He tried to charge an extra 500 dollars when the engine light and other warnings came on after he fixed it the first time. he still has my other car still not fixed after 3 years. Nothing but excuses and broken promises. Was an idiot to let him work on my daughter's car. Paid him to fix it once then had to take it back he said it's done but when I picked it up it still had check engine light on. His response is he was helping me out. Having to go back to court for my other car which hasn't been touched since the engine that took years to rebuild was started finally on November 3rd. court was told on October 14 he only had 3 days work left on it. I asked the court to give him till October 30th. It's now almost mid December. last year after almost two years he promised I would be burning rubber by New Year's Day.

Unfortunately, they cross-threaded two of the lug nuts on one of my rims. I am only discovering this 10 months later after a tire shop could not remove the lug nuts on one of my rims. I had to take it to another mechanic to get them off as I could not (they were free spinning). It cost me $360. All for a very avoidable mistake by these guys. They provided some helpful suggestions to do repairs that were reasonable for very old vehicles. They do quality repairs and they honor their work. When I had a rebuilt alternator fail about a year after replaced- they replaced it with no charge for the unit (just labor). I've also had brake work and other repairs done there with excellent outcomes.
