I had two different orders and had issues pulling up the pick-up barcode for my second order so the cashier asked for my last name. He made a brief tempted to ask someone to look for the order but gave up after a minute or so and moved on to ring up the lady behind me. I was standing there just waiting to be helped so I asked the other guy that was at the online order section. He too made a half ass attempt but moved onto something else. At that point, I started looking for my orders myself. I located one of the two orders, but had difficulty finding the second one. A third employee came towards me and asked if I needed help. She was finally able to locate my second order. Got home, and found out that the mask I ordered was broken. I went to a different Party City and they didn't have the exact mask so we had to go with something else. At that location, we were told only an exchange was allowed so we ended up paying nearly $10 more for the other mask. Overall this was poor and frustrating experience that resulted in us paying more at a different location. Update: I found out that Halloween returns must be returned at least seven days before Halloween. I looked up the policy since the cashier at the other location didn't specify.

I remember going crazy over that mouse with gloves and she's not different. As I searched the website for balloons, I saw a few options that were reasonably priced and that were available for pick up within two hours. Before finishing my order, I had no idea there was a helium shortage .. was this on the news? Should I be concerned? I was completely oblivious to this. After placing my order, I received a phone call regarding my order. In the call two things happened: I was given a shorter wait time and an option for the coveted helium. When picking up the balloons, I didn't wait at all and they were ready as mentioned. Very friendly staff and eager to help with any additional questions or concerns. Party City came in clutch on my daughters special day, they didn't know it but I was very grateful for their customer service and making this dad a hero without a cape.
