He stated he could build my gate, then stated he hired a company to build the gate and it would be ready that Monday. I spoke to him on Friday about building the gate. He agreed to having my brother installed the post because he couldn't start on the gate right away. Mr. Hopkins lied about contracting a company to build a gate that would be ready Monday. The gate was not ready Monday; he didn't hire any company to build the gate. Mr. Hopkins continued lying, giving excuses about why he couldn't put the gate up. I asked him repeatedly. Do you have the gate? He kept telling me yes he had the gate on the phone but he would have to call me back. He didn't have the gate but was lying to buy time. Finally (after 3 days of BS) he said the frame was built, and his worker had to put the chain-link fence on the frame. I went to pick the gate up with my trailer when I got there he showed me a piece of junk that he had welded together. It was not professional; It was Sub standard. The chain-link on the frame was crooked. I told him I didn't want it and I wanted my money back. Mr. Hopkins stated that I broke the agreement because my brother installed the post for the gate which is a total lie. He stood right in my brother's face and agreed to my brother installing the post for the gate. This man lies so much he forgets what lie he told. All I wanted was a gate installed. All I got was lies and deception. He couldn't even remember the price he quoted for the gate. All he wants is your money. All the offers is lies and trash. The gate he built was from old material and he spray painted it to make it look like it was New. It looked like something from a metal scrap yard put it together and claim it was good quality material and workmanship. I have pictures of the gate he built, and I will be filing a lawsuit against him in small claims court to get my money back. Don't use this Liar for anything!!!

I did not have a good experience with this company. I paid for a cedar fence to be put in and not…read moreeven a year later its wobbly and falling apart. I reached out to them and they said it wasn't their problem and that I would have to pay to have it fixed. I went to another company who confirmed that the fence posts are the wrong length which is why the fence wobbles so much and they didn't use cedar which is why bugs are eating the fence already. All of the reviews of this company were good but they hired a local contractor to put the fence and nobody from the company ever actually came to inspect the work that was completed. I dont think this company actually cares for their customers or have any pride in the work that is being done in their name.

February 2011 - Post near garage begins to heave…read more 6/17/11 - Gate hinges fall out of a different post which is stripped/split & needs to be replaced. 6/18/11 - Initial call to Beverly Fence -- I'm told by girl who answered the phone that I have a 25 year warranty and that someone will call me back or come out to fix it. 6/22/11 - Follow up call. Told by Dan (the owner) that he'll be out to take a look. Around 7/11/11 - After multiple calls made (no answer) & messages left between 6/22-7/11, Complaint filed with BBB, online reviews initiated. 7/15/11 - Email rec'd from Patrick (new employee in the sales division at Beverly fence) after finding my online review telling me he'd like to be of assistance in resolving the matter. 7/16/11 - Visit from Patrick where he took photos & made assurances he'd do his best to help resolve the matter while commenting that he didn't recognize the (5 year old) hardware as theirs. He's been with the company 3 months. 7/18/11 - Sent an email to Patrick asking if there is any news which was answered with an email from Patrick that I would need to provide paperwork from 2006 proving that they did the fence installation. 7/22/11 - Dan (owner) has a consultation with my mom where she lets him know she has gotten better quotes & expresses concern over using their company because of how my problem is being handled. Dan sends Chris (his brother) over to my house to screw the gate back into the split wood. Gate is screwed in & left with a large gaping area at the bottom. Chris confirms it is, in fact, a Beverly fence & that the posts do need to be replaced. I express my unhappiness to Chris. He apologizes on behalf of the company but says he can only do what Dan tells him to do. Dan drives by after telling my mom he was on his way to my house to "make sure it's been taken care of" ( I was sitting in my car in my driveway & watched him drive by twice), but does not stop or get out of the car because he "does not want to deal with it" (his words to my mom). Dan calls my mom after driving by & tells her "If you sign a contract with me I'll fix your daughters fence". Yes, that is extortion. No further contact since 7/22/11 as of 8/3/11
