelli could not be better and the flavors melded well together. Lardon added savoriness while the pickled ramps balanced the palate. Soft Herb & Pea Risotto: loved this in terms of texture but needed a touch of salt. We added a pinch of their house special salt (mined from a 100 year old salt mine), and it did the trick! Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle: this was my favorite item, though also, requiring a pinch of salt. I really appreciated that the truffle oil did not overpower the dish (that's a pet peeve of mine). We were provided with some truffle salt to enhance savoriness, which absolutely lifted the pasta to another level. Service all around was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in town!

The wines delivered all the flavor notes from this unique region, light and refreshing ready to pour whites and roses. After tasting a member-only red blend '22, I became a member of the 4-bottle club! And I took home the red blend and whites/rose. Moving to Denver, NC from Napa was a stretch and I missed my vineyards and the smell of yeast/fermentation process as an intern at RustRidge.com. Visiting and becoming a member at Euda Wine has me feeling at home again (give or take +2,000 miles). Danielle, a very knowledgeable person, got to know our wine preferences and designed a perfect tasting. We also liked the snacks in their self-serve fridge to pair with the wines. She was so nice to not rush us off since we arrived ten minutes before they closed. She even took a photo of us. It was a great visit and I'm lucky to live not far to visit often. The A/C and fans inside kept us nice and cool - very appreciated after hiking in the heat! Service was great, and we were provided with menus and pitchers of water. The winery offers a few local snacks for purchase like meat sticks, goat cheese, and pimento cheese, and you can also BYOF. The Summer Special tasting was a flight of brut natural, sauv blanc, and rosé. The bartender did a great job describing the wines and background of the winery. I enjoyed them all - they're not as bright and crisp as you may expect, and instead they're a bit more funky. A few of my group tried the wines and didn't enjoy them, so I'd warn that they may not appeal to everyone. The rosé especially reminded us almost of an orange wine. I thought they were interesting and worth a try, but they wouldn't be my everyday go-to/may not pair as well with certain foods. For those who weren't fans of the wine by itself, they did enjoy the blueberry wine slushie - a sweeter crowd-pleaser!
