We went to pick up dinner. When we entered we were greeted right away. The cashier was friendly. The restaurant was clean. I ordered the dinner special with 3 rolls, rice, and soup. You have the option of a drink or miso soup. I got shrimp tempura rolls, I don't like avocados, but didn't realize it came inside the roll. I was hungry so I ate it, and it was ok. I wouldn't order it that way purposely though. The miso soup was bland, but a little butter and seasoning at home made it taste good. The side order of fried rice was decent, but some of it was undercooked and crunchy. They don't give a big portion of meat in the teriyaki either. My mom had about 9 or 11 thin pieces of beef which she didn't want to share. Lol. I managed to get a piece and it was decent. It could use more flavor, but it was hot, and the texture was good. The spicy mayo, eel sauce, and tetaki sauce I used made everything taste better!! The prices are pretty reasonable for sushi, appetizers, and teriyaki here, so if I'm balling on a budget this will do the trick. Check them out!! read more

First things first...the decor is nice modern Asian flare. The service was also spot on. Now... when I go to a sushi place I always check the rice ratio on the rolls. I ordered the "My All Roll & Side of "Shimp Tempora. The ratio of the "My All Roll" was perfect (see my pic) Plus it was pretty tasty. Now for the shrimp tempura.. I'm partial to Panko style breading that is fluffy and crunchy....well this was far from it . It looks like it WAS Panko but over fried. Plus where's the tempura sauce?! They don't carry Tempura Sauce..Sorry, but why serve "Tempura" if not "Tempura Sauce". Will not order that again. Other than that the sushi is great! I will stop by if I am ever around that area and try other dishes , but knowing me there's other places to try. read more

We have been coming to this location for quite a while. It hasn't changed much and is very consistent on provided good food. The staff is always nice and the food comes out fairly quick. Only a few times has it bogged down, but I believe that is because everyone ordered at once. The inside of the restaurant does have seating and about 7 tables and a small bar area to sit at. The music isn't too loud also like some places. We usually get sushi and some chicken teriyaki. The chicken teriyaki is usually very tender and they will give you extra sauce if you ask. We are pretty simple with our sushi and stick to the Cali roll and shrimp tempura usually. Our child does love the chicken teriyaki roll even though it really isn't sushi. One of our favorite tempura rolls in the Superman roll which I do recommend eating while it is still hot. We did move further away from here, but we will for sure be back every time we visit our family over here. read more

This is maybe one of the first fast food teriyaki joints (besides from the mall) and I've been coming here since they opened many years ago. I love their specials especially their chicken teriyaki for 5.99 which comes with a drink. Their sushi combos are decently priced too. Coming back home to visit for the holidays, we somehow always find ourselves at places we frequented when we lived here. We stuck to what we knew, 3 rolls - shrimp tempura, spicy California and a spicy teriyaki. The rolls were just as good as I remembered, maybe a bit spicier, but I'm not complaining! We'd easily order it all again. We also got some teriyaki chicken with rice for the kids. The portion seemed to be the same, but I feel they really held back on the sauce and I found it a bit dry. My kids love chicken and rice, so they ate a good chunk. If you don't plan on dining in, I'd call about 10-15 minutes before you plan on getting there for quicker pick up. I love this little spot for quick on-the-go sushi. I've only ever gotten the 3 sushi roll lunch/dinner specials and the chicken/beef teriyaki. With the 3 roll meal, you get either a drink or miso soup with it. They do not skimp out on any of the ingredients with their rolls. I love their shrimp tempura rolls. You get a decent chunk of shrimp in each piece. The Spicy California and Spicy Tuna are also very good. They use the spicy mayo to spice it up, so it's not too spicy. But it's perfect for me, someone who can't handle too much spice. The miso soup is delicious, comes with little bits of tofu, enough to have some with every bite and the seaweed isn't too overpowering. The teriyaki meals are also very filling. You can get either white rice or fried rice. You can also get veggies with it. The meat is always cooked to perfection, never tough or chewy. The meals are packed nicely in a brown bag with handles. They give you little containers of soy sauce, Wasabi and ginger...along with your napkins and chopsticks. They are on point with their covid protocols. No dining in at the moment, they have plastic barriers, they have hand sanitizer out for customers to use, and everyone wears their masks correctly. They are typically pretty speedy with their orders, too. From the time I place the order to pick up, it's usually about 15-20 mins. The fried rice was just rice tossed around with some brown-based sauce (most likely soy sauce). You can still see some parts are just white. Ew. Ew. Ew. I'm not sure this even qualifies as sushi. Nor does it qualify as fast casual. In the amount of time we waited, we could have easily sat at a nicer place with better sushi. I've never seen a cucumber salad that consisted of julienned strips of plain cucumber mixed with fake Krab with a mayo sauce drizzled on top. No vinegar. No sugar. Nothing. Just mayo mixed with something unidentifiable. I tried to get the Spring sushi roll, but they "were out" of seaweed salad. I'm guessing that doesn't get prepped daily. I substituted for the winter roll after I inquired if it was fresh crab and shrimp. I was told it was. The shrimp inside the roll were fine, but it was topped with more of that lovely Krab.. there was no Crab in sight. It tasted okay, but left a lot to be desired.
