Doing business here is not like any other bank I have ever been in. This Fourleaf is a large stand alone with its' own parking lot. Only one entrance / exit makes it simple. But... Once you go in, it's a whole new world. Big bright and without a doubt the friendliest bank team ever. Making a deposit, the reason I usually go there is actually a pleasant experience. First, there is NO huge piece of glass between you and the teller which mean you can actually speak to each other. They always wear a big smile and carry a friendly personality. Fourleaf (formally Bethpage FCU) is a pleasure to do business with and their costs are extremely reasonable. I have free checking and saving without having to keep a ridiculous balance. Clearly, I am a fan and recommend this shop. It was also so nice to see a chmage counting machine. The money counted must go into one of your accounts and that really beats counting and using change rollers KUDOs to the team at FourLeaf Federal Credit Union

I received an Official bank check payable to my company, issued by the Royal Bank of Canada,…read moreMontreal Canada and payable through JP Morgan Chase New York. The check was paid in US Dollars and clearly so stated on the bank check. I took this check to be deposited to my account on the 27th October 2023. The tellers keep insisting that the check is in Canadian Dollars, even though the check clearly stated US Dollars. Further the routing number on the check goes to JP Morgan Chase New York. Very frustrated and disappointed I left the bank, since the tellers are insisting it's Canadian Dollars and will take 6 to 8 weeks for the funds to be available. I returned ti the same bank on November 4, 2023, got the same answers again. I then went to another Bethpage Branch in New Hyde Park, and what do you know, they processed my check, scanned it and deposited the funds into my account. This fiasco occurred at the 1145 Willis Avenue Branch. I would suggest that any banking relationship that deviates from the norm, please go to another bank or branch. For sure I'm changing my accounts and going to where the tellers etc understand the banking rules instead of giving their customers the royal run around.

How hard was it for her to open her month and say that this was the last customer I'm about to assist and advised me to go to another teller? This is ridiculous! The employee claimed it was handled. It wasn't. The dispute was filed incorrectly, the merchant was never blocked, and money continued to be taken from my account. I only discovered this after weeks of stress, repeated visits, and being told different stories by different employees. No accountability. No clear answers. No understanding of federal consumer protection rules. Their mistakes forced me to open a new account, file regulatory complaints, and waste an unbelievable amount of time fixing a problem THEY created. If you don't want your finances mishandled by people who clearly don't understand what they're doing, stay far away from this branch.

This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with in terms of customer service…read more I called today because I am selling my house and need a mortgage statement. During my conversation with Sherry, she hung up on me twice while I was trying to get assistance. She told me that I could get the statement through the bank's app. I asked her how to do it and whether she could walk me through the process. Instead of helping me, she said she did not have an account herself and therefore could not explain how to access it. She then told me that if I went to a branch, I would be charged $10 for a statement. I have never heard of such a fee, and she did not provide a clear explanation. The entire experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Hanging up on a customer twice is completely unacceptable, especially when the customer is simply trying to obtain a mortgage statement. The staff clearly needs better training--not only in customer service, but also in understanding the bank's own systems, procedures, and fees. I am very happy that I will no longer have to deal with this bank once my house is sold.

On the way back to the subway station, we detoured to this Capital One branch. They have an ATM lobby that requires you insert a card to access. Security? Keep homeless out? Anyway, it's working as the lobby was clean and did not smell of pee. The ATM worked well and I now have three very new looking $20s. Hooray. Prior to being Webster it was Sterling National Bank and Prior to that Astoria Federal Bank. Know that they announced just recently that there is another change ahead now that they have a merge with Santander. What's is nice about this particular location is the large size and all that they offered including safe deposit area. The hours of operation are very good and have plenty of parking. There is never a wait typically for the teller service, all whom give 5 star customer service. Let's see what's to come, till then consider the location for banking needs.
