He then drove very fast & carelessly. The amount shown was $48 but he charged us $58. I asked why & he said because it was a van which did not make any sense as we had a ride a week before in a van with another taxi company & we were only charged $44. He was very rude when I asked him to explain & he repeatly said "it's a van". It was a terrible end to our long day after travelling for 18 hours. After placing the call, the patron was outside waiting when two other cabs arrived to drop off some patrons. By the time your driver showed up , the fare was gone... the driver then told us to eff off !!! and drove away. Look.. yes we called your service.. but we can not and do not control the actions of our patrons. They see a cab , they jump in... we cant tell them its not their cab. Anyway... being told to eff off has left me with a bad experience and I will never call your service again for anyone- even if the patron requests it , I will tell them there are better cab drivers. I've been using them since they began local operation decades ago and took a ride with driver Ben this morning. Even though I had not given their dispatch the amount of notice I normally would, Ben was at the pick-up location before me, he was courteous and polite, and I'd gladly request him by name in the future. Prestige might not be the least expensive option but they have large, clean SUVs (Ben drives a shiny new, black Escalade) , sedans and limos, all operated by dedicated, professional drivers. These are the sort of very knowledgeable, experienced drivers who make you glad you opted for their company. You can expect a flawless trip, every time!

I called Grove taxi as I was in town for vehicle repairs. when I asked the driver why this company showed up he became very rude and sped away. I now understand what happened as I've become aware that this company was able to reroute all calls to Grove taxi to themselves. I will never use a company with such shady business practices. This was copied and pasted from my google review 9 months ago. The owner replied stating my review was fake hence my edit below in response to his reply. Edit: I expected you to do such a reply. I didn't get into your cab because I didn't call your company but yet your cab arrived. I didn't want to become another MMIW statistic. Anytime you have a negative review you claim fake. I've read all of your "reviews" they are almost word for word identical. So my question is do you offer a discount to your customers for positive reviews or at the very least a cue card to follow for your "honest reviews"
