Stay away from these incompetent, insensitive and greedy people ! On 7-21-21 I came there to have 2 pairs of new pants let out and hemmed. The tailor, an elderly Hispanic looking woman measured one pair on me, and then I told her to do the same for the other pants. The so called manager, a young white guy, put the charges in the computer, which came out to $47.61. I was shocked at the high price, but decided to let them do the work. On 7-26-21 I returned to pick up the pants and didn't think I had to try them on to test them. After I got home I found that one of the pants was never hemmed. On 7-30-21 I went back there furious, and the tailor acted like it wasn't her fault because the instructions were not on the ticket. The manager acted like it wasn't his fault either. They both were guilty parties in this. The manager failed to put the correct instructions on the ticket, and the tailor wasn't smart enough to realize that one pair was 6 inches longer than the other pair ! The tailor tells me to come back another day and tells the manager to make another ticket to charge me an additional $12.84 ! I went off there telling them both that I drove 5 miles to get to them, and now I'm being told to come back a 4th time to pick up pants that weren't done right. I demanded the pants to be done right then. The tailor acted like she could care less, and wouldn't do the pants while I waited. Instead, she tells me to get some coffee an come back in an hour ! Then the manager writes up a new ticket to charge me an additional $12.84 ! I walked out ready to scream. On 7-31-21 I went back there to pick up my pants, for the 4th time. I told this manager that after what they did to me, the pants should have been done when I waited, and I should not be charged anymore for my troubles. He acted like it wasn't his fault and refused to waive the charge for the $12.84. Another idiotic thing about this place - the tailor is only there on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 - 3 PM. If you go there any other time, the staff will not hem up your pants or do anything to let the tailor know what to do. You have to go there when this tailor is there to get that service. I never saw this in any tailoring place. Wherever I went, whoever was at the counter was competent enough to pin up anything for the tailor. I only went to this place because someone I know recommended it, and I found out by phone that they were a few dollars cheaper on hemming. The were also 3 miles father away from my house than my regular place. Not worth the few dollars of savings at all. You have one incompetent after another working there. Stay away from this horrible rip off place. There is a dry cleaner / tailor at Military and Boynton Beach Blvd. that I have gone to for over 12 years, and I never had a problem there. Since they were understanding, I have decided to amend the review from 1 Star to 4 Stars. -------Break------(Initial Review)------ If a Dry Cleaners advertises it is the #1 Dry Cleaners in Palm Beach County, then the location should be able to handle an increase in business. My coworker and I tried to rush a military service uniform (shirt and slacks) for a two-three day turnaround, and we both were willing to pay extra for rush service, and we were turned away. I stated I was willing to pay double the cost. I have used this dry cleaners for over three years which included over two thousand dollars at this location. My coworker and I were very disappointed to be turned away. The Operations Manager needs to review their labor and services to handle an increase in services, especially advertising "the Best in Palm Beach County." We both found new dry cleaners--I recommend Cost Less Dry Cleaners off Jog Road. It is unlikely I will return to Flash Cleaners after three years of valued service and expenses. Again, I am very disappointed at Flash Cleaners-you cannot dry cleaners four pieces of clothing at an extra charge in two days...shameful! read more

Flash Cleaners has been my one and only cleaners for the past eleven years since I moved to Florida. I recently moved to St. Augustine Florida where I researched 11 dry cleaners only to find out everyone of them send all their services out to Jacksonville Florida with a turn around of TWO weeks. Since I am visiting Lake Worth once a month I now bring my dry cleaning with me where Austin and his fabulous staff have it ready for me in by 10am back by 4pm. How wonderful. If your looking for alterations... GO HERE!! My review is a little late, but allow me to tell you to look no further! Trust me ... I've tried a lot of them and not to be shy nor exaggerate, it felt more like family than business but still absolutely professional!! I had multiple pairs of pants and jeans altered so I spent a significant amount of time there fitting each one on to perfect the cut. I called the cleaners for alteration services. The representative that answered the phone was very nice and professional she gave me the hours for the seamstress. I called back later to speak to the seamstress. to have a dress altered and I needed it in two days and asked if I could come in ASAP she SAID UES AND accommodated me as soon as I got there she took my measurements and made me feel welcome. You can go just about anywhere for dry cleaning and somewhat expect the same outcome. However, Flash Cleaners not only does a great job consistently, but has excellent customer service.
