Not what you'd expect for the money, but fine for what you expect for the place. Decor is well-large room with tables and TVs. Nothing wrong with that, but $33 for chicken dinner? The beef dip is only OK. It is a bit small, and bread a bit dry and the Au jus watery and overly salted, but hey, I've had worse - not for $18. But I've had worse at $12. It was hard to get over the shock of seeing the menu prices. These prices would be fine at a Fairmont Hotel, with the accompanying food quality, atmosphere, and service. At a Super 8 Hotel, they seem way out of line.

Only complaint is the poutine both on the same size, and cheddar cheese not curds . Disappointing when you pay extra!

Beef is not shaved, but not tough or chewy - pure, tender beef. The au jus is more like a thin gravy, but at least it has a beefy flavor. And the nice thing is the bread actually fits in the dish so you can actually dip the 'beef dip'. (Surprising number of restaurants don't consider this) Service is a bit slow but they are accommodating.
