This fixstop was amazing. My phone had a terrible fall two days before I was going out of the country, and since it is an older phone no one had the necessary parts to fix it. It ended up only being the screen that needed to be repaired but it was assessed & fixed within a couple hours. I just went to the Alafaya location because I shattered my iPhone screen by accident. The two employees that were there were really sweet, polite and prompt with my repair! Omg! I just arrived 20 Minutes before they closed and they gave me the options between wait or pick it up the day after. I preferred to wait and they were really professional and understanding. My review is about the FixStop in Alafaya. This place is run by a bunch of youngsters that totally lack the experience on how to professionally operate a business specially when treating a client that caught them red handed lying. Left my TV for repair because the image was completely white. A few days later I receive a call and I am told that the TV is ready but that they want to keep it one extra day to perform a 24 hrs diagnostics. The next day I pick up the TV, the associate that was at the store did not offer me to turn it on to verify it so and I was in a hurry so I just trusted them (big mistake). I get home and and it results that the TV was not fixed at all and even worse! It was assembled back incorrectly, the TV wobbles in its stand and it is missing screws. So I am scratching my head thinking how can they tell me they ran a 24 hours diagnostic and not have noticed that TV had not been fixed at all to start with? In my opinion they clearly they just replaced the part that was at fault in a rush, assembled it fast and did not even bothered to test the TV before calling me. I call immediately and I am told to bring the TV back! (Like if it was easy to carry it and transport it) I am not even offered to make up for the bad service to send a technician home! I bring the TV once again to the store and trying to be as polite as possible I explain them my point and ask them to take the part they ordered out and ask them for a refund since at this point they completely lost my trust in their service. I turned the TV on in front of them showing the problem and the person in charge immediately goes on a rampage of excuses trying to contradict me when I am clearly showing her that the TV had not been fixed. Unable to contradict the facts she tells me that it could only be a setting and they goes to ask me if I know anything about TVs!!!!! Totally rude! At this point the conversation had turned into an argument and I bring the fact that I was not offered to see the TV working before taking it the first time and I am told that they don't do that unless requested by the client!!! (So they expect you to pay them and not even offer to show you that they performed the service! Totally unprofessional!) Finally when I explain that I could not believe that they did a 24 hour test without noticing that the TV was not fixed the person in charge takes a position of being offended accusing me of calling her a liar saying that she was present during the test and that the TV was working. I explain to her there is no way for me to corroborate that since I was not there and insist to look at the facts and that is that the TV had not been fixed. Totally unprofessionally on their part. They try to take advantage of the client assuming we don't know about electronics and that it is easy for them to sell us any kind of lie they can come up with. Had to leave my TV with them for they to take the part, I am requesting for a refund which I don't know at this point they would do so I am looking for legal help already. Needed my Samsung tablet screen to be repaired. Cost was 90$. Isabella was wonderful with handling the getting everything set up and scheduling my tablet to be repaired. Bader (think that's how you spell his name) was great at fixing my tablet. Haven't had a problem with it. Brought it in at 3pm and he had it done by 430pm that day. I sent my iPad in for repair twice and they sent it back each time saying it was fixed but it is still broken. I've sent them videos of it not working. And I have now contacted them in response to my order multiple times over the past few weeks and they will not respond nor honor my request for a full refund which they're website states a 100% guaranteed refund if they don't fix it. F I live close to this location. I dont like to negatively review a business but there is no way of sugar coating my experience with this location. If they are conscientious and truly into improving then hopefully they will read this as objectively as i am writing this. I read the reviews and although they were all about phones I decided to take my lap top to replace a motherboard as they stated they fix computers. They had it 2 weeks and did not fix it. I had to chase them as they blew through every timeline when they said they would provide status info as to what the issue was and when I would receive a fixed computer. Contacting them by phone would roll over to a different store. It was one excuse after another. There was no communication within their team as to what was going on. The whole experience was very unprofessional and shady as they hide behind a curtain and whisper. Typical geek scene with no people / social skills and no one taking ownership. As of this date I still dont know who is the manager / administrator for this business as they leave it to kids that have little to no customer service or problem solving skills. They may be good at phones but if it requires something more than a cracked screen you should be wary of this location. read more

Okay, so let me preface this by saying all of the workers are incredibly nice and I'm sure they mean well but they don't know what they are doing. This is also only in regards to the Fix Stop on Alafaya. I have been totally jipped. On April 20th I got a cracked screen repaired on my iPhone 6. I didn't have any real issues with the phone afterward other than there being a section towards the top of the screen where the colors looked a little off, but I through on a life proof case and just let it go. Didn't bother me that much. So 1 month later, I dropped my phone. The drop wasn't bad, but it's the only thing I can trace back that could've even triggered this issue. Throughout that day the phone's screen would go in and out until eventually it completely blacked out but it was still capable of getting text messages and phone calls. Still vibrated and made noise, everything I just couldn't see anything. The next morning, I realized the screen was actually still working it was just really, reaaaalllyyy dim. I was able to see everything on the phone very faintly if I got under my covers. Luckily, because of that I was able to back up everything on my old phone to transfer it to my new one. Just like the other reviewer who had the same issue, I looked up reasons this could happen and apparently if you use the wrong kind of screw it's possible for the backlight component to get damaged. Obviously, I do not know for certain if that is what happened, but it's the only thing that makes sense to me. Fast forward another month, June 20th exactly, I took my phone back to fix stop on alafaya to see if they could repair it. I explained everything and one of the workers even said that they had had that issue before so I felt assured that they would be able to fix it. I just picked the phone up yesterday since they called the day before saying they couldn't fix it. When I picked up the phone, it wasn't even in the same shape that I left it. The sides were lifting off of the phone so I mentioned it to them and they applied some sort of adhesive and they told me to just hold it tight until it dried -__-. Once I got to my car I noticed the two pentalobe screws that are supposed to be on the bottom of the phone weren't even in there. This wasn't the reason the sides were lifting though, the screen they put on there just two months earlier was splitting and falling apart, hence the adhesive glue. At this point, I was so annoyed so I just left and went home. The phone has been opened since I left them and not only are the pentalobe screws necessary to keep the front screen on missing, but there are screws and brackets missing from the inside! I am beyond irritated. I have fixed iPhones before and it is in NO way a difficult fix. The only reason I didn't fix it this time is because it would have costed me more to purchase the screen myself than to take it to a repair store since it's still a fairly new iPhone so parts are as expensive as a repair. In hindsight, I should've just went to Apple. The fact that screws were missing and they completely forgot, or stole, other screws and brackets from inside that are obviously there for a reason just shows how careless, shady, and unprofessional this establishment is. When you're working with cell phones that are by no means cheap, that is not the time to be careless. I will not ever go back to this place again and I will make sure that no one I know ever goes either! **After looking at the phone AGAIN and even taking it to another cell phone repair place I have been informed that it is evident that they were also using some sort of metal pry tool to lift the cables -__- REALLY? Anyone that does cell phone repair should know to use either a plastic pry tool or your fingers at the very most not metal! read more

I am a US Army Retired Veteran serving this great country for 21 years and I have to now deal with dishonest, lack integrity and overall untrustworthy people like this shop. Please tell me is this the way Americans do business? I am sure that there are standards in business practices. It's not so much the money but the lack of accountability. First I give the place an F below minus They have the worst techs, they corrupted my computer files I got cursed out by one of the techs. Isabelle the owner told me that I am "F" crazy and full of S. All of this just because I wanted them to correct the problems that they caused on my computer. Before I paid they were nicer than ever but after I paid and took my computer home where I discovered my hard drive files were corrupt. Not only did they corrupt my files they installed an expired copy of windows on my PC. These people should not be in business. When I told Isabelle the owner that I was going to pursue a lawsuit she begins to curse me and call me all kind of MF;s I told her that the call is being recorded she told me that she doesn't give a S because I couldn't use the recording in court. Now I having to go forward with my complaint with legal actions. Save yourself some headaches take your electronics to a reputable reliable electronic shop. None of these people are certified A+ Technicians. Besides these people are not part of a corporation this is their only store and they have no clue how to deal with customers.
