Compared to the "other" kitchen supply we went I think they are cheaper and I found a lot more here that I need! Staff are friendly, I only purchased 8 pcs of the container I need, asked for a little discount they said "if I remember it right" 12 pcs of anything you get, gives you 10% off. Parking is a lot. Staff are nice. TIP: They are located at the basement, I repeat basement! Inside wholesale store, do not make the same mistake like me on going inside the Galleria supermarket. Great selection of items. We have been coming here to get Korean style stone soup bowls. The bowls are great because you can put them directly on the stove. This store is located inside the Galleria wholesale market, at the lowest level of the building. Once you enter the wholesale market, keep going straight, and the Kitchen Plus store will be located on the left side- the right side will be the freezer/grain section. I have wanted a good quality clay pot to make some gyeran jjim, but the prices on Amazon and other stores were too pricey for the quality. I finally got one from here for half the price online. I also got some good quality Korean cutlery set. In addition, they take credit cards too. The service was also friendly and helpful. Location: enter the parking lot from Connecticut st and go to the bottom of the parking lot of the galleria until your can't park anywhere lower. Enter the galleria wholesale, pass the registers, pass the freezer and the doors to the store is on the left- you'll see the kitchen stuff inside. They have lots of plates, pots, kitchen stuff... should definitely visit and see the stuff they have then check out the wholesale galleria. We originally came to get a korean chicken cleaver and found the automatic green onion slicer!!!! The price was the same as online (but without shipping costs- so essentially cheaper). After spending 4 hours trying to cut the green onions like they do for korean bbq.... we had to buy the automatic one. We were suggested to consider the manual one due to cost and we were using it for home vs most people buying it for thier own resturants, but we were set on buying it! It was nice of them to have someone carry the machine to our car. If you ever visit a restaurant and want the plate, cups, shaker, etc should visit this place. read more

This is a nice little store, tucked at the bottom of the parking structure and inside a wholesale grocery store. It's a place that resembles Costco, but for restuarant owners, as there is a large array of unique kitchen ensembles. From traditional bean growers, foldable soban, and fancy green onion slicers to your basic bowls, cleavers, and other everyday items, you'll find pretty much everything you need for your kitchen. I'd also note that the prices here are very fair and cheaper than most online stores and supermarket as well. read more

I wish there were a Kitchen Plus in AZ! This is an awesome restaurant supply store which has all your basic supplies for prepping, cooking, and serving. Even if you don't own or manage a restaurant you can still find some cool items you could use around the house. Prices were cheaper than what I've found at other restaurant supply stores I've been to, and they had more of a focus on Asian (Specifically Korean) food prep and cooking items. Need a large hotpot container with a built-in divider? Or Korean BBQ grills and grates? How about some prep bowls for $.90? There's also a decent selection of knives for sale. The only real hassle is that since space is a virtue in LA, the aisles are pretty narrow which can be a pain if you're trying to get to a spot in the aisle but it's blocked by another customer and you aren't really able to pass by. When I need kitchen utensils, I always like to give my business to Kitchen Plus. My latest visit to this store was on February 16, 2019. I was not disappointed and I found everything I came to get. Because the store stocks a lot items, the aisles are very narrow. The staff were very cordial and assisted me in finding what I wanted. There was no problem with parking, plenty of vacant space. On this trip I purchased grill basting covers (different sizes), tongs (short and long), and spatulas. The prices are very low and the material is of good quality. I've been on some cheap dates. Dates who were millionaires, which I didn't know at first, but found out later, by surprise. On one of those dates, a certain man tried to introduce me to this store, however it was closed. I figured it must be really something special, he took me clear across town during Friday night traffic, out of the way (that was when gas was half the price it is now), on the way to a Greek restaurant that he liked. The location was a bit of mystery. It took a couple attempts, but I finally found it. I happened to go there daytime on a Saturday. There's no sign. Go down to the BASEMENT level (drive down, take the elevator or stairs) of the Koreatown Galleria/ Food Wholesale Market, the corner of Western Blvd./Olympic Blvd. Look @ pix, just to the LEFT (NO SIGN WRITTEN IN ENGLISH) hopefully you'll find an open door to a small packed store. They have limited hours, so it's best to call ahead. I have a hunch they don't stay open late during the week, as it looks like it caters to the crowd that visits the Galleria Food Wholesale Market. What I found was a fascinating restaurant/cooking supply store. Their specialty here are Asian items. Many of which are more than HALF OFF the price of Surfa's or Mitsuwa. Perhaps they save on their rent & pass their savings onto the customers. My original intention was to buy some Japanese mesh strainers, which I found, though along the way I also found a beautiful vase, contemplated a glass teapot & oogled over the pots & pans. They have a charming variety of plates, bowls, cups & saucers. I even got distracted by a cast iron sukiyaki vessel with a wooden lid. They had those granite bowls too, the ones that keep your food ultra hot. My greatest find was a Japanese made knife that has a rectangle garlic smasher on the bottom of the handle. It looks like a mini meat tenderizer. It has become my favorite chef's knife. Perfect for making Korean food. Well, perfect for inspiring me to make Korean food. However the truth is, I find myself eating out at Korean restaurants more than making Korean food! Though I can make a decent kimchi fried rice. Even though the lighting was dim & spotty, the staff were well acquainted with their products. There was only 1 person in line the 2x I was there & apparently people plunk down plenty of $$$$$ to purchase cooking items here ($10,000) is what I overheard. And yes, that is what I suppose cheap dates are for. Finding a surprise, downstairs in the basement, a restaurant/cooking supply store, one that I never would have found otherwise. read more

Kitchen Plus has a great selection and reasonable prices. It's a little difficult to find but it's in a plaza where getting lost isn't so bad. There's a market, a florist, and other vendors to check out. To get to kitchen plus you have to go to the lowest level and it's inside the wholesale market. I'm a cooking enthusiast so not a professional on any level lol but I needed some new plates and didn't want to spend $45 on cheap feeling plates. The staff is nice, the quality is good, and so are the prices. I will be returning soon and would recommend to a friend. read more

For a few years I've had the hardest time finding this place until one yelper who wrote on their review with a detailed description made it happen for me. You have to go to the lowest, lowest level in the parking structure and you'll see a wholesale entrance, from there you can ask where it is and someone will tell you. I felt like a kid in a candy store except I was in a kitchen supply store. We ended up buying quite a few things but most importantly getting my green onion slicer and chicken cleaver from Korea. I literally was looking for these particular items online for awhile and had to contemplate if I need to order it from Korea. But luckily Kitchen Plus sold these items and I knew I had to get them ASAP. Why the green onion slicer some people might ask....well in order to get thinly sliced green onions and there's at least 6 bundles of it, it'll take you more than half the day to get it like that and you may cry in the process but with this machine it takes less than 3 minutes. However it does take some time to clean it up, to make sure there aren't tiny slices hiding. As for the chicken cleaver, I've always wanted one after watching Maangchi's YouTube intro but also needed one to cut my whole chicken into smaller pieces for jjimdak. I didn't want to get an expensive cleaver just to get it ruined quickly as well. Overall I'm so glad I finally found this place. Will be coming back to get more Korean kitchen supplies. read more

It's located on the basement level of the KTown Galleria, with an entrance through the wholesale market. I purchased several large stainless steel trays and lids, to prepare and store food in advance for a party. I liked how they stocked several shapes, sizes, and materials (choice of stainless steel, polycarbonate, or plastic). From general catering stuff to woks of all sizes, it's very likely Kitchen Plus will have what you need. Some items have less of a selection (e.g., not many choices of wine glasses), but there is only so much room in the store! The staff was very helpful and the prices were fair. A fantastic store with so many goods. Friendly and helpful staff. Went here in search of an Onggi or Hangari pot for fermenting. Called in advance and spoke to a nice lady who confirmed they have these products. Went in and parked on the roof, such a rookie, I had no idea the parking lot goes even further down near the store entrance. Free parking! Felt safe with the security guards in the parking garage. Lots of foot traffic too so it's pretty safe. It's so easy to miss the entrance to the store, it's below Galleria market and inside the whole sale food store. I had to ask three different employees from Galleria how to get there. Everyone was very helpful and after much trial and error I found the benign entrance to Kitchen +. Basically enter the whole sale store and it's on your left. The item I purchased was 15% off. Thankfully I snapped a photo of the item on the shelf above the price tag/ bar code. This helped the check out process as I was able to show them where I found it and what the item number was. They promptly packaged the earthenware hangari properly boxed up the item and it was a smooth easy transaction. Very well stocked with Korean cooking goods. Restaurant quality but great for home cooks too. I'm excited to make my first red pepper paste. Very professional staff. read more

Most excellent find. That is once you find this place. Entrance is via the parking structure. Through the wholesale Galleria restaurant equipment store, then there's the entrance to Kitchen Plus. If you're a foodie that also loves to cook and entertain then this is your heaven. They have aisles and aisles of Korean cookware. If it wasn't for the fact that we were trying kill time and that it was 100degrees inside... I would have been there longer than the 15 mins it took me to find and purchase my stone pots. Great customer service. Very helpful in finding my pots. They even provide some advice in the tool used to pick up the hot stone pots. Love Kitchen Plus. I will be back! read more

This place is a little hard to find, but it's worth the effort. It's on the ground floor of the Galleria market and you have to walk through the wholesale section to find it. The entrance is on the left hand side. I found some fantastic gems there: an Iwatani EPR-A EcoPremium Burner for $55 (some stores sell it for over $80!), a clay pot for $3.29, and a Butane 4-pack of cannisters for $4.89, and a Korean BBQ Grill Pan for $30. They also have tons of cookware , dishes/bowls, and general kitchen items. The woman who assisted me was pretty nice as well. Highly recommend this place. read more

I can't believe what a find Kitchen Plus is! A chef friend turned me on to it. VERY inexpensive cooking/restaurant supplies for mostly Asian cooking. I found wooden serving platters for under Korean stone pot dishes that I could find no where else in LA. They have lots of general kitchen supplies and gadgets too. Think Surfas but cheap! But if you looking for anything Korean, Japanese, Chinese... go here first. It's a bit hard to find. It's on the P1 level of the Galleria shopping mall at Western and Olympic (1 level below the supermarket). You have to go into the Galleria Wholesale store (sort of like a Korean Costco), and it's in the middle on the left. This spot is a hidden gem. It's in the Koreatown Galleria on the bottom floor. You wouldn't think the place existed when you first set out to go there but lo and behold!! It's pretty exciting seeing what they have. A good number of their supplies meet and can beat Charlie's fixtures prices; but take into consideration that it is more Korean/ Asian cuisine specific kitchen supplies. It's amazing how much stuff they can cram into this space. Fantastic prices on everything from everyday plates to Asian style plates, to every utensil you could ever need including a wall of tongs, strainers and spatulas, to all sizes of woks, pots and pans... including colossal pots big enough to climb into. They have Sushi boats, food storage bins, an entire aisle of glasses, traditional Asian clay cooking pots, appliances, bar supplies, aprons, cleaning supplies... just about anything you may need for the kitchen in your home or restaurant. It's so much fun just to go up and down the aisles and see all the neat things you can buy for much much LESS than if you went to Williams-Sonoma or Surfas. Very helpful, no-nonsense staff will help you find what you need. Double bonus is that the store is located INSIDE the equivalent of a KOREAN COSTCO with bulk sizes of rice, giant tubs of soy sauce, cases of frozen scallops and seafood, and pounds of spices and noodles. I agree with Christine P., Collen's review very helpful but I still had some trouble finding it and had to look a bit. First off the Korean Galleria is a bit different from other "mall's" it has a total of a 5 levels each with a parking section at a Galleria section. The ground floor when entering the structure is P3, there are two levels above it and two levels below. KitchenPlus is on P1 all the way on the bottom and SEPARATE from the main galleria in the fact that it does not have a direct connection inside the Galleria area. P2 is the level Galleria Market, which is connected to the Galleria. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As for the Wholesale store, there is actually two parts to it. First the main section which contains produce, frozen goods, and food based items. The second part is within the first section and contains all the Kitchen utentils, pots, pans and general restaurant supply. In all honesty, this wasn't the cheapest wholesale store I've been too as there are other wholesale stores that are definitely cheaper prices for your business needs. I do however like that they have a lot of Korean restaurant items that are not as common in other Wholesale stores. In that sense it's truly "a hidden gem". Check it our for yourself, there is definitely interesting stuff in there, but if I am really serious about buying supplies for my business I'll go elsewhere. read more
