Believe the "ALL CAPS" review below. At first I was skeptical (how great can a iphone repair place really be, right?) but after my experience with FixmyiPhone, I'm feeling pretty ALL CAPS about my life right now. I get it BM, I get it now. Rewind: Last week I was walking and doing something on my phone (not the smartest) when a whip-fast teenager in a hoodie side swiped me, attempting to snatch my phone. Lucky me! He didn't steal it. Not lucky me! It smashed to the pavement and the screen to bits. Booooo. I made do for about a week because getting your smashed iphone screen repaired is not high on the list of fun things to be doing. I didn't even really know where to start. I tried making a few appointments and looked into some shady cornershop/drycleaner/keymakers -- but I got discouraged (or ignored) and thus viewed my virtual life through splintered glass for about 1.5 weeks. Finally, I'd had enough and I made a call to Fixmyiphone this morning after consulting Yelp and vowing to get this damn thing fixed. Hence the ALL CAPS review. OK, fine, let's do this. The guy that answered was really helpful (asked about the details of my phone), very friendly, and I made an appointment for later in the day to visit. You can also just pop in. I showed up at said time, handed over my busted piece, and about 8 minutes later walked out with a good-as-new iphone. They'd given me the wifi password and I was just sinking in to some email and BAM, already fixed! My life is so much clearer now! The two guys working were really cool, and very polite and helpful. Not really what you are expecting at phone shop, to be quite honest...so it was a really pleasant surprise. Legit dudes with great customer service. Repaired for about £99. Logistics: This shop is not plainly visible from the street. Go to the address (big teal "10" on the glass door), enter door, and either speak to security guy or just go up the short stairs and to the right and you'll find it. Then you'll be in business. My experience was so easy I'm sort of kicking myself for waiting so long, and also half wishing I have this issue again so I can go back. Weird? Yes, weird. Ok, I don't want to smash my screen but if you are reading this you probably have a biffed one, so you should get yourself over to these guys and get on with your life. Action items for me: 1. Buying a solid case for this iphone, RIGHT NOW. 2. Don't walk around idly with your iphone out, it might get nicked. Thanks guys! A real pleasure, indeed. read more

I was VERY impressed with this place. This is everything that every phone store should be, but somehow fail to manage. First off, getting here is a bit complicated as there isn't a sign for the business at the entrance. Look for the teal number 10 and then ask the security guard. The phone store is quite a nice little shop with some comfy chairs for while you wait. Though you wont be waiting long! I was really very shocked when they said that it would only take 15 minutes. I've had phones repaired before and they normally tell you to come back later or wait for an hour. Nope, not here. The service was speedy and quick and of high standard. To get the screen replaced on an iPhone it cost 109GBP, which isn't too bad. It also comes with a two year warranty. Though I don't think that this warranty includes if you break the screen yourself, but does include if something else happens like the screen pops off. This is a great place and I would definitely recommend that everyone use them. Gone are the days of shading backstreet phone repair shops. read more

Picture this: I'm about to go abroad for nearly three months, and my iPhone battery is dying, only four days before I'm due to leave. Shit, what do I do?! Enter John, my knight in polo shirt! I made an appointment late on Tuesday night and took the phone in on Weds morning. John was very friendly and reassuring to my panicky self, and within about half an hour he had not only installed a new battery, but also cleaned a bunch of gunk out of the charging port - all for a HELL of a lot less than it would have cost to buy even a second-hand replacement iPhone 6! Just over a month later, and it's still working perfectly, with the new battery holding its power just as it should. I guess all that remains for me to say is that John and his Fixmyiphone partners should be the first port of call for any Londoner who's having iPhone problems - you won't regret it! read more

I managed to drop my iPhone 6 down the stairs this morning - pretty much detaching the screen from the handset. A disaster considering I had a plane to catch later in the afternoon... I was recommended this place by a colleague and they did not disappoint. Tucked away in the corner of an office building in Clerkenwell, they repaired my screen and fitted a protective glass screen in around five minutes. The damage; it cost £125 but I've got my phone and it's with me for my flight. So far, it's working absolutely fine too. UPDATE: The LCD on my screen got damaged and these guys replaced the screen free of charge - no quibbles - under the two-year warranty. FANTASTIC service. read more

After reading some good reviews online and from fellow Yelpers I thought this place was worth a shot. I'd broken my iphone screen the previous day trying to clean the camera lens. That will teach me to mess about with electronics. Anyway, I booked my appointment online for around 8.30am when they open. I arrived and did so just as they were opening up shop. They took my iphone after a short explanation of what I needed fixed and I sat down to read some comics. The Dark Knight Returns no less, a fantastic comic. Anyway, 10 minutes goes by and out one of the guys comes with my phone, it certainly looks great, the screen as crystal sharp as the original. I pay via Mastercard and leave pretty happy. However it then strikes me to properly test all the features around the screen, the mic, front camera, proximity sensor. I tried a test call holding the phone up to my face, but strangely the screen did not turn off like it normally does. Anyway, I returned to the shop and they immediately acknowledged this was incorrect and hastily set upon a fix. 5 minutes later (these guys are damn fast!) and I believe they had taken the proximity sensor from my old screen and successfully installed it in the new screen. So I'm now left with a perfectly functioning screen that is impossible to distinguish from the original. Wide Viewing angles, oleophobic coating are all there. Maybe the front camera is slightly mis-aligned but that's cosmetic. In all I'm very happy I came here and will be back should I have any other repairs to carry out. However with any service, never presume a fix is completely successful until testing what you can by yourself. Repair guys are busy people and sometimes attention to detail is missed. read more

I honestly wish I could give this place a higher rating! Their customer service is above and beyond. I first went in because I had dropped my phone in the toilet and they repaired it (something I was sure wasn't even possible). But unfortunately the store got burgled before I had a chance to pick up my phone. Tragically my phone was taken during the event but they replaced my phone for the exact same model that very same week and because they couldn't find a white one they turned it from black to white... possibly by means of magic. When the lock button didn't work I went back to them and again they fixed it for me. They did all of this free of charge and have been so friendly and sweet through the entire ordeal! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone they are that brilliant! read more

I was in the slough of despair ( my new home in North London) when I realized it wasn't that I forgot to charge my faithful old 3G but that it had apparently gone the way of Monty Python's parrot: passed on, no more, ceased to be. I did some quick research to find places that might have a look at it and revive it if possible. After comparing reviews, I opted for Fixmyiphone in EC1. I didn't call, just walked in, was greeted by a friendly face and less than 5 minutes later the problem (an obstruction, easily removed if only I'd looked more carefully instead of flailing about in sheer panic) was fixed. I met both partners, who were extremely helpful and got good advice about where to buy a newer phone and avoid stolen goods when I want to upgrade. Mixed experience. On one hand, they repaired my phones quickly and I trusted them to give me a good price and know what they're talking about. Buuuuut.... the repairs didn't work. 2 dead iPhones, brought back to life, but they died again. 2.5 months later and Fixmyiphone have finally given up and returned them (broken still) and refunded me. read more

FIX MY IPHONE IS THE ONLY PLACE YOU SHOULD EVER CONSIDER GOING FOR IPHONE REPAIRS. THEY ARE NO NONSENSE, FAST, HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, HONEST . . . AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY HAVE THE BEST PRICES IN TOWN. I know this because I shopped around. A lot. I had just moved to London when I cracked my screen, and many of the companies were quoting me about 140-150 Quid to repair it. I thought that sounded high. One of the iPhone "specialists" (just around the corner from Fix My iPhone, in fact) quoted me nearly 200 Pounds for a screen replacement. They said -- apparently detecting my American accent -- "That's just the going rate in central London." Bullsh*t. Fix My IPhone did it for a much better price, and they did it in about 15 minutes. Tiago, one of the technicians, is the nicest dude you would want to meet, and he knows his stuff (I've subsequently heard from another happy Fix My iPhone customer that some of the other iPhone "specialists" go to him when they can't get the job done). Not to belabor the point, but THERE IS NO NEED FOR YOU TO SHOP AROUND. I'VE ALREADY DONE IT, AND FIX MY IPHONE IS THE BEST YOU'LL FIND IN LONDON, OR ANYWHERE. read more

I can only reinforce all the other rave reviews on here! I dropped my iPhone 5 on Thursday afternoon and immediately came across fixmyiphone online because of all the positive reviews. It was a little out of the way for me - but a pleasant 25 minute walk from my university. John was half-way through a meeting but greeted me very sweetly and immediately attended to my screen repair (he was done within 15 minutes) while I sat in the adjacent lounge. All you could ask for! warning: this is by far the least professional company i have dealt with. i made an appointment to have my screen repaired, went there 1 week later and after 40mins wait at reception i'm told they dont have any screens in stock. and no apology at all.... one of the guy said i don't care. horrible experience read more

This shop is filled with competent, pleasant and genuinely kind workers. My phone hadn't worked in a year and having just lost my active phone, I resorted back to the old one to see if I could give my iPhone 4S another shot instead of buying a new one. These guys treated me with incredible kindness, fixed my phone, offered to work on it on the spot and overnight and emailed me as soon as it was repaired. They even offered to get me coffee on the house while I waited. Frazzled customers came in with broken phones as I waited and they calmed them down and solved their problems too.
