My friends and I make it a point to get together once a month for cigars, a cold drink, dominoes,…read moreand a healthy amount of smack talk about sports and the good old days. We rotate locations to keep it fair, and last month brought us to Doral. We started at a cigar shop, wandered into Sports Grill Doral... and never left. At first glance, it feels like a classic sports bar. But spend a little time there and you realize it's operating on a different level. The food is outstanding, the beer selection is strong (especially if you're into IPAs), every major game is covered across wall-to-wall screens, and they even have a DJ on certain nights. What really sets it apart is the service. The manager, Manny, and his team created an experience that felt intentional, not transactional. When they saw we wanted to play dominoes, they didn't hesitate. They set us up with a proper table on the terrace so we could enjoy cigars, order cocktails, and settle in for the night without feeling rushed. That level of awareness and flexibility is rare. If you're in the Doral area and want a place that delivers on food, drinks, atmosphere, and experience, this is it. Whether you're catching a game or running a few rounds of dominoes, this spot earns a return visit.

Pls get your info right if you really don't reserve is not right to aleatory reserve tables for some people. Second the only table available was under the tv so we couldn't see and there was a whole other section "closed" where they were not seating people until we had to ask as few time, so not good on service and organization. When we could finally seat at a table to enjoy the game things improved a little, servers were friendly but you can feel the place is not organized, we really didnt even know who was really serving us, we kept asking to whoever walked by for things. The food took long and honestly food was ok nothing impressive, I would rather eat at any other sport bar nearby or even a franchise for burgers or chicken. The only thing I really liked was the margarita, perfectly made and very delicious (not made with mix but the real thing!) so cheers for that!

The ribs are hands down some of the best I've had--super tender, fall-off-the-bone, and packed with that perfect sweet and smoky flavor. You can tell they're cooked low and slow because every bite just melts. And the nachos? Next level. Loaded with toppings, fresh ingredients, and not skimpy at all. Every chip actually gets some love--no sad, plain chips at the bottom. Perfect balance of cheese, meat, and crunch. Great portions, great flavor, and honestly one of those spots you keep coming back to. Definitely worth it. Thank you JOE

I rarely leave reviews, but the experience we had at Flanagan's in Miramar was honestly one of the…read moreworst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We originally put our name on the waitlist to eat inside. The staff offered us outdoor seating so we accepted it, thinking it would be fine. Unfortunately, by the time our food arrived (around 6:35-6:40 pm), the bugs started coming out. And when I say bugs, I mean a lot of them. It got to the point where they were constantly landing on the table and the food. Half of the people at our table couldn't even finish their meals because the bugs were so bad. We asked if it would be possible to move inside, but the restaurant was completely full and they couldn't accommodate us. So we basically had to sit there swatting bugs while trying to eat. To make matters worse, my burger wasn't great to begin with. They forgot the extra pickles I ordered and didn't bring ketchup or mustard. By the time I was finally able to get the condiments and the missing pickles, my food was already cold. At that point it just wasn't worth eating anymore. I do want to say that the waitress herself did an outstanding job. She was attentive and polite, and none of this seemed to be her fault. The issue appeared to be with whoever prepared the food and the overall situation with the outdoor seating. But overall, the experience was just really unpleasant. Between the bugs, the incorrect order, and the food getting cold while trying to fix it, it ruined the whole meal. My honest advice to anyone going to this Flanagan's location: do not sit outside because if you do then call it flynigans.

The fish I order was supposed to be grouper, but it was very thin, and it was covered in a sauce with cheese that was overcooked as the cheese was not soft and melty, but rather dried and firm. We went back a second time because the pizza looked good. It was not as good as it looked, and the pizza sauce tasted sweet, so not to our party's liking. The warm rolls with butter were really good, and the burrata salad was also good. The atmosphere is lovely, but can get quite loud. If you like yelling over your meal to your table companions, there is live music playing on the weekends. I will say that the staff was very cordial. We were greeted at the door by friendly hosts, and every server who waited on us was also very nice and attentive.

One of them is 1910 Restaurant & Bar, a Spanish-inspired restaurant that blends premium steaks, seafood, and a little theatrical flair without losing sight of flavor. The meal opened with an order of Cheese Balls, crisp golden spheres that reminded me of pão de queijo, except they skipped most of the bread and focused almost entirely on the cheese. The exterior shattered pleasantly, giving way to a molten, creamy center. Paired with a pineapple sauce, each bite balanced sweet and salty in exactly the right proportions. My wife ordered the Australian Wagyu Flap Sirloin, a 12-ounce cut grilled over charcoal and served with house-made chimichurri. It was everything you hope Wagyu will be, deeply beefy, wonderfully tender, and rich without becoming overwhelming. The chimichurri added brightness without stealing the spotlight. Then came the dish that first caught my attention. The La Reina de la Casa, or "Queen of the House." At first glance, it almost feels designed for social media, a cheese pizza crowned with an enormous grilled octopus. I would be lying if I said that presentation didn't influence my order. Fortunately, this wasn't style over substance. The pizza itself stood on its own with a crisp crust and generous layer of bubbling cheese. The octopus, however, was the reason to order it. It was expertly grilled, tender without a hint of chewiness, and seasoned with a spice blend the server politely described as the chef's secret. Whatever was in that seasoning deserved to remain a secret, because it transformed an already well-cooked octopus into something memorable. Dessert brought things back to the classics with a crème brûlée. The sugar crust cracked cleanly beneath the spoon, revealing a silky vanilla custard underneath. Simple, elegant, and exactly the ending the meal needed. 1910 could have leaned heavily on flashy presentations and premium ingredients. Instead, it paired both with thoughtful execution. That's a far more difficult trick to pull off. Some restaurants earn attention because they're photogenic. The best ones earn repeat visits because the food is every bit as impressive as the photos.
