This car wash is pretty good. It's expensive, but I noticed that it actually leaves the car clean and shiny, compared to many other places that don't do a good job cleaning, or leave soap or residue behind. I've tried the budget wash and the expensive one and feel that generally the cheap one does fine and the rest feels like mostly an up sell. You can tell there's totally a difference in quality with the expensive washes, but maybe with a diminished return. I think the expensive ones can be approximately 3x the price, but you definitely don't get 3x the wash/shine/cleanliness/value. Staff are there to help with payment which is convenient when you are too far away to reach the kiosk. The day I went, the machine was finnicky with reading my chip card and had to try my card a few times. The vacuums work well although can be extremely crowded on busy weekend days. It's a bit chaotic getting in and out of the vacuum area because cars use it as a "two way street". Would be better if it was one way. Overall not a bad stop. read more

I was due for a car wash and figured I'd stop here on my way home from work. After running through the Gold Wash option ($18.00). My car still had bird poop marks on my windshield and back windows, my windshield also had dried wiper washer fluid on the edges, and the side mirrors looked spotty to say the least. I was towards the end of the wash with a car in front and behind me, the machine stopped for a few minutes and then resumed. Two out of four of the vacuum hoses I grabbed actually worked. This place was great when they first opened, but now I will look elsewhere to wash my car- or follow the saying "If you want something done right, do it yourself". read more

I have the monthly car wash deal which works out well whenever I feel like driving to Johnston. Depending on how you define "flash" hold onto your bucket seats because you could be in for a long wait. During rush hour the line to get through the gates moves at a pace that makes the continental drift seem like a NASCAR race. I recommend you pack a picnic and start writing your memoirs titled "The Great Queue" while you're waiting. By the time you roll through those gates you'll have aged like a fine wine or smelly aged cheese. Let's talk about the flashy wash features. I'm on the cheap side so I get the least expensive deal and with that I don't get the acid trippy psychedelic light journey that I've gotten at other car washes. It's also a hit or miss wash - sometimes my car comes out clean, other times it's spotty and I don't know why. There is a beacon of hope: the vacuum system. With the suction power of a vacuum cleaner on steroids, it devours everything. It's the one aspect of The Flash Car Wash that truly sucks... in the best way possible. This car wash opened up just a few months ago in Cranston. Because it's so close to where I live I decided to purchase an unlimited wash package. There are 3 options to choose from, the first being a basic wash, the 2nd (which is what I cHose) offers a little more such as wheel bright and a better wax. The cost is $24 a month. What's also great is that they offer Free vacs and there's a whole bunch of them so there's waiting . The fact that thIs place is so new means all the machinery works great. I've been to other carwashes where my side view mirrors always end up getting pushed in once I go through the wash. There are always attendants outside to guide your car through. To whomever wants to listen, From the top down this is an awfully ran location. I had an unfortunate conversation with a separate manager. After running through a Gold ($18.00) Wash, my car still had old bird poop marks and light dirt on the surface of my mirrors; as well just didn't get everything that usually these machines do easily. I needed at least an additional rinse. I suggested while getting back in line to the Supervisor- I didn't need another Gold that if I may simply run a basic through again. I was instantly denied as I am "Not a Member" The (alleged) Supervisor said my car was clean and proceeded to wave me off to back up out of line. This was quite rude for an immediate response to my issue. Not to be rude to this person but this was a business matter, so I asked for someone else. He proceeded to grab his badge, show me his name that was in small letters under his barcode to scan his badge I'm guessing? After this maneuver from him, I knew I was not talking to leadership nor management so I asked for someone else to talk to again. He turned away and began to ignore as I sat there awkwardly. At that moment was when I placed the phone call - while in line. I was not necessarily sweet to this specific manager as I was just ignored by his entire staff. He understood and began the proper resourcing to get connected to the correct Locations' Management. Yes, this took separate management to be able to fix. From what I'm reading in this Locations History, it sounds like bad Leadership is at the top here. This car wash is a joke! I purchased a monthly pass. Sometimes I go there and my car is dried, other times not. Some components work in this car wash and others don't. It's never consistent. Most importantly, my car is not clean when I leave. The lower portion of my vehicle is filthy along both sides of the vehicle. I've mentioned this to the personnel and showed them the vehicle after the wash. After several months, I've decided that I will cancel this monthly pass and go elsewhere to get my vehicle cleaned. I wanted this to work, but it just isn't worth it. I'm moving to Freeway Car wash. They have a similar monthly plan. I know that when I go there, my vehicle leaves clean. read more

This car wash was a nice place to get your vehicle washed. Since the manager left or possibly changed ownership, it is going downhill.. Most employees are a joke. All they do is kid around with each other and socialize ! they don't know how to use the computers on the machines did operate getting in and out. If you ask him what's wrong, they don't answer more than likely they have a hard time understanding the language I talking, which is English or they pretend they don't understand ! Very sad to see such a good operated business go downhill so fast and I don't believe I am wrong. I saw their ratings and reviews over the last six months. Was going to give this place only 1 star because they do not take responsibility of damaging actual body work on your car. Every time my family uses it, it folds the license plate up like a taco. This time, it ripped off the plate along with the piece of bumper it was screwed into. It has also knocked out brake lights and ripped off mirrors. I gave them an extra star because of all of their free services and staff that helped me retrieve the ripped off license plate. Please actually enforce the No Loud Music rule, and it would be nice if they enforced a one way at the vacuums as people often get stuck with no where to go and need to back up. Also many accidents with people not looking. Maybe if I need a free vacuum or a dust bath from the carpet beater, I'd go back. But my family and I will be washing our cars ourselves from now on. read more

Never again. The number of times that I had to click "No, a single car wash" or "No, I don't want to save" or "No, I'm sure I only want a single car wash" was so irritating that I will never go here again. There are plenty of other car washes with free vacuums that don't try to gaslight me out of an additional $4 while I'm literally trying to give them $20 and move on with my day. @ Flash Car Wash do not take this out on the staff person working there. What a joke u start out being told u can use all 3 car washes they own I stop at Johnston the computer tells me to update my credit card so I do thinking the system needed to be updated come to find out I'm being charged for 2 unlimited monthly plans they should tell the customer if the story changes after u agree to something so all 3 of there locations charge separate joke I rather pay 20 everytime I get my car wash at any other car wash besides these crooks. As I mentioned in my review, I went to someone who was working at the car wash that day and explained what the problem was with another customer. He came over and spoke with her and they were both laughing. She continued harassing me and the situation became worse. I haven't been back since and never will! There are other Flash Car Washes in RI I have used since. If I could give this particular location 0 stars, I would. The fact that he said some things are beyond their control doesn't sit well with me. As I mentioned, the customer and employee were laughing and things became worse. I only post a negative about a business when I get pissed. I just went to the car wash. I stopped my monthly membership because I wasn't using it enough. I just paid $20 for a car wash. When I went to vacuum the handicap spots yet again were taken by people who don't even have a sticker. I said something to the guy before I went through. I told him it was best that he said something before I got there because I probably wouldn't say it nicely. When I get there and they still are taken. The guy who I assume is an owner or a manager told me to go to a different spot. He says they are all the same. Well no they are not because only two have a handicap sign on it. But I backed into the spot he told me. As I was vacuuming I went to go use the air hose to blow the floor while I vacuum. It was missing so I called him over and he told me somebody stole it well that's not my problem. I explained to him that if I was in the spot I was supposed to be in I would have it there. He continued to tell me that The one on the other side would reach. I told him I was not gonna stretch it around my car. He told me that it wouldn't rub up against my car which it would. If it scratched it they wouldn't be responsible. I paid $38000 for my car I am not going to stretch stretch a hose around my car when I shouldn't have to Especially when he allows people to park there because it would lose money for the business to leave it available for handicapped people. They recently opened a new Flash Car Wash on Warwick Ave, Warwick and I saw a Free Carwash sign - thought I'd give it a try. Coming out of the wash/garage I noticed my drip rail trim had been knocked off during the wash. I showed the attendant, who fixed it. I told him I wasn't accustomed to my car pieces being damaged by car washes. Then I pointed out the water drop markings (usually from dirty water) all over my car. His response? "This is a much more powerful, bigger car wash - you must be used to the smaller car washes". Uh, em, OK. Guess I'm gonna continue going to the "smaller" guy, because I like my car in one piece and actually clean. read more

Went through the silver car wash. My car was badly scratched in three places on the passenger side by one of the rotating brushes. I spoke to the manager, Walter, that my car was scratched badly and showed him. You could tell it was fresh scratched. He denied any wrongdoing, told me it was someone who hit my car, and refused to help. Now I'm out my money, with a damaged car, and with a lot of work in front of my to repair the damage. This car wash is fantastic. Well staffed well organized very clean and the attendants are very concerned with providing you with a good experience. I bought the unlimited monthly car wash and it's a great deal. The vacuums are great and provide lots of suction. They even have air nozzles at each vacuum station. It's like before they built it they owners said " okay let's build thE perfect car wash. As a suggestion for customer improvement, the vacuums are over run with " freeloaders " ie people who don't wash their cars or at not members... yes I checked. There should be some procedure where members or car wash customers only , are allowed to use the vacuums. Not fair as a Monthly member paying 35 a month has to drive away because the vacuums are busy with non customers read more

I pay monthly for my car wash. The most expensive. Great washes, fast in and out. Just frustrating when you pay monthly for this service and expect a vacuum after but can't get one when the lot is full. Most of the time it's people who are not members. They're just taking the free vacuum in their advantage. Their should be something equipped to identify members or atleast pay for a wash first! I don't like the set up. read more
