Very easy to make a reservation. I called them to ask about payment, they were very accommodating. Easy and convenient drive to their place, texted them they came out quickly. Fast exchange. So far, so great. Much better price than other options and I would rather drive somewhere not far from my home for a quick exchange than deal with shipping and waiting for delivery. Great, easy experience. Ordered online and scheduled. Paypal. Close to my house. Drove up, called, and he came down and swapped them directly in my trunk. Drove away. Price is about the same as if you did them at Bed Bath Beyond with a coupon (my prior method). But, current options involve shipping fees which are ridiculous, so this works out cheaper (and for me is more convenient and much easier than going into a store -- assuming they even had availability). Some concern about knowing if the CO2 is clean or stored in food safe tanks. They say it is, but without a name brand behind it, can't really feel 100% certain. Also, need to test to see if the swapped cans are full or light. No indication they wouldn't be, but not sure about QC, so will count fills on this first batch and see if it comes in like the official refills do. read more

Dear reader, I assume you're here because, like me, you were constantly going to SodaStream's exchange website and finding that they were sold out. Then, ads for FizzFill started appearing on your Instagram or Facebook feed, so you thought you'd check it out. I am here to tell you that I am delighted that this place exists. I was able to exchange all three of my SodaStream tanks (for $10 each!) for the first time in months. The website was easy to use and the exchange was easy to find as well as contactless. We were running out of gas. SodaStream gas, that is. After months of listening to SodaStream's bad hold music and Trump-esque excuses for breathtakingly lousy service, FizzFill arrived in our life like a literal breath of fresh air. Forget SodaStream citing everything from COVID-19 to "a computer glitch" to The-Dog-Ate-Our-C02-Supply as excuses. Forget being sent to "authorized" SodaStream dealers who looked at me and my empty cylinders as if I were the Coronavirus personified. Poof! A few e-mails and a convenient and exceptionally-friendly (and safe!) curbside pickup, and we are not only good-to-go with six, fresh, full SodaStream-compatible tanks, but we've got an extra $30 in our pockets, thanks to FizzFill's reasonable and non-extortive pricing. I found this FizzFill location on Google. Many of the Bed and Bath locations have closed in my area where I would normally exchange my soda stream cylinders. I reached out the Jimmy with FizzFill and I was very pleased when he contacted me after hours. After a brief conversation with Jimmy, I immediately scheduled and submitted payment for my cylinders. Ok, so yes, the concept of prepaying and picking up at a random house seems a bit crazy. I'm right there with you. That said, I cannot recommend this experience enough! My preset position is that I hate the concept of refilling at a Target and the delivery plans are expensive. So knowing this exists, I'll continue to use this service beyond the CO2 shortage of the pandemic. Jimmy is so friendly and safe! He was so great in communicating prior to the appointment and once there we did a contactless exchange. It was super easy and we even had a little chat while he remained socially distanced. The part of me that wants to ensure I always have a CO2 resource wants to keep this secret for myself, but the part of me that wants to support a good business by a good person is shouting this from the Yelp mountain tops! This is so cool! I am new to sodastream and getting frustrated trying to navigate the exchange program. The process with FizzFill was so much easier, slightly cheaper and hyper local to me so even more eco friendly than mailing back or going to a retailer. The exchange was so fast too once I got there. Make sure you use Google Maps to get to the address, rather than Apple bc Apple takes you to a slightly different place because of the stairs situation which you would otherwise have to trek up! read more

No one seems to have the official CO2 exchange canisters available so tried FizzFill in Silver Lake a try. Just pay for it online, make your appointment, drive up a house in Silver Lake via very tight roads. Then a man magically appears with your filled up CO2 canisters. I've now used this service twice and could not recommend more! From all the big stores essentially not doing refills during the pandemic to the planning and pennies needed for the mailing exchange I was about to give up! Found this service on Yelp and thought what's the worst that can happen at this point. Well I was blown away! Extremely easy, great customer service and very safe! I felt safer using this service than going to any big chain. The Silver Lake location has a locker system which is AMAZING! Can't get more contact free than that! It is a clever idea, and I was desperate. (I have the SodaMod tanks, but can't find anyone to refill them!) So I bought two 130L tanks online and called back to figure out how to get them filled. (The form doesn't work for me, because I had been told they couldn't exchange 130L tanks but could refill them, and the only options on the form are EXCHANGE and PURCHASE NEW--I'm not doing either.) The guy picked up right away, but the call dropped, and I couldn't get through when I called back. ("The Google subscriber you are calling....") He called back, though, but after being patronizing and overly solicitous (so over the top that I think he was trying to be sarcastic without me thinking he was), said he couldn't help and hung up on me. read more

They are the real deal! The canisters actually last longer than Soda Stream exchanges, and soooo much more convenient (and much less expensive.) in a word, what's not to like? I went to Silver Lake, and the entire exchange took :45 seconds. A whole lot faster than Staples, and you don't have to send canisters back to Soda Stream. Normally $12 a canister, but this week I was notified about a Thursday special for $10. I had already pre-paid for 5 exchanges at $12, but FizzFill honored the special and gave me another canister for free. Good folks in the right place at the right time with great value and service.
