The experience at the shop is very high end and she uses/sells great products, but she hasn't increased her prices so it's still very affordable. I book my appointments months in advance because she's always in high demand these days! I will never go anywhere else in the metro for my brows! She is extremely talented, always expanding her skill set as an esthetician, and totally "gets it" when it comes to brows and skin. I wish I had been going to Maria since my first brow wax as a teen 100 years ago. Pro tip: if your teenager wants a brow wax for the first time, DO NOT take them to just anyone. Go to Maria to make sure it is done right and doesn't mess up their brows for life! They'll thank you someday.

I am always hesitant to believe online reviews, but I took a chance on Skinology Skincare. So glad…read morethat I did! I have tried three other quality salons for facials and Skinology was the best by far. The skin assessment was on target, excellent products used, etc. The facial was far superior than the other, more expensive, facials. It was a great facial. Kylie did not push products but was happy to discuss the benefits. I will definitely be going back!

I upgraded to the Signature Facial (only $5 more) and seriously have never had a facial that truly made a difference in my skin even a couple of weeks after I had gotten it! Kylie was very professional and knowledgeable. I felt the value of the services I received was well worth what I paid. She went the extra mile during my service and included things like a hand and arm massage, complete with warm mitts. At the end, she gave me a generous sampling of products that she recommended for my face with an explanation of how to use each. There was no sales pitch, just honest knowledge about what she believed I needed for my skin. I liked several of the products and feel that pricing on each is fair, considering I can already see the results. I have already recommended Skinology to several friends and will be returning very soon!

I looked at Glow KC online and booked right away. Kelsi's set up was professional and quick while being thorough. She talked me through the whole thing and sent great prep and care tips. My tan looked natural in person and made me look great in photos. 10/10 would recommend! Wish I lived in KC and could make Glow KC a part of my regular routine!

Salon Burget is a hidden GEM!…read more The salon: Do not let the exterior of being in a strip mall fool you. The interior is stylish, inviting and cozy. The stations are clean and spacious enough to feel like you're not imposing on anybody else who is getting their hair done. The service: I get full or partial highlights + a cut about every 6 weeks and if you don't have the right stylist it can be pretty hard on your hair. This was the case before I found Makayla! I've been to her 3x now and she's a wonderful stylist. She brought my hair back to life and the appointments have all been very relaxing and enjoyable. She is incredibly sweet, thoughtful and funny. There's about a 15 year age difference between us and we get along just like old friends. She is also a great listener and always wants to make sure she had my cut and color exactly as I wanted it. 10/10 - I'm so happy I found a stylist who can tame my unruly hair and make sure I have a nice time while doing so. Attached is a picture I took from inside the salon right after a cut & partial highlight.

I have sensitive skin and (even with threading) will break out and then stay red for hours like I have been attacked with a red sharpie by IT (the clown). Rachel has cured 2.5 of the 3 issues that keeps me from containing the brows as they should be. I no longer break out in those little whiteheads the next day, and it is relatively painless to the point where I don't dread going. Even her online scheduling has kept me in line to where I want to frequent her every 4-5 weeks. As for the redness, there may not be a cure-all, but I no longer have to hide from the general public 6 hours later. The post-waxing clownesque redness that my German heritage has provided me is subdued within 2 hours, allowing me to walk my dog in all weather conditions, not just those where a ski mask is acceptable. If I could give 6 stars to Rachel, I would.

I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to get in to start the tan. I've been other places that end in an orange tint. I've never had an odd tint at Image Sun. For the tanning beds, the beds are cleaned after every person, and they know what beds you prefer. If the beds you prefer are not available, they suggest an alternate that works just as well or better. All in all, their people are so professional and fun, and their equipment is taken care of and everything is so clean, it's a great experience that I would recommend for anyone wanting any of the services they provide.
