Since the issue was temporarily resolved, I agreed it was fine for Jeremy to assess the appliance 2 days later as it was not an emergency. He was very knowledgeable and determined that the transformer heat was out of spec but didn't need to be fixed. While he was here I asked about a range hood drip pan I was having issues with and he gave me solid advice to pass along to our builder. I appreciated his honesty and wouldn't hesitate to call him again if this or any other appliance needed to be fixed.

I called and he made an appointment for the next day between 12-2. He texted me the next morning he was on the way and it was 10:50 and would be to my home in 35 minutes. He had his mask on when he got here, and went to assessing the problem. Turns out I had a faulty water valve. He quoted me a price for parts and labor, then got to work. In a short time the job was done, and he was ready to go. It was great that he was able to see us the next day, and he was early. He completed his job quickly and so far my ice maker working great. Within an hour Larry called and said it probably is not a gasket but he would come by and check to be sure before ordering the part. He was not sure when he would be able to come by (same day or next) but would call first. Larry came by in a couple of hours and confirmed it was not a bad gasket. He determined I had replaced the door shelves incorrectly and over time it caused the door not to seal. Once they were put in the correct position the door sealed like a charm. Instead I had to buy a chest freezer to buy time for LG to take a month to fix thier 7 year old fridge's faulty compressor design. 5 Aug 2025 update: The LG rep came yesterday and I was impressed with his knowledge and skill. The scheduling was a little challenging, but Dalton the tech fix my LG fridge the same day. He had a compressor on his truck. LG said the flat fee servicing was for thier fridges that are less than 10 years old. After that period I can use All Pro to keep my fridges running.
