Once he finished setting up the video equipment, he went to the site to start capturing the details--shots of my dress, my beautiful high heels, and jewelry. He was so detailed, trying to get different angles of the shots, which I really liked. I spent a lot of money on my dress and accessories, and I definitely wanted to capture them in my book. The ceremony was outside under the stage, and he guided us to the back area, which had more greenery, for our family and wedding party portraits. He was so funny and creative--everyone enjoyed his sense of humor. I believe he has a gift for making people feel comfortable and de-stressed. He even made my 85-year-old grandmother smile, which I hadn't seen in a long, long time. During the ceremony, he captured so many different shots, from wide angles to close-ups. In my career, I have worked with numerous photography studios, and I can honestly say this has been the most enjoyable, best experience I've had, which is saying something considering that I do not like having my picture taken and I only do it because of professional necessity. From scheduling and logistics to the in-studio experience and final deliverables, everything was impeccable. Mitchell (the owner and main photographer) is very attentive to detail, and he puts a lot of focus on ensuring that everything is simply perfect, all while somehow managing to make the customer feel at ease and comfortable with the whole process. I punctually arrived at the appointment time, and everything was ready for me (including a nice welcome sign personalized with my name on it). He was very efficient and respectful of my time, and while I had almost no idle time, I also did not feel rushed at any point. He also has very modern, state-of-the-art equipment that I was surprised to find at a small studio, so I didn't feel like any tools were missing, Similarly, there is a stocked touch up room that was a life saver since I was traveling from my office and did not have time to properly prepare for a photo session. The location was convenient and easy to find, with plenty of available parking nearby. Last but not least, the pricing of the services was very fair, particularly considering the quality of the deliverables and an experience that was flawless. I have paid considerably higher prices for photography services in the past, only to receive deliverables that were unremarkable while left feeling dread for the next time I needed pictures. I…read morewrote them a private message to let them know that joking about such things negatively impacts families who have suffered infertility, miscarriages, and children who have passed away. Instead of engaging with that message, which was very much a compassionate "calling in", the couple blocked me immediately. Do not work with this "business" if your family has experienced familial grief. They do not harbor the compassion, nor the professional capacity, to be sensitive to these things. I'm so glad they're not photographing my wedding. I encourage these photographers to consider their fragility and the gift it is to be called in. By refusing conversation, they've earned being called out. This is not a couple who deserve to photograph a special moment.
