God I hate to even do this because ever since I was a kid Flanigans has been my favorite place to eat I mean I can say I've been to every location and go to my home location at least 2 times a week but after my recent experience at this location I can honestly say I was mortified. I'll start with my appetizer , we ordered the nachos with no jalapeño and no beans also no pick because somebody at out table was allergic. When we get the nachos they have beans jalapeño and pico we send it back to the kitchen to get a new one prepared and they literally just pulled the jalapeños and pico off brining the dish back still containing beans . We decided to ignore it and place our dinner order , I ordered the lemon chicken pasta and my husband ordered the ribs with broccoli and baked potato. MY CHICKEN WAS RAW! I mean RAW ! And when I told my waiter about it they asked me if I was sure! AM I SURE I JUST BIT INTO A RUBBERY SLIMEY RAW PEICE OF CHICKEN YES IM SURE !!! My husbands ribs where fine the potato was fine but the broccoli was over done and dry (looked like it had been sitting out) in just honestly shocked as to my experience. This is an especially good Flanigan's with great service and short wait . The baby back ribs are absolutely delicious and come in just a little while . The starters and drinks come almost immediately after your seated. The ribs also come with sides and the fries are great . Would totally recommend for any family gathering or friends. Usually Flanigan's is an awesome place to go for food and drinks and this time was no exception the food was great the gripe that I'm having is that we ordered the food to go (we called it in) and they never told us of a $4.25 charge for a service fee. Luckily at least for me $4.25 is not a big deal so I figured let's pay for it and get our food and we will contest it later. We did and the manager for this location flat out told us no and to call corporate. I think that this is just something that they've come up with at the corporate level to make up for some of the loses that they've had over all the COVID-19 pandemic and I kind of applaud them for coming back but if this is the way that they're going to treat their patrons(charging them a bogus charge for a non service)then I just won't be ordering take out from them I'll wait until they're able to be fully ope with no restrictions and if they're still around then I'll enjoy their food again. By the way on Friday my wife actually went to another location with her sister and niece and she got a meal for me to go and she wasn't charged for this service fee. So apparently this only applies to to-go orders. I don't understand the charge simply because there's no special service for to-go orders. I mean you order it, they make it, they package it, you show up, you pay for it, and they hand it to you. That's it nothing else. read more

I had a terrible experience in this Flanigans! the girl that was working at the bar area didn't want to serve my friend and I just because she didn't want to! her name is Amelia, she was working at the bar area! we (my friend and I) just ordered a fried mozzarella and two glasses of water while we were waiting! she was with a bad attitude, she didn't want to serve us (may be because we are not guys and we weren't ordering a lot) she asked for our ids (I don't know why she was asking for our ids to get a fried mozzarella to go!! excuses!) we talked to the manager (Lou) but she was protecting this girl saying that she was right! that we must be over 21 (we are!) to stay in the bar area ( we explained that it was just for the mozzarella and water and my friend showed her id from florida! anyways the hostess michelle helped us and gave us a table close the bar area, the manager brought some plates gave us the fried mozzarella to eat there (when it was to go) and we realized that the girl that brought the fried mozzarella was also working at the bar area (Diana) so then we found out the rude girl just didn't want to serve us and that's it, this is the last time I order something in this flanigans! Horrible service We got to the restaurant on Sunday me and mi husband. Just a couple before us in line. There was no one to greet us but I manage to look for someone I got in touch with the manager Jack I think was his name. Told him we needed a table for two. He told us to wait. Suddenly people stater to arrive and the hostess showed up. Took care of the line. Happened that the so called manager did not write my name down nowhere so like three people that arrive after us got a table before us. I spoke to the hostess and she was kind enough to say that my wait was to be 45 minutes. So I went in to look for the manager and what a surprise. Robert the manager on duty was extremely rude. Our party of 7 was seating in a booth that looked like it would seat 4 max. When our wonderful server Yulian tried getting us a bigger table. Robert ignored our waitress and sat a new group that had just walked in. I would've given this location a 5 star but Robert made our night crappy. Is it a chain? Yes. Do I care? HELL NO! I freaking love Flanigans. Its a simple South Florida chain and it's delicious. To be honest, I don't think I've ever had a bad meal there. The quality of the food can be inconsistent though. One day the ribs are tender and delicious, another day they'll have a hard crusty skin thats hard to tear through, but that doesn't bug me much. Flanigans is a staple to many native south Floridians. We all know of it. I love everything I have ever eaten there. The ribs, fried shrimp, nachos, wings, fries, garlic rolls, burgers, lemon chicken pasta, philly cheesesteak, giuseppis pasta, they've all been so great. I would however skip on their steaks. I've actually never tried it, but it seems to be nothing to spend your money on. Just stick with the ribs and burgers. Their bbq sauce is freaking awesome. The perfect blend of sweet and tangy. I put it on everything. I wish they would sell it in bottles like Tony Romas does with their sauce. People complain about it looking dirty, and it kind of does, but it's actually not. The interior decor is suppose to look like an old salty fishermans boat, so it has the appearance of being dirty, but it's really not. It also stays open really late. I think the kitchen closes at 1, but the bar stays open really really late. So, why 4 stars and not 5? The service isn't the best. It can be very slow and disorganized especially during the lunch and dinner rush. Also, as much as I love their ribs, they could be a little more meatier. And if you go in for takeout, best of luck. Everytime I order pick up, I get there and it can take 20-30 minutes just to pick up my already made and packed food. It has become so annoying that I have decided to stop ordering pick up during the week all together. It's just way too much of a hassle. Despite the cons, I will never stop eating at this place. I crave it! I need it! Nothing like a good ole Joes meal deal with a half rack and a margarita on the rocks. When I move away, I will miss this place so much I can't put it into words. :-( read more

I have never had a bad dish at Flannigans. Their rocking rib rolls are amazing, I can't go there without getting them. The Texas Burger has everything on it that a bar burger should have, onion strings, buffalo sauce, blue cheese, its fire. I also enjoy their chicken sandwiches and Caesar salads. The only criticism I would have is the wait. It's usually around an hour. They need to expand their restaurants based on the amount of people who go there. When a restaurants only downfall is they need to expand their restaurants because so many people go which shows they are amazing, must mean they are doing something right. read more

Flanigans has to be one of my favorite places to go to. The servers are professional and the food comes in quite fast. However, the wait time is always extremely long! One of our favorite spots! Had dinner there last night. On wednesdays you get a free order of wings with every pitcher of beer or soda you buy. The waitresses are always friendly. My girlfriend normally orders the prime rib and she loves it, its always cooked how she likes it. I had a burger last night for the first time and it was delicious. As soon as we sat we were greeted by an overly enthusiastic and borderline rude waitress by the name of Lisa. First thing she said was "pretty face" to my girlfriend, and throughout the visit she continued to hit on her, "sexy" was even thrown out there once or twice. I understand you're a lesbian, that's fantastic, but if a waiter did thay I would've stopped it from the get go. Don't put customers in that situation. Overall her service wasn't bad, she should however slow down and not be so loud and anxious. On to the orders, my second beer took forever to arrive, and my girls Sprite never came. I ordered a texas burger and will never do so again as it wasn't all that great. To be honest I felt kind of rushed by the waitress, I don't usually budge but she was really high strong. My girl ordered a half rack and barely finished it. The food portions are immense, so come hungry or be ready to take some leftovers home. DO NOT order the loaded nachis appetizer unless in a big group, it is a huge platter! I love Flannigans and don't go as often as I wish. This has to be the worst of all the Flannigans I've ever been to and I love flannigans. it is one of my favorite places to eat. The place is filthy, sticky floors, smelly disgusting bathrooms and the booths are dirty. The service is terrible. It was a Tuesday, we waited 45 minutes to be called then informed we were to sit in a booth by the loud bar. I asked for another booth (since there were s few empty ones) & was told since we were a party of 3 that those booths were for parties of 5 or more we saw a manager and realized why the place was so bad. The manager looked like Bum and was even more unprofessional. We left and drove ten miles to the Flanningans in Davie. It was great. The Hialeah Flannigans should be demolished. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS! I went there last Saturday night and was having an ok time until one of the employees bumped up against the wooden stool that was leaning on the bar and hit the back of my leg fairly hard. He did apologize and naturally I was bothered by the fact that a chair just hit me out of nowhere. The manager (Paul) was standing near by and asked the employee what happened, the employee told his version of it and they both went on their way. As a manager I would think you would be concerned about your customers well being, that unfortunately was NOT the case. He did not even attempt to come to me to see if I was ok. So I asked to speak with him and he of course took his precious time to come back out. I explained to him what had happen and how displeased I was with his attitude about it. Came here for the first time Saturday at 6:30. Waited about 5 min. to be seated. The waitress was very nice. Our food came quickly and it was very good. I had the grilled salmon with baked potatoe and it was delicious. My husband had the surf and turf and was delicious as well. The atmosphere is nice. I've been coming here as far back as I can remember. I feel at times it's too pricey for the quality of food but that can also be because of the cooks or lack of service (cold food/dehydrated curly fries ). We were waiting for our table & we caught a glimpse of the kitchen. A food handler/server, blonde long haired girl, with no gloves or anything, taking fries from people's orders & sucking her finger right after & putting her hands right back on their plates to go serve them. Gag! Trying to get over that nasty visual still. Having said that, their wings, their burgers, their appetizers, are good. The atmosphere has gotten ghetto over the years. Ghetto hip hop on every speaker, or the other extreme, satanic sounding heavy metal. It's not exactly the vibe you'd expect at a place that has Flanigans face everywhere & photos of fishermen with their catch on every free space on the walls. Come on. Clean it up some. It's like you're inviting the fights, the crime, to walk into this establishment with this aggressive vibe. The last few waitresses I've had kind of made this noise less tolerable. A pregnant waitress that looked miserable & almost threw our plates at us or the waitress just recently that looks like she's heavily self medicated. Another time I went to the restroom & came back to a girl sitting in my seat conversing with the table behind & she gets upset with me bc i said excuse me please! Smh. Manager saw & asked her to leave. I forget his name but he's always smiley & has a great demeanor :) Lately I come here with my daughters trying to hurry up & eat to get out of here.
