I have to say I wish I could give this place a better rating, especially since I love eating at Flanigan's, but this experience was not the best. It took a while for us to get water and when the food arrived it was not to its usual standard. The rib rolls were delicious. However, my ribs were pretty good, but not amazing. There was hardly that much barbecue sauce on them. My boyfriend ordered ribs as well and half of his were burnt. The other issue was that they didn't clear any of the plates so we were just eating with limited space. Honestly it was a combination of the poor service and the food that made me give this place 3 stars. read more

Local favorite where almost everything is good on the menu. If you're from Miami you probably don't even need to read these reviews. You probably already know and love your local "flannis". But For the out of towners this place is laid back restaurant and bar. Is it a fish house?... yes, is it a bbq place?...yes. Is it a place you can get drunk at the bar and watch the game?....yes. It's all of those things and a great value also. They constantly run drink specials. The food is a value too, because during the week they have specials called joes meal deals. Went with my co-workers for a late lunch. Had the half rack of baby back ribs which, as always, where tender, fall-off-the-bone deliciousness. Evidently, they replaced most of the bad seeds that circulated this place. Anyway, today I had a wonderful lunch bartender "Maite" she was exceptional! She was very attentive and sweet. Hello , I went to Flanigan's to eat one day in a big group of like 12 of us . We all ordered food . As we were eating our food , one of my friends noticed a lot of roaches all over a pedestal close to our table inside the restaurant where we were sitting . The roaches were alive and moving all over that pedestal . It was very disgusting to see that after eating our food . So as concerned customers , we asked the manager about it and his response was , that it was normal to have roaches like that due to the fact that the building was old and that they serve food . We weren't to happy about that response . I am not here posting this review to get a free meal but I am here to maybe reach the franchise owner and let him know what's going on in his restaurant . These roaches were all over the place and there was plenty of light where they were at . This is truly unexceptionable and I think some kind of inspectors should check it out . If there is that many roaches in broad day light like that , then how many rodents are there . It made me feel like I was in a dirty dinning restaurant . When I got home , I threw up my food , I wonder why . Like I said earlier , I am not writing this long review for a free handout . Walked into the restaurant pretty popular for Thursday night, I was greeted by a manager who didn't even bother to write our names down he just waited there into the hostess came back to write our name down. To me that's a major red flag. The hostess took my name told us it'll be a 20 to 30 minute wait. When were seated in 10-15 minutes, that's when it all went sideways. It took our server about 15 minutes to great us with no waters and said I'll be right back. She disappeared for another 10 minutes, mind me I still haven't been brought a water. We had to get the attention of one of her coworkers to ask for our server, the she finally appeared with some waters ready to take our order. Since we had enough time to our self we went ahead and put our apps and entrees all at once to come out at their respective times. About 10-15 minutes passed by and we asked how much longer would it be on the apps and she said to give it another 7-10 minutes. We used to love this place, so sad it's gone so down hill! My ribs were super fatty, my husband's were not but were dry. The Cesear salad was vinegary and the garlic rolls lacked flavor. No water was brought to the table nor were we asked if we wanted water we were choking half way thru the meal! We complained to the waitress about the ribs she asked if I wanted a new order, I did not, she advised she would tell her manager he never came by and our waitress left without our knowledge!? wasn't looking for a refund but did want to advise them the food was less than satisfactory. This is my favorite Flanigan's to go to!! It is close to my house and has the best food and drinks. The best specials and service! I have never had a complaint or received poor service from a waiter or waitress in the last couple of years of coming by on a monthly basis. Everyone that works there is always so happy and kind. Unfortunately, today, on my best friend's birthday, we were seated and served by Michelle F. First, I had never seen Michelle before, so I thought she was new. From the start, she was just not having it. She was very uninterested and had a bothersome face. We explained to her that it was my best friend's birthday. She then proceeded by informing us that Flanigan's doesn't sing "Happy Birthday but you girls can sing for her." Which was fine with us. We were going to sing to her either way. I and my other 3 friends just wanted to mention the reason we came to celebrate. Michelle did not even say happy birthday or looked phased and proceeded to take our drink orders. Since it took an hour to get seated, we ordered our food right away after the drinks. Two of my friends ordered the pitcher and I ordered the margarita. The food came out shortly after. Sadly, one of the entrees was forgotten, which was a Caesar Salad. As the rest of us were finishing our meal, Michelle never came by to ask how everything was until we stopped her when we were almost done. We mentioned that it was too late to bring in the salad because we had all finished eating and my friend had lost her appetite waiting, and that we wanted it removed from the bill or possibly free. Michelle F, then claimed that she should have been informed about the mistake, but we then told her we were waiting for her to pass by, which she did not, and asked us how we were as a server should. She then basically accused us of not letting us know and therefore it was our wrong doing. That upset the whole group. As we asked for the check and got out of 2 go boxes, I still wanted to leave her a tip. I know there are times when we as humans are having a rough day and it happens that we take it out on people. As we paid, one of my friends asked for 1 green flanigan's signature 2 go cup from Michelle. Michelle then stated that there is no such thing as a 2 go cup anymore and it is only given when purchasing a soda! My friends ordered 2 pitchers! Which is ridiculous. Furthermore, she stated that it cannot be distributed because they count the cups and because they have inventory counts on them, they cannot be distributed. I have been given the green cup whenever we asked for it! I have never heard of it. I have a collection in my house. Lastly, she claimed that she wasn't sure if we were given the cups before in the Hialeah location because the Flanigan's that she works for does not give away cups. This is the most stupid thing I have ever heard. Overall, she says she does work in that location and is not sure how things roll in Hialeah. She had a bad attitude and made rude comments all night, and on top of that, I was looking for a manager that usually passes by and did not see one. I was very upset since it was a birthday celebration. I usually don't let things get to me, but I wished I was able to get a manager involved. I am honest, I am not that type of person to make a scene neither are my friends. My friends and I are very disappointed. I think Michelle F is not fit for the Hialeah store or waitressing at all. Horrible service!!!!! Came with a group of friends for a birthday and the waitress came back multiple times with the wrong food/drinks. We asked for bbq sauce multiple times and never got it, we went inside and grabbed it ourselves from the bar. Waited an HOUR for fries..... Half of the group left early because the service was so terrible and we wanted to leave, we asked for the check and waited for 20 mins. Finally went inside to pay the check ourselves at the cashier because the waitress never came back to the table to bring our checks. We all paid separately and later found out that the people who stayed longer also got charged for our drinks that we already paid for!!!! This happen to me be very careful with management I am writing today 8/13/19 to file a formal complaint on two managers on duty last night 8/12/19 at 10:00 pm. I invited the General manager of one of my stores to dinner, as i do very often with different employees, and to different flanigan's. We arrived around 9:45 pm, as it was to be a quick talk and dinner we sat in the bar. After ordering two drinks and two appetizers around 15-20 minutes in, my wife calls that she will be joining us with my 9 year old son. Immediately i call over the bar tender and ask her " if it will be OK for them to join". She stated that you must be 21 years or older to sit in the bar and she ask if i would like to be relocated to a table. I then asked if there was another option. To her best understanding there was a empty table away from the bar in the same area, that is not the bar. Me and my employee moved to the far end of the bar where that table was located. After a few minutes my wife arrives with my son. (As the cameras will prove) We ordered a second round of drinks and food for my son and wife. All was good, As it always is when we have our corporate events in the restaurant. After around 45 minutes to a hour, we where almost done eating when out of nowhere without warning a manager by the name Julian, get about 5 to 6 inches away from my personal space and yells "IS THAT YOUR KID" now as anyone will react i was taken by surprise and said "come again repeat your self" he stated now with a much more agitated and foul tone " I SAID IS THAT YOUR KID ". I said "yes" then he immediately yells "YOU NEED TO GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE". Turned around and walk in to the kitchen. Not believing what had just happen to me, in front of my family and employee. I followed him to ask if he was aware that we had been sitting there for over 45 minutes and that now it shouldn't be a problem in my opinion. Simply because we where almost done and ready to leave. Then again with the worst customer service that i have ever experienced he stated "YOU NEED TO GET THE FUCK OUT OR I AM GOING TO CALL THE COPS". So after being threatened, disrespected and ashamed in front of my family and employee for no reason at all. With two police officers standing next to me like a criminal, i paid the crying bar tender after the frantic yelling from her manager. Julian stated that she was wrong and did not know what she was doing. Then as i was walking to the exit i stopped at the front where i saw that there was another manager on duty call Cristal. Feeling that i would get some kind of information on the manager Julian, like a last name or a employee number she brushed me off and would only repeated "go to Flanigans.net". When i asked if there was a store number she said "its the only one in Hialeah" and repeated "go to Flanigans.net" at this point we walked out. Now in my opinion the proper addressing to the problem by Mr. Julian the manager. After noticing my son in the wrong area, Julian should had offered to be relocated to a table in another area and/or tried to accommodate us as consuming guest to solve the issue. Its apparent to me that the proper training did not go behind these Flanigan's Managers Julian and Cristal nor did they reach the restaurants standards for proper customer service and care. I will be returning to flanigans at that location and hope that actions will be taken against the managers that where there that night and participated in this even. My family and I have been coming to this Flannigans for over 20 years. Last night, in an attempt to experience a joyous occasion (my wedding anniversary), we unfortunately encountered horrible customer service stemming from the front door hostess to the new night shift "manager" named Vladimere. Initially, we were told there was no wait time when we first arrived. After waiting for a few minutes outside by the allowed waiting area, we were then notified the wait time was to be 45 mins. The hostess seemed extremely irritated when we asked why the sudden change in wait time. We then asked to speak to the on-site manager. When the manager came out of the restaurant to speak with us, he immediately asked us, with attitude and disrespect, why were we treating his employee with rudeness and bad attitude. Not only was his claim false and unwarranted, but he completely jumped the gun in siding with the employee before hearing our concerns. To add insult to injury, the manager decided to contact the police and have them escort us off the premises. Instead of having a peaceful, meaningful dinner with my family, we were discarded with no recourse. To say that we are beyond disappointed is an understatement. If this is the kind of customer service the Flannigans in Hialeah wishes to conduct business, closure in the foreseeable future will be inevitable. read more

Flannigan's Seafood Bar & Grill have been serving great wings, ribs and those famous rib rolls since before I moved here in the 80's. They were great then, and they are still great today. This place has a party vibe and the crowd is loud, and people are cheering for the game on the TV's and the service is fast, so be ready! Still, this is a place we love to visit as the food is always good, the coke taste great, or there are always some great drinks specials on different days of the week. One thing about this place is that it is always packed! Get there right before their dinner crowds arrived and you'll be good. Usually by 7pm the wait gets long. Love this place! read more

They only give a tiny little cup of dressing with your full size salad in a to go order. When you request more they say it's a charge. Not even a taller plastic cup like most restaurants. On Monday night September 12th , 2022. I decided to have a decent dinner at Flanigan's, the Hialeah location. Who doesn't love Flanigan's? It's always great. This night however was the worst experience I've ever had at a Flanigan's or a restaurant. I was highly disappointed. To start off, the hostess took a few minutes to realize we needed a table, mind you it was just two of us. We finally got sat, there was a family of 10 sitting right next to our booth. Poor placement. The whole set up is a poor structure to be honest. It's not pleasant to be that close, especially considering the breakouts we've had in Florida concerning COVID. Our waiter, Javier seemed to be nice for the most part. Took a little more than a few minutes to bring our cups of water. As I opened my straw to drink my water, I immediately noticed & gasped. There was an actual bug, an insect floating in my water. It was not a piece or a wing of an insect, it was a whole body of an insect. I asked our waiter for the manager. The manager was slightly embarrassed, however he proceeds to vocalize that they spend a fair amount of money to exterminate. I could tell he was lying through his teeth. There was a whole dead insect in my water, how does anyone bypass that? What I experienced was unacceptable. All he did was buy our appetizer. He took my information down to open a case? He did not elaborate how that was going to help me?? My friend & I proceeded to give the benefit of the doubt. We ate two appetizers. Two meals & then we ordered vanilla ice cream, after that I had to come to terms that they just don't do a great job at maintaining their restaurant. There were specs in the ice cream & on the side of the plate. We really have no idea what it could have been. The service was terrible. The manager should have bought the whole dinner, not a lousy appetizer with little to no lemons to barely enjoy. I'm distraught & repulsed by the experience. 0 out of 10. I will be sharing with my friends & family to make sure they don't go through what I had to. No one should. Flanigan's was always a favorite, I've ate at multiple locations & various times. Now, I'm not so sure anymore. It's honestly a real shame. I could have really been sick if I was not careful or aware. Please be aware out there. Anything can happen. read more

I know because it was the only place I used my card for weeks, and immediately after going there, I started getting unauthorized charges from sports stores. It's true no one does it better than FLANIGANSSS. Take it from a Flanigans vet 100+ dine in's. For one they have daily specials (ex. Joe meal deals sunday-thurs salad, 3 garlic breads, 10 wings, fries and a drink for 15 bucks, can't beat that!). The food is always super satisfying (my go to are the 10 mild wings). The menu is a good size and has something for everyone. The cocktails though can be hit or miss sometimes. The service is usually on point with the food coming out within 10-15 minutes no matter how busy they are. The last thing Flanigans offers is the experience itself. Yea, the hialeah spot can be ratchet, yea the wait can be long but in the end the experience for me (the green theme, blue long islands, reading the sports page on the urinal while I relieve myself)when I go to flanigans is something that always makes it for me, or it could just be I always get banged up at Flannis lol. read more

I call from my house phone and wife's cell phone while on hold and now one would answer the call. After I hung up the held call, I called again and it rang for over a minute with no answer. Must be a busy Sunday July 22, 2018 @ 0650pm. Passed by and looked inside people waiting as usual and counted 3 employees include the pick up counter girl doing nothing and phone ringing. Management must be making a killing, that they allow consumer dollars to wait on hold. Not worth the time. Food just as good, if not better in some cases, down the street at the Ale house and the staff answers the phone and orders are taken.
