I had such an amazing experience with Flair. They met all my expectations and more! I live in Boston but traveled to NY just to have my lashes done here, and it was so worth it. Jessica is so intuitive at what she does and recommended a set for me that was natural but still very glam. The aesthetician that applied my lashes was gentle and very attentive and I fell asleep during the process and woke up to beautiful new lashes. Thank you, Flair for your services! I can't wait to return. read more

I've gotten lash extensions maybe 2-3 times ever so I still feel like a newbie when it comes to this. However, I've had enough experience to know that Flair, Jessica and her girls are the truth! If you've been looking for a new place to get extensions, give them a try. From the moment I walked in, Jessica greeted me and offered me something to drink. Like others have said, the consultation was the most thorough I've ever experienced. She took a look at my eye shape and asked me what look I wanted to achieve. I told her I'd like something natural but noticeable. She asked me if I wanted my eyes to open up more or be elongated (a la cat eye). She mentioned "we'll do 9, 10, 11, 12" (curl lengths) for various parts of my eyes and, in my head, I was like "wait, you can do that?!" That's how customizable this felt for me which I loved. It wasn't as simple as pointing to a picture in a book. Jessica wants to ensure you're getting what YOU want. The tech (I'm sorry I forgot her name) was super sweet. I was able to charge my phone during the session and fell asleep the whole way through. One of the things I noticed immediately once she was done was that I couldn't feel them on my lids. Usually, I feel some tightness or weight to remind me "hey, these foreign things are on your eyes" but these lashes are weightless and feel natural. I am absolutely, positively in love with Flair. Jessica is professional, personable, and pretty awesome. She builds rapport easily with her customers and takes a genuine interest in your plans, and your lash goals. Her techs are superbly skilled. Rest assured, you're in good hands here! Customer for life! read more

Jessica is THE BEST! I've been going to her for years. My girlfriend went to another place in midtown and her eyelashes fell out! I've only had compliments for years and years! I always fall asleep, she's so soothing and she makes my eyes look so natural. SHE IS THE BEST! read more

I absolutely love my new eyelashes!! I've never had eyelash extensions, and I was a bit nervous and skeptical to try them. I didn't know what to expect, and most of all, I didn't want to look unnatural. When I walked in to Flair, I was greeted by the owner, Jessica, who made me feel comfortable & relaxed. She assessed my eyelashes, and asked what my expectations were. She was really attentive and explained different options, the thickness & length, that would best fit me. My technician was amazing and really gentle. The whole process was super relaxing!! My new eyelashes enhance my eyes and even brightens up the face! I am so pleased and happy how they look very natural and feel like mine. Thank you Flaire! I will definitely come back!! read more

Jess and the team at Flair Eyelashes are really one of a kind. I've been going to Flair for about a year now and I've never left disappointed. When you walk in, the welcome is extremely warm followed with a hug. Depending on whether I need lashes for my everyday look or if I have an event coming up, Jess and Amy always make sure that I look my best. The only way I can describe the way my results look are sophisticated glam. Flair Eyelashes carries its own products that are gentle on the eyes and cause no irritation. The technicians are also experienced in their bedside manner, lash application, cleansing & removal. It's hard to find a place that provides lashes that look natural & gorgeous. I wear little to no foundation when I have these lashes on because they are all I need. These lashes last very long (about 2-4 weeks depending on activities) I workout daily so I need to receive refills every 2 weeks and I sleep on my left side so they tend to fall out quicker. Nevertheless I still look like I wake up with makeup on everyday. Once you go to Flair Eyelashes, you'll become addicted! read more

Lil Orphan Annie might have said, "you're never fully dressed without a smile" bbbuuuuutttt what she really should have done was take Daddy Warbucks over to Flair because the truth is you're never truly dressed without LASHES. And the team at Flair does it the best. Jessica is so welcoming and kind. She's a lash guru and consults everyone individually based on their current lashes, the look they want and what they're coming in for (every day wear, event, wedding, etc). Her team is gentle, professional, and always do a wonderful job. Everytime I leave feeling beautiful and put together. It's so much easier than messy mascara and I get so many compliments! read more

I'm very shocked to see that every review on Flair is 5 stars, it's slightly hard to believe . I have been hesitant to even write a review but now after seeing how my lashes have not lasted and the aftermath of my appointment I felt the need was appropriate. I have gotten lashes for over two years and have never experienced pain like I did after getting a natural set at Flair. I had so much glue in both of my eyes that the bottom of both of my eyes were unbelievably bloodshot & felt like I cried for 3 days straight. It was very noticeable as my friend asked me what was wrong multiple times. I noticed pain and major burning while getting them done but she just put a fan on them which did nothing. She definitely rushed after I mentioned there was burning and discomfort. I would recommend finding a salon that doesn't rush and puts time into their appointments to not have their clients in pain for the next few days. read more

From the moment you walk into Flair - you feel as if you are in a dear friend's apartment. Jessica, the owner, has a natural talent of making you feel at ease, comfortable and safe and you instantly know you are going to be in great hands. After trying 20+ lash places from the bouzhiest places in Midtown to even more uppity places in Soho and destroying my lashes so hard that I had to take a year long break, I finally found THE mecca of lashes. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE IN THE CITY. My first refill here at 3 weeks - I lost 1 ! literally 1 ! eyelash in the entire three week period! Long gone are the days of me waking up 3 days after getting a new set of lashes to loosing half of them in that short period of time. These finally stay and they look incredible! From Scuba diving in Columbia to snorkeling in underground Sonotes in Mexico over this winter, my lashes survived and remained fabulous through all of my winter travels ! I spend hours literally in the salty harsh ocean water and my lashes continued to impress! I am pretty sure I saw a couple of high profile celebrities here, so I know this place is legit. I can't recommend it enough and thank you for amazing work on my lashes ! I am in love with the quality of your work! read more

Went today for the first time and could not have had a better experience! Jessica took so much time before and after my appointment to provide guidance and answer my many questions. The best and my lashes always look amazing, they also grow in nicely. I've never had any eye issues here and my lashes can be sensitive especially after they grow in. Jessica and her team are wonderful, always take care of you and work with your schedule. Highly recommend! read more

Highly recommended for the highest quality lash extension application and service! After years of wanting to try lash extensions but being too nervous, I finally decided to get them for an upcoming two week beach vacation. I researched thoroughly and many great recommendations lead me to Flair. The owner, Jessica, answered all my (many) questions with pleasure. I had my lashes done by Scarlet and her application was absolutely perfect. Not only do they look phenomenal (like I was born with these incredibly long and fluttery lashes), but I also did not experience any discomfort whatsoever. The entire process was very gentle and relaxing (I even fell asleep). Further, the owner, Jessica, is extremely committed to client satisfaction. She will go above and beyond to ensure you walk away with results that you love. read more

*****UPDATE 06/14/17**** As previously stated Jessica called me right after my original review went up. She apologized profusely and offered to rectify the situation by having me come back for another set free of charge. The second set was perfect and they have lasted well over two weeks. Jessica was very helpful in helping me select not only a style that was perfect for my eye shape but lashes that would last longer and less prone to quick fallout. She's wonderful and I thank her so much for reaching out to me to fix the situation. 5 stars for great customer service and good service overall! ****UPDATE**** Jessica reached out to me shortly after this review was posted and offered to rectify the issue. Review will be retracted or updated based on outcome of next visit. I really had high hopes for this place based on all the good reviews they have. I feel kind of guilty about writing this review because Jessica the owner worked very hard to get me in when they were completely booked. She's super sweet and I have no complaints about the way she runs her business. My issue was with the set of lashes that I got. The problem stems from the tech I was scheduled with. She was 15 minutes late. I try not to hold someone being late against them but it bothered me that I wasn't given an apology on what could have been a major inconvenience. This is the reason why I think I was rushed and my lashes weren't up to par. They were very thin and did not look like a complete set. A week later I've noticed that most of the lashes on my left eye have fallen off. I understand lashes shed but not to this extreme (I've included a pic). I know I could've called the business about the issue and it could have been fixed but I don't getting people in trouble. I think they do great work. I just came in on a bad day. read more

Do you want to wake up looking like Beyoncé? Well, we can't wake up really being her but with Flair's eyelash extensions you get a little close to feeling like Queen B. I came here a few months ago because of a gilt voucher. This was my first eyelash extension and I could not be any happier! These lashes stayed put for about a month and all my friends and even strangers would compliment my lashes! Since Flair i've been to other lash extension places and they just weren't as good as Flair. The owner Jessica was super nice and guided me on what lashes she recommended for me and was super helpful. They provide you with a nice neck pillow and blanket so you can basically fall asleep if you want. They also have a nice eyepatch they put under your eye at the other place I went to they used tape and it was super uncomfortable but Flair's eyelash technicians knew exactly how to apply the under eye pad and not a lot of eyelash places provide an under eye patch. They also have make up remover to remove anything you might have. Jessica gave me all the information afterwards on how to treat my lashes afterwards and I can't wait to go back. The only downside is they don't do a lot of offers like groupon so it's a little steep but it really worth it for the quality and service they provide. read more

This was my first time getting my lashes done, and it was a great experience. It started with a consultation of which type/length of eyelash I should get (I wanted a subtle more natural look so they recommended the j curl, sizes 8-11) and then we got started. My technician was so sweet, very gentle and thorough. The whole process took about an hour, and I was very pleased by how it turned out! I would definitely go back. The salon itself was very clean and well-equipped with music playing in the background. I can tell they use high quality products by the look how natural my lashes look. read more

This was my first time getting lash extensions and one of the best! Jessica, one of the co-partners I believe, was very informative and so sweet during my consultation. She knew what she was talking about and knowledgeable on what would fit best for me, as well as doing a thorough job explaining the process and upkeep. The salon is brand new and very CLEAN. A vey chic look to it. The products they used were of high quality which I personally loved the most about this experience. The technician was a doll and thorough, making sure she got every lash and cleaning my mascara/makeup off so that the lashes would stick. Definitely would recommend to a friend, and go back! read more

I made an appointment after seeing the amazing eyelashes of my coworker. I initially had an appointment for 5:30PM, but ended up having an important call that took place until around 5:45PM. I called Jessica, the owner, to let her know that I would be running late and she insisted that I still come in as soon as I could possibly get there. As soon as I could, I jumped in an cab and headed to the salon. I immediately was greeted with a huge hello and hug from Jessica. I came in panting and apologizing for my lateness. She assured me that they could most definitely still take me, but that it would not be the full hour service that they usually do because I had arrived a half hour late. She told me that they could still do what I wanted in the time that was still remaining for my appointment, a half hour. I told her if she had the confidence to complete my lashes in that time frame, all the power to her! While my lashes were being done, my shoes were off and I was laying down with a clean and warm blanket... I almost fell asleep! Within 35 minutes, my eyelashes were completed and looking glamorous! Jessica and I chatted for a bit afterward and I couldn't be any happier with how natural looking my lashes came out-the exact way I wanted and the exact way Jessica described them. Will DEFINITELY be back again and again! read more

After getting my lashes done elsewhere, I walked into Jessica's Flair with crusty (fake) lashes and teary eyes in the mornings. Little did I know that there was the proper way to apply extensions (Flair's) and the wrong way! I learned that I must've had an allergic reaction to the glue used at the previous salon, which is why I had those earlier symptoms. And I haven't had those return since I'd been going to get my lashes touched up at Flair. The lashes are much softer (I get the silks) than the competitors' and when they fall out, they don't necessarily take my entire natural lash with it. Jess is the best. She gives everyone a personalized consultation on the style and length of lashes before each session. And I love chatting with her after my appointment! read more

It was my first time getting the lashes and I was bit nervous because I didn't know what to expect. I have very short and few lashes and always wanted to see what I would look like with them. When I arrived for my appt I was greeted by the friendly staff. It's very clean and modern space. I had a consultation with Jessica and let her know I want it to be as natural as possible. After the consultation I relaxed for about an hour and voila! I had lashes!!! I was told by my friends who have gotten lashes somewhere else that I'll have to get used to them but I didn't feel a thing. I was shocked to see how natural it looked and felt. It looked like my own lashes!! Later that day with my new lashes I went shopping for new make up to go with my new lashes. The sales person behind the counter helping me said "you don't have to put too much product especially with your long lashes." I told them they weren't mine and she was shocked! I stood there for 15 min answering questions about my experience at Flair. I'm definitely recommending this place if you want comfortable, natural, high quality lashes. Flair and owner Jessica are awesome. I initially came to Flair for a pre-wedding trial at the recommendation of a friend. I was super apprehensive about getting eyelash extensions, worried about sensitivity to the glue and having to sit still for an hour plus while someone fiddled near my eyeballs. First of all, Jessica assured me I had nothing to worry about and she was right. It was such a pleasant and, dare I say, even relaxing experience. But even more to the point, my lashes came out GORGEOUS. I could not have asked for a more beautiful outcome. I will absolutely be returning to Flair. Their work is really above and beyond. read more

Since I moved to New York I have gone to multiple places trying to get my lashes done here and have been very disappointed. I disliked it so much I stopped wearing lashes. Today, I woke up feeling meh (like the meh you feel when you have leftover eye make on your eyes and a new pimple) and decided I would read every yelp review until I found a place worth trying. 1) Jessica is amazing she's the owner and she's so upfront, friendly, honest and will advice you for exactly what you need. I was ready to get 150 lashes and I wanted to tattoo my lips for permanent color and she explained to me why she didn't advice that for me and convinced me out of it and she also said 120 lashes would suffice and if I wanted more she would add. I absolutely loved this. She's not trying to make quick money she clearly values and loves her practice and customers. 2) Amy is absolutely amazing she did my lashes and it was so quick (an hour) and absolutely perfect if you ask me. You know how sometimes you feel the burning from the glue? Well I didn't feel it once. Already scheduled my follow up! read more

Jessica is the BEST! There is no where I trust with lashes like Flair Eyelash. I was recommended by a friend after I had countless issues with lash extensions in NYC. One place (I won't name it but there is a location in Midtown) gave me such a bad infection (guessing bc of being not sanitary or cheap glue) that one of my eyelids was sealed shut for a few days. NOT the case with Flair eyelash. Jessica will take the time to really pick out the perfect style for you. She is warm and the kindest person. Then the technicians are simply wonderful. I took a nap while I got them bc it was so relaxing. When I awoke my lashes were natural and gorgeous, not that crazy cartoony looking eyelash extension you see so many women with. I LOVE this place. I truly think it is the best in NYC!!! read more

Jess has restored my faith in lash extensions! From the moment I walked in she made me feel like a friend. I've had lashes done at many of the top spots including Lash Forever in the city. Flair Lash was by far my best experience. Previous extension appointments left my eyes so blood shot and irritated. I've had many places say this is normal, but it's not worth an hour of laying there in pain. I was about to give up on extensions when a friend told me to try Flair. Jess makes her own amazing lashes and products. The green tea based products caused zero discomfort! My lashes are stunning! It's going on week three since application and I have lost only a couple. Absolutely have made a customer out of me. Amy did my lashes and she was fabulous and gentle. Thanks Flair Lash!! read more

I came here with my mom today. She was a previous customer and has been raving about it since she first went, so I finally came along. This was the first time I've ever gotten my eyelashes done, and I have to tell you between the customer service from Jessica and Scarlet, fitting us in even though we were a bit behind schedule, and the extent they went to figure out which lashes would suit me best, I am in love with these lashes. I've always wondered what it would look like, and I was not disappointed. This is the only place that I will be going to. If you haven't tried them, you need to! A total must! Beyond that, the inside was absolutely beautiful and clean, the tables were so comfortable, I even dozed off a bit, just like Jessica said I would haha. read more

I'm a firm believer that anything that goes near your eye (mascara/ eyeliner/ lash curler/ brushes/ etc.) should be high end as you can never be too careful with what you put in or near your eyes. Flair Eyelashes is high end. I was referred by a friend and was a little nervous as I'd never had lashes done before. Jessica, the owner, put me at ease right away. She's like the sister you never had. The space is clean, calming, and comfortable. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Review regarding customer service: Update 1: So unfortunately I can't get lash extensions tomorrow bc my lashes are still too curled (waaaah!). Truly thankful that Jessica was honest. It was so nice to meet her in person; she's exactly like how she sounded on the phone. Such a lovely girl! We decided to wait until my lashes fall a bit. I was able to see Flair lashes on a client today and omg they looked freaking AMAZING! The establishment is beautiful; very modern, clean + welcoming. I am so looking forward to my rescheduled appt a month & 1/2 from today. So Jessica the owner just called me. And I am really impressed with their customer service and clearly they care about their clients. I had reached out via Yelp message with some concerns regarding getting lash extensions (I had my lashes permed 2/3 weeks ago else where + wasn't sure if it was okay to get the extension done). She called me personally to talk to me and address my concerns; I think it's really amazing that she did that! And she's a real pleasure to talk to too. Living in NYC and having been to many beauty places; let's just say a LOT of other businesses can learn a few things from Flair Lashes about customer care/service. I am so excited to go in on Tuesday for a consultation before my scheduled appt on Weds. I definitely now feel more at ease + that I can trust Flair Lashes going forward bc I know now that they care. Lord knows I have trust issues about putting my face into the care of someone's hands; I did extensive research and literally read every review on every business before deciding on Flair Lashes. I'm so glad that I trusted my gut and went with Flair! I'll give an updated review after + if Jessica gives me the green light to get the lash extensions. read more

The last time I had eyelash extensions done, I swore it off because it irritated my eyes, lasted about 2 weeks max, looked fake AND made my own lashes fall off. FLAIR just changed my stance. It has been over 2 weeks..lashes are still full. I love them!!! My eyes never felt irritated during or after the process. Yay, think I just found my new beauty routine! Many lengths and fullness to choose from. I wanted something more natural.. Was worried that I would look like I had false lashes on.. But no way, they absolutely look like my own, only super full.
