I paid $44 to end up having to clean my own car. There was a spot on my trunk that wasn't cleaned, when I pointed it out the worker just handed me a list of services that were extra cost, such as dog hair and tree sap, both of which didn't apply to me. My vehicle was washed twice because the first cleaning was not done properly. Even after washing it a second time, the car was still dirty. The rear of the vehicle and all the doors were left dirty, just as they were when I arrived. The dashboard was still dusty, the floors were not properly cleaned, and the exterior windows were left with spots and residue that affected visibility. I believe the staff should pay much more attention to detail and make sure the vehicle is properly cleaned before returning it to the customer. I've been to this Flagship location 5 or 6 times now. It's important to set your expectations; this place is a car wash and they do have so even their most expensive option is still a car wash and not a detail. That being said they do have detailing packages available. I think flagship is a great option if you want quality results at a predictable price and time frame. They don't get every spec of dust or crumb and the windows don't always come out stellar. But if you point it out they will take care of it. Anything above that would be a detailing package, which also seems reasonably priced but I'm yet to try. They damaged my car, did nothing to fix it or help us in any way, and then had the audacity to try to blame it on me! I hardly ever post reviews--you can look at my record for proof! But this was Egregious! After cleaning the interior of my sedan the workers simply walked away from my vehicle. I immediately noticed the entire paneling inside the passenger-side door was completely off!See the pictures! My husband went to get someone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The employee's first question was whether we were sure the door was not like this previously or if the damage had happened right then. This was very off-putting--I would NEVER have sent my car in like this![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I even told him he could look at all their camera footage to see for himself. He said he would get some sort of tool to see if he could help put it back, but if we couldn't, we would need to fill out a damage report. That was understandable. My husband only asked again if the employee could help put the paneling back in--no refund, no payment for damages. The employee left for quite a while. While he was gone, my husband succeeded in pushing the lining loosely back into the door. When the employee returned, he did not bring tools, but an iPad with a screenshot of one of the workers mid-cleaning with a very large gap in the lining of the door next to them. I KNOW it was mid-cleaning because they have tracks they put the cars on while they clean, and the car was in the middle of those tracks in the picture. He said we could file a claim for damages but it would most likely be denied since he now had "proof" the damage was there beforehand. He said we probably didn't notice the gap. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was appalled that he would think I wouldn't notice a gap the size of an adult hand![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had inspected the car fully while watching my kids clean it out beforehand because I didn't want them leaving any toys or other items in the side panels of the car doors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He said, "You know you don't pay attention when you're getting in and out of a car. But it was there beforehand."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So I asked if he was accusing me of lying. He said no --just that I didn't inspect my car well enough! I know my car is older, and it has some scrapes and bruises from crazy drivers/parking in the DMV. I didn't complain about any of those. So I asked why would I complain about this if it was already there when I can clearly see they have cameras everywhere?! I even asked to see the entirety of the CCTV footage, including the pictures from the beginning when my family was getting out of the car. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The employee refused! He said he wasn't allowed to show us anything and that he was doing us a KINDNESS by coming out to show us the one picture he did![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He actually accused us of negligence, possibly accused us of lying, did nothing to help us, told us we would get nothing from our claim, and then tried to call one still shot, clearly mid-cleaning, a KINDNESS![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He even said he did it "out of the goodness of my heart!"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked him if he was really trying to be kind, why didn't he even try to help us put it back in like he said he would? [[HIGHLIGHT]]He simply shrugged and told us again that we could fill out the damage report, but it would most likely be denied.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He then took pictures of what my husband was able to partially push back in--even though I did not see him take any pictures of the initial damage. My husband is already on the phone with management but I am afraid they will delete the "inconvenient" CCTV footage that shows our car not damaged. Love the concept of this car wash. But I have to say the quality of work is pretty bad. Today the car wash shut off in the middle of me going through it. Once the belt started back up and I worked my way around the corner, they skipped cleaning my tires, so I had to bring that to their attention. They cleaned my tires and then when I picked up my car from being cleaned on the inside, they didn't even vacuum the backseat, the floor still has stuff all over it. Every time I come here it is last resort for me. I have had obituaries of friends thrown away, low level service and I always come prepared for what I'm expecting is quality. Now I get that there are high school students working there, but when I get there it seems to be more of a social paycheck than the responsibility of holding a job. Parts of my car look great. But they only manually spray one side of the car before you go through. It's been snowy and icy, and there's white stuff all over my (and most) cars. The side of the car that got sprayed is great. The side of the car that didn't get sprayed first by the employee still has all the salt all over it, as if the car was never washed. Not cleaned properly as I believe the vehicle, being on a moving belt, could only receive basic attention. Subjec: Extensive Vehicle Damage and Zero Accountability We took our 2018 Toyota 4Runner--meticulously maintained and always garaged--through the Flagship Carwash in Herndon on July 3, 2025. Immediately after, we noticed the antenna cover had been torn off. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We contacted Flagship the same day, left four messages requesting they review security footage, and received no response--not even a courtesy call.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What initially appeared to be minor damage turned out to be far worse. After visiting the Toyota dealership, we learned that the car wash equipment dented our roof and allowed water to enter the antenna system, requiring significant bodywork and full antenna replacement. Repairs totaled $2,297.99, though fortunately our insurance covered most of it. We still paid $76 out of pocket for the original replacement cover before realizing the full extent of the damage. We also stopped payment on the $36 car wash--a charge Flagship did not contest, suggesting awareness of the damage. What's worse, the damage left us without a vehicle for 10 days, creating serious hardship for our family, which includes a disabled daughter who travels with a medical alert service dog. [[HIGHLIGHT]]To date, Flagship has not acknowledged or responded to any of our communications.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We have made every effort to resolve this professionally, but the complete lack of accountability is unacceptable. My wife and I ate at Silver Diner and after a delicious lunch, when driving out of the parking lot, we saw Flagship Carwash facility. It is huge. We decided to give it a try, so I pulled into a long line of cars ahead of me. Thankfully, the line moved quickly. For the same amount ofn$ they used to have my truck for a good twenty minutes doing the interior. In general, this gets to be a busy place due to the location and volume. However, I have noticed intermittent quality and some surface scratching when using this facility. I have noticed as well that the employees vary quite a bit in their attentiveness to what they are doing. My wife's car had experienced enough surface scratching (I think from reused rags) that I asked her to stop using the facility habitually. I also recently had my car washed there, and similar to another review, there were half hearted cleaning swipes at the rims, and exterior moisture removal. It appeared that in the finishing, the employees are distracted, or are focusing on volume. At this point, I only go if I really have to. read more

I don't usually write reviews but this experience was so bad that I had to write one. I had taken my Nissan versa to this car wash today to get a quick wash but ended up without a bumper! The car went in as a whole and came out without the bumper, apparently the washing pads that they have can rip off your bumper if there is even a slightest gap between your bumper and the car and they won't pay/apologize for the damage! The only explanation they provided was that there was a pre-existing scratch on the bumper and hence they won't pay for any damage! That is the worst company ever. They scratched our car while they were washing it. They said they will fix it, gave a contact number, and never picked up the phone call. It's been almost a month now, and I didn't hear anything from then. We wanted to solve the problem without involving the police or pressing charges, compromising the company. Be Aware with this flag ship locatio. They have broken a decorative piece on the van dashboard while cleaning. They didn't inform me and gave the van after clean up. When i found out that it was broken, i talked to the manager about the issue.
