It still looks messy, but there's nothing I can do, except to share my experience with others. A few other residents have expressed their thoughts on the work, and it's not positive. Not one neighbor has said our walkways look good. The workers were nice, but I can't say that they were the most practical or professional crew. I wouldn't recommend this company based upon the job they did, as it's sloppy. I can't blame them for multiple days of chaos, as my HOA president was not even present for the job, and lacks leadership skills. Three stars is strictly based upon the final outcome of a messy job.

I also love a family business which I learned this was while talking to Nikolas. He was the first person we met with, so I didn't know what to expect, but he gave the best estimate right off the bat. The best part is that at the end of the job, the estimate didn't change on me. They did a fantastic job on an excellent timeline. They even corrected some really REALLY horrible patch jobs and previous paint jobs. They left my home completely clean. They could not have been more professional, and just plain nice.

I hired Florida Painting and Design do 2 jobs, a complete exterior at one property and a complete…read moreinterior along with a patio roof at another. Things started out great. They seemed to be go getters and they were very responsive. I actually went with them over other higher priced companies, simply because I was impressed with how they presented themselves. Unfortunately though, even though the guys were well qualified painters, our experience turned sour as time went on. After finishing the interior on job site # 1 in a reasonable amount of time, they skipped the patio roof there and started on the exterior at job site # 2. The exterior at job 2 took much longer than expected. To be fair, weather and their company's Covid complications did play a part in the delays. But on the other hand there were also days where there was a 'chance of rain' that turned out to be nothing and no work was done. There were also a few no show days, where no work was done for no particular reason. These lost days totally sucked. As the job site sat inactive, our house was all wrapped up in opaque plastic to protect the windows. We literally couldn't see anything outside. As the days dragged on and on with no progress, this became pretty irritating. Anyway, they finally got some traction and the exterior at job 2 was eventually finished. At that time, the plan was for them to head back over to job 1 and finish the patio roof. I checked in multiple times over the next few days to see what was going on, but they never started. In fact, they missed multiple promised dates for completion and all I got was excuses. After a while I just gave up. Florida Painting and Design abandoned us and the work we agreed on and they didn't appear to care. For a job that cost over $8000 total, to say that I am disappointed in how this came to a close is an understatement. Overall 3 stars. They undoubtedly do quality painting, however I actually wouldn't recommend them because of the unfinished job, missed deadlines, and lack of communication towards the end of our project.

I'd suggest wearing a fresh pair of gloves to each house if you feel so strongly about that. Yes, Re Nu has many happy customers, but popcorn removal is done by many companies here in South Florida. The estimate was prompt and everything was fully explained. In the end, I didn't want to deal with two companies. Otherwise, I would have gone with Re nu.

The work his company does has always been impeccable and that's why I'm going to be calling him for the fourth time. I felt the need to write this because it is beyond me what I'm reading right now as I know none of it is true. Every bit of it sounds so calculated and repetitive as if it's all coming from the same person. It's sad that people have nothing better to do with their time these days then to try to taint a very kind upstanding professional . I will be calling Southern Textures in the next week for work I need done and I would recommend him to anybody. I actually did recommend him to my mother. He did work for her also. I have taken multiple days off work and rearranged my schedule to make the days they rescheduled work and then nobody shows up. My house has been torn apart for weeks due to the ongoing scheduling issues. They have left me no choice than to post reviews of this experience and file a complaint. I guess we missed that in the contract so beware. 10 year warranty VOID. We had cracked tiles replaced both by Allied one time, and another vendor once they were slow to respond and were more expensive. Yet another gotcha on warranty, so again in order to get the 10 year warranty you need to take pre and post pics prior to yearly cleaning and only use them or get their approval for a simple task like replacing cracked tiles, not roof repairs, but simple tile replacement. All along there was little interest in understanding or addressing the leak, Fix the Blame not the problem. They are indeed correct, I missed the gotchas on the contract, yet the lack of concern for a customer with an aggressive leak who never had a claim until week 51 of year 9 on a 10 year warranty is a concern. They did offer a quote for the repairs, NO site visit they were offering a quote based on 2 pics we sent them, I chose to pass, I advise all to do the same. If they truly believed the leak was from broken tiles they would not offer a quote from pics. They know the valley where garage and roof join is vulnerable, hence the 10 WARRANTY.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Unprofessional and Disrespectful Customer Service…read more If I could give this company zero stars, I absolutely would. My experience was nothing short of frustrating, disappointing, and completely unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment for someone to come to my home and provide an estimate for painting my house. When the scheduled appointment time arrived, nobody showed up, nobody called, and nobody had the courtesy to notify me. My time was completely wasted. When I called the company to find out what was going on, the situation only got worse. I was repeatedly kept waiting, with absolutely no consideration for the fact that I have my own responsibilities and other things to do. My time is just as valuable as theirs, and I should not have to chase down a company that failed to honor its own appointment. To make matters even worse, the woman I spoke with, who I believe was named Anna, had the audacity to call me a "douche" simply because I was frustrated and questioning the company's lack of professionalism. Let that sink in: a customer calls to ask why a scheduled appointment was missed, and instead of receiving an apology or an explanation, they are insulted by an employee. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from any business, especially one that expects customers to trust them with work on their homes. I sincerely hope the owner or manager takes the time to listen to the recorded phone conversation, because they deserve to know how potential customers are being treated. If this is how employees represent the company before a job is even booked, I can only imagine what customers might experience once they hire them. Perhaps the company should spend less time disrespecting potential customers and more time teaching its employees basic customer service, accountability, and professionalism. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They failed to keep their appointment, failed to communicate, wasted my time, and then added insult to injury by being outright disrespectful. A business that cannot honor a simple appointment or treat a potential customer with basic respect has no business expecting people to trust it with their homes or their money. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.

I am talking about John who is amazing and has great follow up. Our work with Restoration was finished in January and we were very happy with the results. There was just one thing that was fixed but really was not and I called John several months later and he came over and try to adjust it and realized it was going to be a bit more work. John sent over Alex who just started with the company( by the way he is awesome) fixed the issue with the closet door we were having. It was not a simple fix and Alex really worked at it until it was done correctly. To me that is what a great contractor should be even after the work is done you can call them after the job is finished and something was not done to your satisfaction that they will continue to support you which Restoration(John did) that builds trust and if we ever needed anything done I would not have any hesitation in calling Restoration besides I have John number on speed dial.
