Amazing! Love Stella's work, and customer service is amazing- she custom ordered a color for me for my lashes before my first appointment in a cooler tone, and then picked the PERFECT shape! Peaceful quiet studio, open late, very accommodating, many services. I have only gone for lash tint and lifts so far (the first ones I've loved!)- i would love if they were able to do partial sets of lash extensions for a casual look that's less costly and upkeep demanding, but i believe i was told it starts at $90? Thinking of testing them (probably will find my own color lashes if needed lol), but from what I've seen they seem like nice work as well! read more

Came here for lash extensions w Zhima and they look amazing! :) I have single eyelid and my eyelids fold inwards so often it is difficult to make my extensions look good, but Zhima did an amazing job! They look very natural and pretty. They also allow you to customize, and give great recommendations. You can choose the style, length, and curl type of the lashes. I want to update my review because Stella, the manager, gave me a call to explain the situation of the lash artist I had who was new and shy to communicate. Stella kindly invited me back to redo my set free of charge. She was extremely accommodating to figure out what I wanted and did it herself. I did the double set with 12 being longest, cat eye and D curl. It was exactly what I wanted and she said in the future if I wanted to book thru classpass for a fill I could just shoot her a text. My new favorite place for brows and lashes! Found this through ClassPass and decided to try it because I had a discount and loved my experience. I had Queenie, who did my lashes and brows. For the lashes, I got natural lashes (60pc) in C-curl, length of 11. The whole process took about an hour and a half and she was very meticulous. Queenie didn't speak much English, but Stella came over and took the time to explain to me the meanings of the different numbers and options they had. Queenie also showed the different curls and lengths on my eye (one of each lash next to each other) to help me decide what I wanted. I was also surprised by how carefully and well they did my brows. Normally, at places that wax brows in this price range, the service is a couple quick waxes on each brow in ~2 minutes and you're out the door. Queenie took the time to not only wax in smaller parts to maintain the shape, but also tweezed extra hairs that weren't picked up by the wax afterwards, and trimmed the brows to make the shape nice. Stella, who didn't have any more appointments for the day, also came over at the end to make sure I was happy with the shape of the brows and did some magic to make my brows perfect with a few last minute touches. 5 days later, the lashes still look great with no stinging or discomfort in or around my eyes. Everyone at Pure Lashes was very friendly, patient, and meticulous in their work. I've been to so many lash places where sample pictures are shown and the result are completely different, and a lot of places will even upsell you without giving you the design you want. This is the best lash extension studio in NYC. I've tried so many different places over the past five years: Korean, Brazilian, Chinese, etc. and this is the BEST. The lash extension stays so well that it can usually last 2 months without makeup. The glue they use is definitely better than most of other places with no bad smell or irritations on my eyes. The location is beautiful and clean. Everyone is super nice and professional. I also did the microblading with Stella a few months ago and it still looks amazing! I had my waterline Tattooed by Stella. She took her time and did a very good job. I went there twice. The second time I went was for a retouch. It's been over 1 year since the tattoo, and it still looks great. I will revisit her again in 6 months or so for the same tattoo. I should start by saying that I'm really picky about my lash extensions. I have Asian hooded monolid eyes so if the extensions aren't done right they either make my eyes look smaller or the extensions just disappear under my lid. I'm based in Seattle & Boston but got married in NYC so I needed a place that would do beautiful lashes and Pure Lash absolutely delivered. I got the fluffy volume lashes in the "sexy" style (cat eye) with D curl lashes and the longest length was 14 and they are some of the prettiest lash extensions I've ever had done. They really take their time to make sure they get every single lash, and really design it to flatter your eye shape. My eyes looked wider and my lashes looked so glamorous - it was the perfect look for my wedding day! Make sure you schedule ample time to get volume lashes done - I've been twice now and it took about three hours which is a smidge longer than I'm used to but I have no complaints because they're so meticulous. The longevity of the lashes were also great - I'm not great at taking care of my extensions but they still lasted for a long time. It's a no frills kind of place but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pure Lash to any of my friends! read more

I have been coming to Pure Lash for months every two weeks for my extensions. I had an 8am appointment this morning before leaving for a wedding tomorrow and they did not show up. I called to say I was there and WOKE THEM UP. I had to be out at 9:30 for work so couldn't stay when they said they would be there in 20 minutes. The only thing they could offer was to do my lashes at 9:30 tonight which would have me there until 11-11:30pm before flying out in the morning. I found pure lash on groupon seemed like a good deal. It was pure hell ! She removed my old lashes with the remover and I felt instant tangling and burning. She kept apologizing but I was very nervous at this point had to wash eyes out with loads of water. After that she applied lashes and she let me look in mirror. Omg my old faded lashes looked better. I love this place. The hardest part was finding it lol. It's located in a place called "sola salon studios" and once you go downstairs take a left and it'll be in suite #25. Absolutely the BEST eyelash extension place! I never thought that I was going to love eyelash extension and become a regular, since my previous lash extension experiences weren't that great. I've had Stella and Zhima for natural look extensions at Purelash and I must say that they are the best eyelash techs I've ever encountered! I am sure that other girls who work there are great as Stella and Zhima, because all of them are always so welcoming and polite. Unlike other lash extension places in Manhattan, my lashes always stay at least 3 weeks (mine usually last 3.5 - 4 weeks) without loosing majority of lashes or getting messy (you must follow their post-lash extension instruction, which is very helpful to maintain your lashes look great as day 1). I referred a friend of mine who is also Asian and was skeptical since her previous lash extension wasn't great either, but she also fell in love with Stella's technique right away. Got my lashes done by Vivian on Saturday July 13th. I followed all of the rules, I did not wash my face the day of, I did not apply mascara etc. By Monday July 15th over 75 percent of the lashes on my right eye were gone and about 30 percent of the lashes on my left eye were gone. I used a Groupon so Im not sure if that changes the quality of work/lashes. But I can honestly say, this was the first time that I had so many lashes fall off so quickly. I will say Vivian was sweet and accommodating. I had to change my appointment time, last minute and she was able to and I texted her and told her about what happened with the lashes and she did respond right away and inform me that I could come in to have them fix. Because I live in Midwood Brooklyn it is a trek for me to get to Midtown, especially just for lashes. I didn't bother to return and instead went to another salon to get the lashes fixed.
