Me and my girl both went in for massages today. A male…read moremasseuse worked on me, and a female masseuse on her. The male masseuse gave me a great massage! Very relaxing and he massaged alll the tension out of my shoulders and back. He also cracked my back which was SO needed. He had very calm manner and checked to make sure the pressure was ok for me. The hot stones felt amazing! Also the foot soak and facial were great. My girl had the female masseuse and she did not enjoy it as much. The massage itself seemed to involve more of the fist pounding and not much rubbing. The masseuse left the room for 5-10 mins, more than once, with no explanation and then did not extend the massage to make up for it. She also loudly yawned several times and even took phonecalls throughout the massage! Totally messed up the zen atmosphere. It was strange and it would have been nice if another masseuse was available to take over. Also, a loud argument broke out between some other employees midway thru our massages. We could hear loud yelling from another room and at some point both our masseuses seemed to have to leave to handle it. It went on for several minutes and definitely threw off the vibe. All in all I may go again for that specific male masseuse. Shout out to him!

Very disappointing experience…read more I booked two massages on 8/27 for 8/30 at 9:30 AM. I received an email confirmation and a reminder the day before. We arrived early and waited until 9:35 before calling because the spa was still closed. When I called, the woman I spoke with sounded as though I had woken her up and said she had just noticed the appointment. She told me she needed to call the other person and would call me back. Needless to say, we left without getting our massages. Thankfully, we had not paid ahead of time. I understand that things happen, but leaving customers standing outside at their scheduled appointment time with no communication is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We had made plans around these appointments and were really looking forward to them. I would not book here again.

My masseuse was so extremely rough that I am in pain still two days later. I told her multiple times during the massage she was being too rough, she didn't care she just laughed. There was just so many things wrong with this massage. The lotion was extremely cold, hot stones burned me, masseuse let out a loud ass shart and didn't apologize and literally almost broke my leg. I really wish I had got my money back and never went here. I'm warning you all.

After volunteering at Ronald McDonald House, I decided to check out Big Foot Spa since a friend's…read morefriend mentioned that she got an hour of 'feet' massage here. I've been wanting to try a place that will just do feet. When I entered, I politely whispered my request of an hour of just 'feet' massage. A lady responded in a loud tone of voice. I thought that was strange but I guess there were no customers there at the time. A guy that spoke English mentioned that the grand opening special of $19.99 is only for feet and I said that is what I want. He asked if I prefer a male or female, and I said I prefer someone good and strong. Like any other place, my feet were first soaked in hot tea water. Then the masseuse game me a face and scalp rub, followed my arm rub. I didn't care for it, but it was really hard to communicate with her. When she gave me the feet massage, it was more of a feet, shins, and calves rub. I was hoping that this masseuse knows the pressure point on the bottom of one's foot and apply pressure, not a foot rub. Anyone can do foot rubs. Heck my husband is better at it. Too bad he rather gives me money to get a massage than do so himself. I won't be coming back to this feet massage spot.

First of all, Chinatown is not just that Chinese inspired strip mall you come up on. There are like two foot spas in there, I recommend driving further. We found Big Foot massage on the right hand side of the road driving away from the strip. We had not made reservations but were still able to walk right in and be ushered to the back. I opted for the full body massage ($35 that day). There were only two employees working that day, and it was the man that did my massage. He started by instructing me to put my very sore and tired feet into the most inviting hot water soak ever! He then brought me water, and began to work magic on my feet. Within minutes I forgot all about that treacherous 7 hour walk along the strip the day prior. He then worked on my shoulders, and eventually my back. Now I love a good deep tissue massage as much as the next under paid over worked american schmuck, but wowee. I am slightly bruised 2 days later. But I feel great and I know it's all because of the wonderful massage my husband treated me to at Big Foot Massage. Some advice. Just because the people working there don't speak English well, and have accents doesn't mean you need to speak to them in broken English. To the guy that came in near the end of my massage... you sounded like a jerk. Also the rooms don't go up to the ceiling so any idiotic thing you may say, or weird sounds you make will be heard by all.... Other than that. Assume experience.

I went in for a foot massage with my cousin. Foot massage here was 2.5/5. Very repetitive and not so relaxing. When I go in for a massage I want to relax. I couldn't do that since my cousin and I were in the same room both of the masseuse/masseur talked most of the time. One of their phones kept buzzing every 5 minutes, it was very distracting. To top it off the lady giving me a massage did a loud as burp! I wish I was kidding. I don't suggest this place for a foot massage. When it was time to pay and tip they got upset that I only tipped $5 and demanded more.
