Tanya was our "day of coordinator" but she was truly there for us from the moment we signed the contract (over 1 year!) From the planning checklist, to the budget tracker, to all the other planning resources they provide, Southern Charm Events is WORTH EVERY PENNY! Not to mention everything they do on your actual wedding day. From set up, to keeping you on track with your timeline, to wedding crisis control, they are the total package. If you asked me, I would say that our day went smooth, perfect, without a hitch and not one thing went wrong. However, on our wedding day there was a small hiccup with one of our table cloths and an ant pile. Tanya and her team handled it so quickly, with such professionalism that I didn't even know about it until 3 weeks after the wedding! Talk about wedding superheroes! I truly couldn't have asked for a better team than Tanya and Haley, and we feel so lucky that we got to spend the best day of our lives with them.

Her communication was professional, kind and continual. Once we determined what we needed, she set into action. She arrived on time to break it down also. An A+ grade for satisfaction of the contract and for all these reasons, I can highly recommend Monica and Magical Moments Design & Event Planning.

First and foremost I want to give a big heartfelt thank you to Annie Pajcic for the support. When we had the auction in early August we had not yet matched with a birth mother and now we are five days away from our baby being born. TAE was the absolute perfect place to hold an art auction. The space is absolutely gorgeous and Rachel helped us place our art installations in the perfect place to increase our success. We ended up raising 10% of our adoption through our art auction at TAE! The location of TAE is perfect and there was more than enough parking for our 50+ guests. Additionally, there are large easily accessible bathrooms, a fridge, and kitchen available for use. Even before my wife and I brought our art to showcase, the ambiance of TAE is perfect. We were lucky to have live music for our event. Our singers decided to go fully acoustic, but there is a state of the art sound system available for artists to plug into. We didn't use it, but it looked like it would make for a great music experience. I cannot stress how perfect this space is for an event. Big thank you once again to Annie and Rachel!

I truly hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience to help…read moreothers make informed decisions--especially for meaningful events. I hired Bill over a month in advance for a small, sentimental engagement brunch. From day one, we clearly communicated the event time, which was confirmed in writing and in the signed contract. This wasn't just casual entertainment--his caricatures were meant to be a tribute to my late father and serve as the main party favor for our guests. We even purchased a custom matted frame ahead of time based on the agreed-upon sizing for his artwork. Just two days before the event, Bill canceled via text--without any prior conversation, call, or meaningful explanation. The only reason he gave was that we had changed the event time, which was simply not true. From the beginning, the event time had been clearly communicated, confirmed in writing, and never changed. We even sent him a photo of the invitation with the event time printed on it to avoid any confusion, and the signed contract he provided also listed the correct time. We were counting on him based on those agreed-upon details. I tried calling multiple times to talk things through and find a solution, but he never responded. I have every message and receipt to back this up. This last-minute cancellation left us scrambling and truly disappointed. His refusal to communicate or return a client's calls felt deeply unprofessional, especially given the personal meaning behind the event. We had even been considering hiring him for our wedding--but after this experience, I would strongly caution others who are planning important moments and counting on reliability and communication. I hope he takes accountability moving forward, but based on our experience, I would NOT recommend booking unless you are comfortable with the risk of being left without a vendor at the last minute.

Thanks so much Bill, you really came through, and I'll always be grateful for all of your help.
