What a disgrace, I know when you go to arcades it's a gamble but this place is a complete con,…read moretried getting a teddy for my daughter which by the way I grabbed more than 5 times , the grabber completely closed around the teddy and was on the way on 5 different occasions and just before the it was at release point it obviously felt the weight on all occasions and release the teddy every time , which I recorded after this happened the 2nd time. When i spoke to who I thought was the manager about it he said that's a gamble you take which I definetly understand, but when it is clear to see that it's a complete con and is definitely not fair play , then I will say something.I have wasted money in arcades and that's fine , but I have won teddies before and lost fairly and that's fine but this place is a con and is also connected to flamingo arcade as this is where I saw the manager return to and when observing people trying to get teddies the same thing happened.

This is the place for you!…read more We went there as a small group and got wristbands for unlimited rides for the day - we arrived there at 11am and the place was pretty empty- so a brilliant time to try as many rides as possible with no queues!! We had a break at lunch - the sun was shining so we enjoyed ourselves in the courtyard in the middle where the stage and giant screen were. There were 3 food vendors- we tried 2 of them. For both of them the food was nice, fresh and tasty. 1 bar was open (no queues so no need to open another one at the same location, but the amenities are there for the high season), not a super wide range but everything was decent and prices were reasonable for a theme park / venue by the sea. After lunch, as the sun was shining there was more people, but still didn't have to queue for any of the rides. We went to the indoor arcade as well - there is also an indoor roller disco. Looking at the ceilings, it's not the best view- clearly it needs a bit of renovation. Within Dreamland , there are a few toilet facilities, all of them were clean. Good news - new water ride coming in July!

Plenty of things to do for kids of all ages from coasters, sk8board ride, arcades, small kiddie rides, gokarts, souvenirs. They also have a great food stall serving fresh espresso based coffee which was welcome on a frosty morning. And on that cold windy morning, the place had plenty of people to keep the place buzzing.

It's exactly the same…read moreas the numerous other practically identical amusement arcades dotted along the seafront but there is one big difference you actaully come away with winnings ! Not money, otherwise they wouldn't survive !! But they've had the brilliant idea of filling up the shove penny 2p machines with little toys and ornaments and you really can and do win them. So you'll still spend a fortune but you'll come home with a few souvenirs ! If they get stuckon the way down, don't hesitate to call over one of the workers going round filling them up - they give them to you with no hassle and are also happy enough to swap them over if the little china ornaments get chipped on the way down the chute !
