They couldn't show me anything, only a text message they had sent. I checked their website and Terms & Conditions afterward and couldn't find a cancellation fee mentioned anywhere. I told the manager I was objecting on principle. She told me I "can't afford it," said I'm not allowed back in the salon, and said that because I had pushed back she wouldn't refund the fee. The manager said I was lucky they only charged me 50% and if I wanted they could charge me 100%. When I asked to speak with the owner, staff refused to give me their contact information. Asking to reschedule shouldn't get you an insult and a ban. Before you book here and leave your card on file, be aware of how they treat customers whose plans change. I'll update this review if the owner makes it right.

I have a pretty crazy schedule being a mother of three, and a medical student, and I had forgotten about the appointment. I texted Tamara (owner/operator) to let her know that I would be a little late (about 15 minutes), and asked if we should reschedule or not. She rudely responded, "You better hurry up. No cancellations per groupon." I got there, she was actually nice in person, final product of the lashes was just OK. They were long and sparse, and I specifically said I wanted thickness over length when she asked me my preference on the end result. I bought an eyebrow wax while I was there - it was overdone, and painful. She then proceeded into pressure-sales of the very expensive "but absolutely necessary!" Xtreme Eyelash products (non-waterproof mascara and a lash brush.) Fast forward to the optional lash fill four weeks later that we had scheduled. This time, an hour before the appointment, I decided to opt out of it because I was just too far behind with my school work. I knew, due to our previous interaction, I would not be able to reschedule. I made the choice to prioritize my school work, so that I could spend time with my children this evening when school is out, and I sent her the text message that I wouldn't be able to make it due to professional conflict, and that I understood completely per the groupon rules that I would not be issues a reschedule or refund. She texted back, "24 hrs notice would have been appreciated." I was appalled at this lack of professionalism and of course texted back, saying that I didn't understand the need for her response, that I had given her as much notice as possible and understood that I wouldn't get a refund or rescheduling opportunity, and reminded her that I had already paid for these services that I was choosing to opt out of. She sent yet another message to me saying "Common courtesy, u know." I let her know at that point that I would be posting this review, and that she had lost me as a client. She sent other messages before I finally had to ask her to not contact me again. I honestly am shocked that this kind of hostile personality can actually keep a service oriented business's doors open. I hope everyone who considers going to Tamara at "All U Knead" (which by the way, offers no massage service, or any type of service that would explain the misspelling in the business name) will find another provider and avoid this very mediocre, and very unprofessional establishment.
