My mini split would not come on, so I called my home warranty company and they assigned a company to my service request. As soon as I got the email from my home warranty informing me of the change in companies, I called FJ Heating and Air Conditioning. I explained the situation to Jim and he said that he will fit me in, since I had rearranged with work to be home for my AC to get repaired. He showed up within the appointment timeframe, assessed the situation, and fixed it within 10 minutes (it was dead batteries in my controller). He also cleaned my filters and walked me through my unit and gave me information about it that I did not know. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. 10/10 recommend read more

Today I called to see if a repairman could come out to troubleshoot and repair my Propane Wall Heater which stopped working after 3 weeks - after it replaced my older existing Wall Heater. The office manager basically refused to even send a repairperson to look at my inoperative heater, nor send a repairman to see what my issue is due to her various excuses which weren't even an issue, and items of which she had no knowledge of. She assumed items which she was not attentive to during my discussion with her. I basically understood that this business was not willing to assist me with my non-operative wall heater. Disappointment due to fact a new HVAC roof unit was installed a few years back by Jim, and that service was just fine years ago. No Thanks............ I'd recommend a different HVAC provider over this business. read more

My a/c was tripping off, the temp. out here 110 consistently since beginning of June, and working for Cal-Air for about 30 yrs. I know a little about a/c units, and the service side of the business, although commercial. These guys were amazing, out in two das, had the motor and capacitor with, and got me back and running. Love this company. Very friendly and professional and honest. They don't need to advertise, we customer's do it for them. My heat pump would work only for air-conditioning. Jimmy showed me how to change two double A batteries in the thermostat. That's all it needed. I had such a great experience with this company coming to my home. My AC was blowing hot air and my home warranty company Old Republic called them over I spoke to Frankie over the phone and she is so nice she was so on top of things making sure paper work was given to our warranty company so we could get everything working fast and James who came and fixed the AC was so nice and professional he got our AC working quickly . Our heater went out on one of the coldest days of the year...of course. We had a warranty with Sears, but our old unit was almost 40 years old...no, really! 5 Stars, that's what I'm saying! F J Heating and Air performed a full replacement of my in-home units from the furnace right down to the thermostat! WOW can I tell you what is feels like to have such a knowledgeable person in your home and coming in right-on target concerning my budget that provided me with not only 5 Star service, but A++ service!! My home is in Ventura County and I tried to call local AC Shops, and not a one of them returned my call! I reached out to F J Air due to the positive reviews and believe it or not Jim came out from the Antelope Valley area (2 hours away) and performed a full replacement in about five hours!! Jim and his associate were on-time, courteous, & absolutely professionals and again I couldn't have lucked out even more with the system I was left with when Jim was done! Our AC went out on the 4th of July. I called the home warranty and the next morning I was told it would take about two weeks for the repairman to be at my house from XXX repair. I called the warranty company on the 5th they put in an open ticket and FJ grabbed the repair order came to my house with in 8 hrs. I got a diagnosis and parts ordered, the next day new parts were installed and I'm sitting in a cool house again. All this while temps are at 108* I know FJ is very busy because this heat waive yet they fit me in. Great work preformed thank you from a very appreciative family. read more

These guys are amazing! I called Sunday and spoke to Frankie and she was able to get jim out to my moms place in less than 24 hours! Stay far away from these guys. Their work is piss poor. Paid nearly $10K for central heat (1200 sq. ft. - without AC). You don't get what you pay for with them. Their work would not pass inspection. I had to pay another guy $4500 to add AC and redo their sloppy ducting work and replace the plenum that had leakage galore. read more

I am also sorry to read about this bad review and I was compelled to get an account to write a deserving review to an honest company such as "FJ Heating & Air Conditioning" from Palmdale and Lancaster, CA. I have used this company since 2006. They are the most wonderful, respectful, trustworthy bunch of people that I know. When you invite someone in to your home, you always wonder who you are inviting. With this company, I can go to work and feel completely safe leaving my house to them. I also wonder about this bad review, this person's house was a 1200sf house and I have a 3600sf house. They installed a wonderful swamp cooling system and the entire job didn't cost one third of what this person with a bad review said it cost. This company literally saved me Thousands of dollars with the swamp cooler. I myself recommended several friends and they have nothing but good things to say also. read more
