I went inside and was greeted by a fresh, hip decor and a friendly juicer. I was looking at the menu and instantly found the juice that caught my attention. Placed my order and while talking with the juicer I found out they just opened that day! What's nice about this place is that they bottle their juices. So you can buy more than one and take them to go. They also make smoothies which I am hoping to try next time! The juice I chose was so fresh and delicious! Menu is the same and staff are friendly and my orders were promptly made as it was quiet mid-week day. I tried the Warrior ($7.49 + $1.99 chicken add on) brown rice, corn, red onions, tomatoes, carrots, black beans, cajun spice, ranch dressing. Feels like I am just eating rice and beans so I would not order this again. Ranch dressing didn't give it much flavour either. Any burrito can be made into a bowl so I chose the Tex Mex ($7.99 + $1.99 chicken add on)brown rice, black beans, corn, avocado, aged cheddar, pico de gallo, salsa. This one had more flavour though a bit more cheese and salsa would be better. Overall, I think the Mediterranean bowl is probably the best one I've had so far. Food is like the namesake, it's fresh for sure and you don't feel heavy and weighed down after eating their food. Everything ends up being around $12 or so after tax (if you add a protein) - a tad more than a classic fast food place but obviously much healthier. Loaded means more than one piece of lettuce, with mayo and the rest, and should have a melted piece of cheese on it. A hot dog should be cooked and on a bun that isn't moldy and dry. The works means more than just a hot dog on a bun. Then there are the battered mushrooms. Very very small and very very greasy. We had received 11 tiny mushrooms for 6.50. In years past, this was a great place at which to eat and hang out. Now, it seems to be an excuse to have a business and try to make as much money as possible on bad food, bad service, and bad work ethics. We weren't impressed. We have many friends who live, and visit Winnipeg Beach, Matlock, and Gimli. We won't be recommending this place to any of them. We will definitely not be back either.

Should I get bubble tea from here or should I wait till I get to Collections Outlet Winnipeg and hit my beloved Chatime? Decisions, decisions! I had never been here, so I said yes. I was already parked steps away, so I might as well grab something to drink on a hot summer day. I walked in. It was busy. There were a couple of folks waiting for their tea. I was in line to place my order with a couple of other folks in front of me. My go-to drink at CoCo is a large strawberry black tea (no sugar and less ice) with coconut jelly. It has been the case for a few years. I love it. Chunks of real strawberry. Chewy coconut jelly. Strong black tea. Some ice. Refreshing! I was taking photos. A woman waiting in line was watching. Sadly, I caught her staring into my camera in one of my photos. Ugh! She ended up thinking to herself that taking photos while she was waiting for her drink was a good idea and went crazy. That's okay joining in on the photo-taking fun. It just seemed a bit weird. Maybe I'm just a trendsetter... NOT! Luckily, she got her drink. She took a photo of it and left. I placed my order with the nice woman behind the counter. I also signed up for CoCo rewards. The Ontario and Manitoba CoCo rewards programs are separate. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I then waited for my drink to be made. This CoCo is spacious. It has plenty of seats and tables to sit down and enjoy your bubble tea. My tea was ready. I thanked the man who made it, wished both staffers a great day, and headed to my vehicle. My bubble tea was consistent with how it's made at various CoCo places within the greater Toronto area. It hit the spot. I got my strawberry black tea fix, complete with the best coconut jelly. I drank my tea on my way to parking at the outlet. I walked around the outlet sipping it.
