I've been to this Flagship location 5 or 6 times now. It's important to set your expectations; this place is a car wash and they do have so even their most expensive option is still a car wash and not a detail. That being said they do have detailing packages available. I think flagship is a great option if you want quality results at a predictable price and time frame. They don't get every spec of dust or crumb and the windows don't always come out stellar. But if you point it out they will take care of it. Anything above that would be a detailing package, which also seems reasonably priced but I'm yet to try. I've also dealt with their customer service when I've called their website number. The lady was helpful, friendly and attentive. She made me feel like they valued my business. That encounter was a big reason I continue to go back. read more

Love the concept of this car wash. But I have to say the quality of work is pretty bad. Today the car wash shut off in the middle of me going through it. Once the belt started back up and I worked my way around the corner, they skipped cleaning my tires, so I had to bring that to their attention. They cleaned my tires and then when I picked up my car from being cleaned on the inside, they didn't even vacuum the backseat, the floor still has stuff all over it. The concept is great for the price but if you're willing to get scratches . I have a brand new car so every new ding or scratch I noticed. Left 2 deep scratches on my back left. See attached. Also after the 44$ wash and interior I had to ask for them to do interior again bc they left it not in clean shape which they did, so I appreciate that . Every time I come here it is last resort for me. I have had obituaries of friends thrown away, low level service and I always come prepared for what I'm expecting is quality. Now I get that there are high school students working there, but when I get there it seems to be more of a social paycheck than the responsibility of holding a job. Yesterday evening after a long hard shift, I was certain of one thing and that was getting my car cleaned inside and out. Though I had other facilities in mind ahead of flagship in Herndon on grant st, I got off too late and this was the only place open. I requested the $44 inside out service and instead I got inside the wash and outside with teenager laughing at the inside of my cars mess. The value for what I paid for isn't for me to expect a car to look brand new but I was really hoping some of the chocolate stains and other food marks my 3 year old daughter leaves in my car would have been taken care of of at least kind of. Parts of my car look great. But they only manually spray one side of the car before you go through. It's been snowy and icy, and there's white stuff all over my (and most) cars. The side of the car that got sprayed is great. The side of the car that didn't get sprayed first by the employee still has all the salt all over it, as if the car was never washed. Interior and exterior car cleaning. Second visit with unfortunately the same issues as first time. I have to request, twice in a row, that they remove coffee stains etc from inside car. I pointed out the obvious like the most blatant in-your-face things, no wipe down of the dash or door panels, or smudgy rear window. I paid for and received the exterior and interior cleaning. Vehicle looked great once inside, but with the sun found front, and probably back, had serious soap scum. Not cleaned properly as I believe the vehicle, being on a moving belt, could only receive basic attention. Been here before; staff is very friendly and tries to do a good job, but it's mediocre at best. Paid more here than I would at previous car wash in Maryland with poorer quality. It's convenient but I don't want to rewash my windshield every time I get home. And soap scum on the windshield probably means soap scum on all the other interior windows as well. read more

Subjec: Extensive Vehicle Damage and Zero Accountability We took our 2018 Toyota 4Runner--meticulously maintained and always garaged--through the Flagship Carwash in Herndon on July 3, 2025. Immediately after, we noticed the antenna cover had been torn off. We contacted Flagship the same day, left four messages requesting they review security footage, and received no response--not even a courtesy call. What initially appeared to be minor damage turned out to be far worse. After visiting the Toyota dealership, we learned that the car wash equipment dented our roof and allowed water to enter the antenna system, requiring significant bodywork and full antenna replacement. Repairs totaled $2,297.99, though fortunately our insurance covered most of it. We still paid $76 out of pocket for the original replacement cover before realizing the full extent of the damage. We also stopped payment on the $36 car wash--a charge Flagship did not contest, suggesting awareness of the damage. What's worse, the damage left us without a vehicle for 10 days, creating serious hardship for our family, which includes a disabled daughter who travels with a medical alert service dog. To date, Flagship has not acknowledged or responded to any of our communications. We have made every effort to resolve this professionally, but the complete lack of accountability is unacceptable. We hope Flagship takes responsibility for incidents like this in the future, as no customer should be ignored after sustaining this level of damage at one of their locations. read more

My wife and I ate at Silver Diner and after a delicious lunch, when driving out of the parking lot, we saw Flagship Carwash facility. It is huge. We decided to give it a try, so I pulled into a long line of cars ahead of me. Thankfully, the line moved quickly. When I got up to the pay station, the attendant asked me if this was my first time. I said yes. He tapped the touch-panel and gave me a discount plus the $18 wash. When finished, we passed into the conveyor belt auto-wash tunnel. When we drove out of the wash, we were given a tire brush wipe and then exited the facility. It was quick and they did a good job cleaning the exterior of my sedan. Recommended. read more

I have been actively trying to correct my account information and recoup duplicative charges to no avail. I attempted to correct the issues via Flagship directly for several months. I then contacted the BBB and Flagship's response, two different times, was "we will contact you in 1-3 business days" however I have yet to be contacted. I have been a customer since the Herndon-Elden location opened and this lack of customer service is disappointing but more importantly I am being charged for services not rendered which is suspicious at best and fraudulent at worst. read more

The quality of work they do here has drastically fallen. I had to have the interior of my truck truck vacuumed twice they did such a poor job the first time. For the same amount ofn$ they used to have my truck for a good twenty minutes doing the interior. In general, this gets to be a busy place due to the location and volume. However, I have noticed intermittent quality and some surface scratching when using this facility. I have noticed as well that the employees vary quite a bit in their attentiveness to what they are doing. My wife's car had experienced enough surface scratching (I think from reused rags) that I asked her to stop using the facility habitually. I also recently had my car washed there, and similar to another review, there were half hearted cleaning swipes at the rims, and exterior moisture removal. It appeared that in the finishing, the employees are distracted, or are focusing on volume. At this point, I only go if I really have to. read more

I don't usually write reviews but this experience was so bad that I had to write one. I had taken my Nissan versa to this car wash today to get a quick wash but ended up without a bumper! The car went in as a whole and came out without the bumper, apparently the washing pads that they have can rip off your bumper if there is even a slightest gap between your bumper and the car and they won't pay/apologize for the damage! The only explanation they provided was that there was a pre-existing scratch on the bumper and hence they won't pay for any damage! Be Aware with this flag ship locatio. They have broken a decorative piece on the van dashboard while cleaning. They didn't inform me and gave the van after clean up. When i found out that it was broken, i talked to the manager about the issue. That is the worst company ever. They scratched our car while they were washing it. They said they will fix it, gave a contact number, and never picked up the phone call. It's been almost a month now, and I didn't hear anything from then. We wanted to solve the problem without involving the police or pressing charges, compromising the company. Location just finished a massive renovation to the car wash equipment and supporting machinery. On the exterior wash, they seem to change the process at the cars lead to wash it is more efficient. One thing I do not like about this location versus the other flagship locations the Herndon location has NO complimentary self serve towels or vacuum hoses after the exterior wash. Only get the exterior wash, interior is not worth paying for it. Paid for the flagship package for $40 expecting that they'd at least clean the interior seats and panels besides dusting them with a microfiber cloth. My seats and panels were still dirty and I asked one of the employees if they could spray the leather and clean it and he said they don't do that. read more

Today I purchased the $44, the Flagship Package ($8 more than their Ultimate Package). For years I was very happy with the Delux carwash. I pointed out that I would like all the door jams wiped clean. I was assured that my door jams wouls be cleaned. Here is the problem, I would say about 75% of the jams were cleaned - but the areas cleaned were the areas that one would not have to reach for. Once I got home I got soap and water and finished the job. I was underwhelmed, for spending the $44. Yes, I wil go back... but Only for an Exterior Wash at half the cost. read more
