If you're looking for welding or similar metalwork, your search is over. Go here…read more I recently bought an old steel bike frame with a very poor repair to one of the joints: there was barely any metal holding the joint together, and there was a hole melted in one of the tubes. I was concerned that it'd be hard to get the joint properly repaired, and/or prohibitively expensive. I stopped by Custom Metal Manufacturing around opening time. The workshop is a treasure trove: minibikes, custom signs, and sculptures everywhere. Ed and Gerard were super friendly and great storytellers. Ed looked at the frame, said "I can fix that", and fired up his welding gear right away. Ten minutes of good conversation later the work was done, and at a very reasonable price. The joint is now reinforced with ample steel, and the hole is closed up. Everything I hoped for and more.

He came to us with samples of all his railings. Being able to see the finished product helped us decide what style we wanted. We ended up changing our mind after seeing the samples, so this was really helpful to us. Later on, he came out to measure multiple times--before and after the floors were down--to make sure everything was perfect. He matched the wood to our floor in to help create a seamless look. He was super careful when he installed them not to damage any of the new construction. Everything came out perfectly. The glass railings look beautiful and well worth the investment. I would highly recommend Joey.

We used Starco for several different projects during our recent renovation, from beautiful huge…read morecorten steel planters to custom brackets and hardware for benches and sheds. They seem to be able to make anything. They were great to work with because they were extremely professional, pieces delivered on time and made exactly to spec. Very friendly to talk to, they don't just make the piece you ask for but also help you with trade-offs for functionality and economy of cost. Two examples: - We wanted our steel planters a certain size to fit our landscaping, and the answer was "sure, here's the cost, but if they were 4 inches shorter in this dimension it would be half as much because we could cut the pieces from such-and-such a size of plate without waste". - After our custom brackets for benches were made our contractor messed up the concrete pour for the wall the brackets were installed in. Starco helped us figure out how to use the brackets in a different way, advising about concrete mounting, so the benches worked out great. Then near the end of our renovation I needed a big iron support bar welded in a certain shape for a desk support. They just made it for free! These guys are real pros, and I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
