I'm very shocked to see that every review on Flair is 5 stars, it's slightly hard to believe . I have been hesitant to even write a review but now after seeing how my lashes have not lasted and the aftermath of my appointment I felt the need was appropriate. I have gotten lashes for over two years and have never experienced pain like I did after getting a natural set at Flair. I had so much glue in both of my eyes that the bottom of both of my eyes were unbelievably bloodshot & felt like I cried for 3 days straight. It was very noticeable as my friend asked me what was wrong multiple times. I noticed pain and major burning while getting them done but she just put a fan on them which did nothing. She definitely rushed after I mentioned there was burning and discomfort. She was 15 minutes late. I try not to hold someone being late against them but it bothered me that I wasn't given an apology on what could have been a major inconvenience. This is the reason why I think I was rushed and my lashes weren't up to par. They were very thin and did not look like a complete set. A week later I've noticed that most of the lashes on my left eye have fallen off. I understand lashes shed but not to this extreme (I've included a pic). I came here a few months ago because of a gilt voucher. This was my first eyelash extension and I could not be any happier! These lashes stayed put for about a month and all my friends and even strangers would compliment my lashes! Since Flair i've been to other lash extension places and they just weren't as good as Flair. The owner Jessica was super nice and guided me on what lashes she recommended for me and was super helpful. They provide you with a nice neck pillow and blanket so you can basically fall asleep if you want. They also have a nice eyepatch they put under your eye at the other place I went to they used tape and it was super uncomfortable but Flair's eyelash technicians knew exactly how to apply the under eye pad and not a lot of eyelash places provide an under eye patch. They also have make up remover to remove anything you might have. Jessica gave me all the information afterwards on how to treat my lashes afterwards and I can't wait to go back. The only downside is they don't do a lot of offers like groupon so it's a little steep but it really worth it for the quality and service they provide. read more

I made an appointment after seeing the amazing eyelashes of my coworker. I initially had an appointment for 5:30PM, but ended up having an important call that took place until around 5:45PM. I called Jessica, the owner, to let her know that I would be running late and she insisted that I still come in as soon as I could possibly get there. As soon as I could, I jumped in an cab and headed to the salon. I immediately was greeted with a huge hello and hug from Jessica. I came in panting and apologizing for my lateness. She assured me that they could most definitely still take me, but that it would not be the full hour service that they usually do because I had arrived a half hour late. She told me that they could still do what I wanted in the time that was still remaining for my appointment, a half hour. I told her if she had the confidence to complete my lashes in that time frame, all the power to her! While my lashes were being done, my shoes were off and I was laying down with a clean and warm blanket... I almost fell asleep! Within 35 minutes, my eyelashes were completed and looking glamorous! After getting my lashes done elsewhere, I walked into Jessica's Flair with crusty (fake) lashes and teary eyes in the mornings. Little did I know that there was the proper way to apply extensions (Flair's) and the wrong way! I learned that I must've had an allergic reaction to the glue used at the previous salon, which is why I had those earlier symptoms. And I haven't had those return since I'd been going to get my lashes touched up at Flair. The lashes are much softer (I get the silks) than the competitors' and when they fall out, they don't necessarily take my entire natural lash with it. Jess is the best. It was my first time getting the lashes and I was bit nervous because I didn't know what to expect. I have very short and few lashes and always wanted to see what I would look like with them. When I arrived for my appt I was greeted by the friendly staff. It's very clean and modern space. I had a consultation with Jessica and let her know I want it to be as natural as possible.
