The museum has free entry and has a permenant display of fishing and diving related matter. Visitors are also able to wtach old footage of whitstable. The museum also hosts various artists based upon a chosen topic. Each topic has family events and free workshops. A gret place for kids.

The bars are always well staffed and there is rarely a long wait for drinks even when the venue is busy. There are regular appearances from the likes of cover bands, X factor ex stars, and other regular touring bands, but there are also more interesting events like stag and hen parties, thai boxing and wrestling.
