They told me their car was broken but I realized they just wanted to get into my car. There is NO SECURITY in this branch and one teller. The other people are in offices and don't pay attention to what is going on in the large branch. I have been going to this bank since 2003 and am shocked that they are so careless about customers. I went twice to report the incident and they ignored me like i was a flea on the rug. Be careful. The library down the street has a security guard. Books are valuable but life is not in West Boca PNC Bank.

We were in and out in less than five minutes, the teller was friendly and efficient, and there was plenty of parking. I do my banking online so I rarely need to go into a branch, but it's nice to know there's one so close to home. Located in the Villages of Oriole Plaza. AVOID 5TH / 3RD BANK AT ALL COSTS ...This is the worst bank I have experienced in 55 years. I…read moreopened an account there last year to get the bonus offer they inundated me with in the mail for months. In February, I deposited a check from my attorney (admittedly not the best signature, but many are like that) for over $10,000. They took the check and it cleared immediately; however their fraud dept. thought the signature was suspicious and placed a hold on the funds. No problem, as many banks do that with large checks for 5 business days. Two days later, I received a notice that they were closing my account, and would remit the balance. A week goes by...nothing. I called and discovered they were waiting 30 days after my last transaction before closing the account. The 30 days goes by (actually 35) and I received a check for my balance; but not including the $10,000+. I go to the bank and waste an hour for the 3rd time, and their fraud dept. says they have the money in a holding account (even though it cleared 5 weeks ago) and wants me to have the issuing bank confirm that the check was legitimate before they release the funds. Waste another three hours dealing with that; after which 5th / 3rd finally apologizes for the 1st time; and says they will reinstate my account and make the funds available immediately. I go to my branch (Palmetto Park & Powerline) the next day and they tell me I need to open a new account, which I did (another waste of an hour). I immediately receive 5 emails from 5th/3rd offering me preapproved credit card, telling me my debit card is in the mail, offering me real estate mortgages, and inviting me to apply for a home equity line of credit. Two days later I go there to see why the funds were still not deposited in the new account. Another hour or so before the branch gets off the phone with their fraud dept. & advises me that 5th / 3rd wants to close my account again and I will receive a bank check for the full balance; but need to come back the next day after the funds are transferred to my new account before it will be closed. I return the next day & no manager; so nothing gets done. Another hour wasted. Today I return to the branch and no manager; so I explode while wasting another hour and 15 minutes before I get the check. I then present it and ask for cash; and they tell me that there is a 2% fee because I am no longer a customer, as they just closed my account. I go to the car and drive it thru the doors into the lobby and turn donuts inside the branch for 5 minutes, take all of their pens, coffee mugs and other promotional items; get a free cappuccino out of their machine and drive away. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK. THEY ARE MORONS AND THIEFS.
