I've been boxing (training) elsewhere for a while and decided to give Paul and Flash a chance this last weekend. It was my 1st trial and I learned more here than in other locations in the LA area that I have been to. Paul was patient and seemed cognizant of what he was teaching me about boxing basics. This boxing gym has recently expanded!!! It is now equipped with 2 bathrooms, 2 rings, and many more boxing bags! Whether you come in to just try boxing, or to train for your next fight, the trainers here are knowledgeable and helpful, and they will take care of your training needs. They now offer drinks (water, Powerade....), and have a vending machine within the gym. They also have some shirts on sale which you can see like parts of the wall as well. There are more parking spots as well, as the gym now has reign over the spots that used to belong to the business towards which they took over the space off during the expansion. The owners are so friendly and knowledgable! The trainer Jorge Diaz (former pro boxer) is very hands on and makes you feel important, even if you aren't training to be a professional fighter (and there are plenty that come in or train). The gym is very well kept and clean. The bathroom and shower are AMAZING for any gym. This is by far one of the best boxing gyms ever. The owner Jorge is an amazing coach as well as all of the other coaches. Although Jorge will scream at you from time to time(on a daily basis) he's an excellent coach and he knows what he's doing. My sister recommended this gym to my husband and I. We started at the end of January with a goal to get stronger. I definitely saw a difference in my strength after 2 weeks. Everyone there is very nice. I mainly saw teenaged boys, who by the way were very polite, but I also saw the youngest little man at 6yrs of age and once an older man who was probably in his 60s. Regardless of age, Jorge will put you to work! Our experience was great. Had to stop going this month, but hoping to get back to hitting the bags in a few months. First let me start off by saying how much I love this Gym!!! I was driving by and saw the sign outside, so I decided to Google it . I was a bit scared because it was a Boxing Gym which typically means men's only but when I called Andrea (one of the owners) answered the phone. She was very nice and professional. I explained to her that I wanted to loose weight and tone my arms. She made me feel very comfortable that I forgot boxing was mainly for men.She told me i was going to be in good hands and asked me to call Jorge "kid Flash" who is the head trainer. Jorge is one of the best trainers I have met. The workouts are amazing and the dedication he puts in training each person is the best. I love this Gym and for the price and "one on one" training I receive I would not trade it for any other gym. This is my 3rd week going and I will not stop coming. I feel amazing after each workout.I have been to other gyms and boot camps, etc and I give up the first week. Today after I finished working out Paul one of the owners asked me how i was feeling and Thanked me for coming to the gym.
