Of course, a few times we've just walked the length to appreciate Mother Nature's work. Pictures can't replace seeing "this" in person. Sometimes I go out of my way near sunset to drive down this street because the filtered sun through the trees makes the area look absolutely beautiful. The oak trees create a natural arch that gives you a feeling that you are driving through a tunnel and it is beautiful no matter where you enter. To me, this is one of the highlights of St. Augustine and it's just a street! The best part is...it's natural and it's free. It is one of the most photographed streets in the USA...and it's considered to be one of the most beautiful streets in the USA! WHOA! Both are completely understandable. If you are visiting St. Augustine and have been on the Trolley, then I'm sure you are aware of this street since they take you down it and tell you about it. Unfortunately, I see tourists caught up in visiting the Fountain of Youth and other things in that area and disregard the street. This is sad to me and they don't even know what they are missing. If you are planning a trip to this area...put this street on your list of things to see. If you are local (or fairly local) and haven't been down this street...now you have something else to do!

So what the milk mart Consists of is a bunch of vendors and a bunch of local handmade gifts and what not. There were a couple ones that I recognized like fat ash bakes and there is a local girl that does magnets for the mills district she was there as well. However I think my favorite shop of the whole afternoon was a little booth called the shop of many things most of their art was either spooky or Christmasy they also had a whole collection of DND snails which I thought were absolutely adorable. They did have stickers for three dollars and he told me if I bought three stickers that the fourth one would be free so I thought that was really neat. I had a really great time today at the milk bar and saw all the vendors I only stayed for a couple of hours; but if you do you want to attend one of these in the future I definitely recommend coming at least an hour and a half early so you can find a spot to park- I had to park all the way over by colonial plaza near sprouts so it was about three blocks out. 10/10 Recommend the Milk District

I love the tile mosaics of aquatic and Florida wildlife throughout the bridge. I read that this bridge had a makeover and I highly approve. We only passed through Daytona Beach, but this bridge was the highlight of the area. I wish I could have taken pictures as we were driving by!!! This bridge was originally built in 1948 and replaced in 2001 and crosses the span of the Halifax River. It's over 3,000 feet long and crosses over the Halifax River and the Intra Coastal Waterway. A very useful bridge to be sure and allows traffic to flow from the center of Daytona to the great beaches without too much trouble. A graceful structure that just seems to fit without being intrusive. So many large bridges are closed to pedestrian traffic but this fine bridge has pleasant side walks on both sides. Allows for some fantastic views of the water, boats, buildings and even the ocean in the distance. But what really makes this bridge cool is all the mosaics of local marine life that are placed at various intervals along the structure. Some great works of art that turns this bridge into a lot more than just a way of getting over the river. If you go under the bridge you will find even more mosaics on the supports that hold up the huge roadway. Some bridges are just places for cars to go over. This wonderful bridge allows you to see great views in all directions and even some great mosaics of dolphins, manatees, sharks and sea horses. A unique and wonderful example of how to combine art with function

This event takes place every year in March and I've been going to it just about every year as well…read more My plans were derailed this year as I usually go all weekend but I only made it for Sunday. It's held at The Casements, a historic landmark as John D. Rockefeller's winter home. Parking is a challenge but it's doable. I caught up with my friends and danced a bit with them until the break in between programs. There were flute players, hoop dancing, a Deep Woods demonstration (an educational program on how Southeastern natives lived, and even an Alligator wrestling show. I got hungry and walked over to the food vendors. A friend of mine convinced me to get some frybread. For those who don't know what that is, it's flat dough fried in oil and topped with anything from fruit, chili, or something simple like I got, powered sugar and cinnamon. I haven't had this in a lonnnnng time and it was delish. I encourage everyone to go check them out each March.

"Holy shitballs..." was all I could think as I strolled through row after row of food trucks (43…read moretotal...yes, 43) that were competing in this years Food Truck Wars. Coming from all over Florida, they were throwing down everything imaginable, from gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches to gourmet alligator to gourmet jambalaya...and don't even get me started on the desserts. Yes...it was nothing less than a Yelpers wet dream, and I'm so ecstatic to have been a part of it! Entree: I was practically jumping for joy when I found a food truck serving up fresh arepas (Apps Food Truck), since I'm a huge fan of the ones served at Tres Leches in Riverside. I went with the "Arepas Con Choclo," which consisted of melted white queso between two corn cakes and topped with pieces of thick cut bacon. It proved a very wise choice because it was absolutely divine. Made fresh to order, the saltiness and crunch from the bacon paired wonderfully with the hint of sweet from the corn cakes, with the bubbly cheese as the kicker. These arepas were also considerably larger than the ones at Tres Leches and cheaper at $5 a plate. Dessert: The day was hot and humid, so I was in the market for some light frosty refreshment....not that I wasn't tempted by the vast selection of other offerings, such as "apple pie pops" and "funnel cake sundaes." The Sweet City Gelato truck had a sign in their window that they were the "Delectable Dessert" winner from their last competition in May. I ordered a cup with 2 flavors, tiramisu and pistachio. With just the FIRST taste of this heavenly concoction I knew they'd be a shoo-in for the "dessert" category finals...if not the clear-cut winner overall. Now, I've had more than my fair share of gelato encounters, but NOTHING as creamy 'n' dreamy as Sweet City. Fresh, flavorful, not the least bit artificial tasting...I honestly couldn't have asked for better. Wrap Up: I thoroughly enjoyed this years event, especially since I was hanging out with some cool people at the Yelp station! A very big thank you to CM Allie A. and Mr. Yelp Adam for being awesome representatives to the public and gracious hosts to us Yeeps!
