The food here isn't that great to be perfectly honest: a selection of paninis, quiches, roasted veggies. I mean, it's good, but not 4 star worthy.
So why four stars? Because, Flapjacks invests everything it makes back in the company to hire developmentally challenged adults to give them an opportunity to work and a chance to learn life skills. Walking in, most of the servers had noticiable physical or mental disabilities, but they were seriously THE nicest servers I've ever had. Period.
I shall make it a point to go here for work lunch because this is the sort of no effort help I can give and feel good about myself, even if I haven't done much but spend £3 on a sandwich. It's £3 that's gone to people that need/deserve it and not Sainsbury. read more
