As far as chains go, I've never had a bad experience with any of their locations. The staff here are friendly, informative and fast. The place is impeccable clean, and even with the dark motif, inviting. Music is clear and present, but not overly so. Conversation comes easy. My food was fresh and prepared perfectly. Lots of flavor and cleanly presented. My salad was crisp and had just the right amount of everything to make it enjoyable, especially on a day as warm as today. The chicken, that was my entrée, was tender and juicy and the fries were crispy as could be, without being overdone. I've been to this location over 100x since they opened 20 years ago. It's consistently good food and service. If there is a hiccup, it's with the service. For the newbies I HIGHLY RECOMMEND their lunch specials, best deal in town! And of course their rack of baby back ribs are perfect every time. Such a disappointment. We were at expo and wanted a hamburger...with all the choices nearby we chose Flanny's knowing it's consistent across the board and we could count on a quality burger. Did not happen. The meat was dried out and the bun was one of the worst buns we've had on a burger. We even asked for a new one but that wasn't better. We asked the server if they've changed breads recently; it was that bad. Both the burger and fries just seemed like they had been sitting around for a while. I'm not ever in that area so I would never go back there anyway but it's turned me off to Flanagans for a while, that's for sure. read more

Flanigans in Wellington lost a point from me for cleanliness... I'm sure the restaurant has been open for years, but it smells like a college bar when you sit in your booth and everything just had an ick factor for me. The pepper shaker was clogged and had to be opened at the top to be used. Now for what they do do right... this is a fun place. I loved that all the fish on the walls were wearing Santa hats. Four of us had ribs and they truly couldn't have been better. My sister ordered the ($16.99) Dolphin/mahi mahi and it was the thinnest fillet we've ever seen, so she was a bit disappointed. Everything else was great. The prices are also good here. This is definitely a family restaurant. Our family who are Floridians eat here regularly so that says a lot too. I do recommend Flannigans... I just wish they'd take a week and steam clean the entire place. I forgot to take photos of our food, but there are so many photos of ribs I doubt mine would have added anything new. read more

Worst hostess staff, lying about wait times. Waited over 20 mins on a Thursday at 7;30 with tons of open tables.

We had a very bad experience today between the food and the service. It will be a while before we return. After waiting more than 40 minutes for our food, what was served and what was ordered didn't match up, a Well done cheeseburger was barely Medium. The Medium Well burger was Well done +++, it was so dry I don't think my dog would enjoy eating it. The requested "hot" and well done fries were not only cold and less than lukewarm, they were also barely cooked. It took another 20 minutes for the corrected food order. The manager was not helpful in regard to compensation; the entire meal should have been comped imho. The server was almost nonexistent to the point that we left money on the table because we were tired of waiting for our check. Spending one and one half hour+ at Flannigans for a lunch meal that should not have taken more than 45-60 minutes is unacceptable. read more

The entire meal was prepared within 25 minutes, including the burger and New York strip steak, which were both cooked to perfect medium. More like 3 1/2 stars.... They were packed on a Saturday night. There was an hour wait for a table, so we decided to sit at the bar. We found two seats by luck. Considering they were so busy, we had very good service from the bartenders and staff. We both got their seafood gumbo. This was slightly spicy, but just ok. There were a couple soggy shrimp in my soup and a few fish chunks. I've had better at another Flanigan's location. I had a burger for my "main". It was cooked as ordered. For my side, I tried their pasta salad. If you like black olives, you'll like this as much as I did. My husband had a Caesar salad and an order of garlic rolls. The Caesar was huge and filling. It was a "chopped" Caesar salad. We'd definitely come back here. I'm a fan of their "famous" ribs and like their wings, too. read more

Horrible horrible experience, as a customer all I received is excuses from the manager Dorian....the service was extremely slow, I sat at the bar had dinner and prior to my dinner being finished I placed a take out order which took almost 45 minutes to come out. When I asked for a manager Dorian was extremely rude stating it's nothing she can do she can't be everywhere; she had to send staff home, she can't check on the kitchen to see what's taking orders so long.
