THREE YEAR!!!!! THIS IS THE POOREST QUALITY SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED ON ANY APP EVER!!!!!! I WAS JUST TRYING TO WRITE A BOOK FOR MY DAUGHTER. I COULDN'T BE MORE ANGRY RIGHT NOW. After reporting my so-called illustrator(who was supposed to be illustrating a book I my daughter THREE years ago) at least three times I have received nothing! no compensation. no book. This woman (ANOSHA CHAAND) took my money and said she finished the order and I NEVER received anything. I got back in contact with why I hadn't received any pages and she told me that she will have to charge me an because that book is "really in demand now ". So again she decided to mark the book as complete without sending me anything and take my money like I said I reported her three times and nothing has happened and my money is stolen and I'm so angry right now. I will absolutely never use this trash company again. And if you do, please don't use the children's book illustrator ANOCHA CHAAND read more

Extremely Disappointed - Feels Like a Scam I hired a seller named Emily on Fiverr for a marketing gig to promote my book. She claimed to have over 200k in her audience reach via social media. However, once I received the finished file, I immediately noticed that her "audience" was completely made up of bots. There was zero real engagement or value, and the work was not as promised. I asked for a cancellation right away. She refused. I asked again--no response. When I called her unprofessional (which she was), she accused me of calling her names and again denied the cancellation. Since then, she hasn't responded at all. I also reached out to Fiverr customer service and spoke with Megha and Alaya. Unfortunately, they were no help either. They barely replied, then completely stopped responding. According to Fiverr's terms and conditions, I am eligible for a credit, yet Emily claimed I wasn't--which is false. Her behavior has been dishonest and misleading. At this point, I'm planning to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office so they can investigate possible fraud happening through this platform. This whole experience has been beyond frustrating. Fiverr seems to protect scammers and does little to support honest buyers. If you're considering using Fiverr for book marketing--don't. Save your money and go with a reputable company instead. I wouldn't recommend this platform to anyone read more

Ah everything are fake. They scam my money. Thanks to SayTix.com they help to recover me.

I signed up as a client hoping to find a 3D printer freelancer to do a job. Within minutes my account was disabled for violation of their policies? What? All I did was message people for a quote (It's a plastic part needed for a small device). I signed up again using my Facebook account thinking that they thought my original email signup account was spam. Same thing happened. They send you an email to contact customer service but the only way to contact customer service is to log on which I can't! What an awful company. I don't recommend them at all. I'd give a zero star if Yelp would let me. read more

If you are looking for a freelancer to do a basic job online definitely try Fiverr. Fiverr is an Israel based platform connecting freelancers with clients. You can hire someone to create business cards, logos, retouch photos, fix glitches on websites, create explainer videos and so on. Fiverr is specialized in low cost services. You shouldn't expect to immediately find people who can deal with serious tasks. I'm sure there are many on the platform but, honestly, Fiverr is for people who can't (or don't want to) spend much. If you need a very specific and complicated job to be done, Fiverr is probably not the best place to go with. My advice - try to find a solution on Fiverr, then if you can't - go elsewhere. Chances are you will get what you want 5 times cheaper than you expected. Customers pay Fiverr a 2$ fee per order and sellers pay 20% of their income on the platform. If you are not satisfied with the work done you have an option to accept the delivery. The payment you made will be credited back to your account. I did this only once with a guy who tried to do a job not knowing what he was doing. ATTENTION: you need to reject the delivery within the given timeframe if you are not satisfied, otherwise you automatically accept it. The majority of the orders I placed went just fine. I probably placed at least 30 orders for different services over the recent years. Freelancers can reach different levels on the platform depending on how good their work was, like "Seller level 2", "Seller level 1" etc. The status leads to greater visibility and revenue, so they seem to be really motivated to get things done well and on time to receive positive reviews (yes, there's a review system). PayPal and card payments accepted. Very good mobile app to communicate with freelancers on the go. "Fiverr" because the minimal order you can place is 5$. read more

I was trying to start my freelancer services on Fiverr and was approved and verified by my ID. However the next day I receive a message stating I haven't been approved and wont be allowed to sell services on Fiverr. I contacted customer service and was given a ticket number. They pretty much restated what was on the denial message I receive but did offer an appeal to try and overturn the decision. After days of messaging to receive the appeal process information, I am still being ignored by the service team. They tell me the reason I was declined is for them "to insure the highest quality of services is met"... yet you have hundreds of other sellers ripping off each other with the same services, descriptions and phony photos. Nothing worth the time to utilize if a company makes it difficult to get in contact with... Ticket ID #12945699 read more

I have placed over 600 orders with Fiverr. Last month, I received a custom offer from a seller and attempted to purchase. An internal error in fiverr's system caused me to me charged 13 times for this single transaction. Instead of $111, I was charged almost $1,500. I understand that accidents happen and if Fiverr would just give me my money back, I would remain a happy customer. That is not the case. It's been weeks and they just say they are looking into it or sending it to a different team to review. They have acknowledged that there are 13 transactions Instead of one. They have said the reason was an internal error on their part. I don't know why they won't just refund my money, but I'll never trust them with another order. How can I ever hit that submit payment button knowing they can charge me infinite times, not respond to my messages, close all tickets as resolved, and not refund me? Sellers on fiverr are great. The fiverr company itself can't be trusted. read more

They are all scammer. Promesa you a services and go to a lot of communication that you don't received. I hired a designer to do an original logo and business card design for me. Months later I found my design on Canva when helping a friend with a project. So the crappy designer San was just copying other people's work from Canva and passing it off as an original. Communication with San was also difficult, as he/she didn't understand what bulleted lists were, etc. It took a lot of time and I was disgusted when I found that they had just used a design from Canva which I could have done myself for a fraction of the cost. Terrible wait times to get your job requests approved. If you have been using the Fiverr service regularly for a few years without issue you'd think you'd be able to post a service without having to wait for people in Israel to wake up and go to work. What's the point in trying to hire people internationally in other time zones to get important work done ASAP if everyone at Fiverr editorial is asleep. The seller (Kachkol Asa @developerzubair - https://pro.fiverr.com/freelancers/developerzubair ) quoted me a certain price to build a "4 page" website. He stated he couldn't do it till after Dec 1st (at that time it was almost 4 weeks away.) I reach back out after 9 days after Dec 1st and I tell him "instead of 4 pages, I will only need 1 page". He quotes me "double the amount, for 3 less pages"!!! Then tries to justify it by saying.. "Static vs Dynamic". And that was not even stated where I wanted that or not. He just start spewing stuff that I never told him as justification. Then when I told him to re-read our previous messages, where we agreed up that previous price (minding it was for MORE work... not LESS). He just says take it or leave it. It's a shame that "some people" from other countries, see you're from the US and want to charge you a lot more then anyone else that's not. I'd give these parasites ZERO Stars if I could. People run from this company. Their graphics artists lie, give you a price, them start, then pause your work, promising to complete it. FIVERR, an Israeli corporation is party to the fraud. Amazon.com actually sued them, for targecompany. American people, but they merely said, that they are working to clean up this campany. I requested a refund Feb 5, FIVERR held onto my refund for 4 days, and when I wrote them about their efforts to retain my money, today Feb 9, 2024, then only today, four (4) days later did Fiver begin the process to restore my money to my account, which they claim could take 11 days. This is a scam service. I bought a "gig" on 9/14 and the seller wrote the work order to include endless revisions. He then conned me into paying him before the original work was finished. I paid in good faith the work would be completed. Here we are 6 weeks later and the work is not done. I have to follow up with him constantly to do anything, it's awful. I reached out to Fiverr for help and they have absolutely no customer service and they make it near impossible to get ahold of anyone. Instead of support they'll send you stupid articles to read. I have filed a claim with the BBB and I think for good measure I'll report them to the Governor's office in my state. This website is full of scammers. 0/10 do not recommend. read more

I do not recommend depending on this service for anything professional...Using them for anything relating to jobs/résumés/cover letters, etc., especially if you have a timeline, is career suicide. These writers could be good, but they also could be random, uneducated and irresponsible. Further, they may not even understand your culture. One responder that I, unfortunately, trusted to do the work, as a young woman from Bangladesh who just didn't understand what a senior management résumé and cover letter should look like and wanted to [over]simplify it all... Another writer just flaked on me- she said she could keep the deadline and then she just DIDN'T- so there went that job for me... Maybe just trust yourself and write your own cover letters/résumés, because depending on someone else makes you incredibly vulnerable, which I don't like. Don't take the chance! Do it yourself! read more

Many highly rated and high-level sellers have purchased up to 75% of their ratings/reviews plus they just upload whatever the hell they copy from google searches and add to their own portfolio, and buy more fake 5-star reviews with the money they get from super profitable gigs that take no time to complete. I have paid upward of $100 for simple minimalist logo concepts that contained zero creativity or even vaguely resemble something done by a professional designer. My advice is to steer clear of this site, or pay for your services via Paypal where you're protected if things start to go south. read more

I guess ymmv as far as providers. This review chastises Fiverr for saying one thing and doing another. I get promised "a few days" to review translation work done, in an email. It's delivered in a format i can't open and also has a fiverr training video blocking me from opening it, if i could have. So i requested from fiverr and the provider a new format. I got a new document delivered and an email saying I had a few days to review it. an email from fiverr. Hours later I got an email saying that I only had 24 hours to review it. From fiverr. That email was at 6:20 PM the next day at 1209 PM they close the deal they did not even wait to 24 hours. I was planning to review the document in the afternoon and didn't get a chance because they just paid the provider and I haven't seen the work yet. It's German so I cannot check it myself. I needed the time. Points off. read more

Do not use these people they are crooks. The way they work is simple. They hire people from India or any other side of the world and these people without having any actual skills steal photos online from other designers and place them as their "Portfolio" when you actually hire them for whatever project you have you are actually securing payment to them and once you realize they don't know crap of anything you requested is already too late and you have to end up accepting whatever they send you. I have had an account for years. It's very hard to communicate with sellers especially when they don't speak English well and I've had work done but usually not exactly what I wanted. Recently, I did a lot of work and they had such scammers that I paid a cumulative $760 which they didn't refund the credit card they gave me a credit. Now they sent an email saying they terminated my account without any reason, saying they monitor my account for a while, and I violated policy. The only thing I ever did was before making payments. I would contact the seller because I've had so many of them not be able to understand what I want to be done and I ask a question and they reply. Then I asked them to send me their pay link so I can pay them to do the work. That's the only thing I can see I have ask them for a pay link.. most recently I wanted to get a Shopify store and get the payment installments through shop. So that's what I was trying to clarify I want to get the payments I just don't want a Shopify account without that. So what did I do wrong I'm 62 I don't know that much about the Fiverr business. I've not had a whole lot of success with it but I keep trying it. So now they're holding up $760 of my money. Terminated the account so I can't even communicate with them. And according to what I've searched, they can hold the money up for 90 days and I don't even know if they refund it??? This is just like they've stolen this money from me. And they said they don't have to give me a reason just that they've monitored me and I violated their policy. I've done nothing wrong. I've paid them good money and now I'm out all this money. Please if anybody can advise me what to do. I've sent them an email at support@fiverr.com and I just don't know what to do. They need to just refund that back to my credit card and be done with it and I am sad to say I don't recommend fiverr except for possibly having business cards, postcards or flyers or things like that designed. I've done some voice overs, which were OK but any of this other stuff that I don't understand website design, SCO, and all this stuff is very confusing to me, but I wouldn't use it unless you know exactly what it is you're paying for. read more

horrible. genuinely have never had a worse experience in my life. I hired someone to help me create a website and that person ended up sexually harassing me and making comments on my looks and body, and stalking me on my social media. They also did not do what i requested. It was a really rough experience and when I got the site I had to spend four hours editing it all over again. I complained to Fiver about the employee's actions and they did nothing. They would not give me my money back without also taking away the website even though I re-did it, and their employee harassed me with horrible behavior-- they did not make an exception or compromise. They gave me some credits back that would not amount to anything whatsoever. I must have emailed with them for a week and they kept sending me the same message over and over. They did not offer a phone number so there was no way to further my inquiry. I hired someone to re-design my 2 shopify stores. He was going to just give me a premium theme. That sounded sketchy, so I insisted on buying a new one for each. He was fine with that and charged me $250 per store, so $500. Then he redesigned the stores, and they looked fine. Paid him just under $1000. Fast forward a year, I get busted for using an unregistered theme. I was forced to delete it, which drove the websites, so I lost both my stores too. I'm literally left with nothing. Fiverr first told me they couldn't do anything because it was outside of the 14 day grace period. I wrote back saying that this has nothing to do with being unhappy with the work, this seller destroyed both my stores... literally. They wrote back saying that they reviewed it, and a refund couldn't be made because of the 14 days. But they feel bad, so they are giving me a $750 credit. And according to other posts here, my account will likely be shut down. I couldn't trust using Fiverr again, even with $750 off. I literally have to rebuild both my stores while he blatantly stole my money, and left me with an illegal website. They don't care at all to stand by their product. I was totally scammed. read more

They steal money from people. If seller does not produce, then Fiverr puts your money in a Fiverr account. That's stolen money. If you don't make another purchase on Fiverr, then your money is permanently lost. They need to refund our money to our bank. I don't recommend Fiverr for this. I recently registered there and made three purchases. The first seller did good, but the last two did not produce. One of them failed to communicate with me, never gave an update, and never delivered the purchased item (someone from Nigeria). The last person lied about delivery time. I purchased a package from content creator, "youtubecreator1" (Shezhad) back on Jun 1, 2021. This Fiverr content creator is based out of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. It took 4-5 times before him and I finally got on same page of understanding what I wanted exactly on my video streaming put on Youtube. It took him up to almost a month before he posted my video streaming after I paid him $44.20 when he said earlier will take few days to publish my video streaming. His profile states he's fluent in English but for some reason, we are still having problem communicating English as I have been in the states over 50 years and speak fluent English myself with a Masters degree. After finally he posted it, there were comments that I wanted to clean up on there and I asked Shezhad about getting his assistance. Sometime during that time we were not on same page and we both were getting frustrated with each other. He closed me out from communicating with him late Jul 2021 then I went back to Fiverr CS numerous times letting them know we are not understanding each other's request. Then finally Shezhad communicated with me but then when he thought is better since we're not understanding each other that I can manage my own video streaming there so we tried that and now I can't even pull it up directly from Youtube nor can my friends except for Shezhad having to manage it himself for me. I was so furious as I couldn't pull it up directly anymore from there and now he can only pull it up or send me a link of his which at times I lose things to get that and sometimes will lose where I save his link to send me. I told Fiverr CS about this that I"m not happy how he handled this the whole time working together on this. I told them I will file complaint and or reviews on both Fiverr and Youtube as Shezhad says it's Youtube's Algorithm that is the issue why I couldn't pull up my own video streaming now. I don't believe that because I paid Shezhad for him to take care of my video streaming for me and he can't even fix that for me so I can still pull my own video streaming directly from Youtube? Really? I think this is the poorest service I ever got from using Fiverr website. Now Fiverr is trying to make up for it by giving me specials for next purchase which I wasn't planning on doing as this content creator was suppose to be fixing this the whole time and now he can't help me. read more

I am an author and contracted a children's book illustrator to illustrate a 16 page book. I wanted to upload it to Kindle Direct Publishing. I was told my book had to be at least 24 pages which is fine. I asked the illustrator from Fiverr if he could add 8 blank pages in the back for drawing and he agreed. There were some revisions that had to be done, however he did not complete the job. He sent me 16 separate files out of order. I sent it back to him requesting one complete file including the blank pages he agreed to and I did not get that. Fiverr marked the job as completed after I requested revisions before the deadline which was March 11, 2022. The seller delivered the job early and then Fiverr told me I waited too long to request revisions. I paid the seller over $400 dollars for 16 separate files I cannot use? Now this must be resolved through the Better Business Bureau. This is the worst experience I have had as an author and I am terribly disappointed at this company. What an absolute joke. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Paid a graphic "artist" to design a logo around some images I supplied. What I received looked like a 10 year old designed it. I received 3 logos and accepted 2 of them I had paid for 5 revisions and requested one be revised. That never happened and the "artist" ghosted me for a few days until the order auto closed on me. After that, there was still no response from the "artist" so I contacted Fiverr to step in. They were very quick to respond to me but after 2 weeks, failed to do anything at all to make the situation right and just fed me platitude after platitude while basically telling me to get stuffed. Their review process is also a joke as you can only leave a review for a certain SHORT amount of time after an order closes. Due to my having to get Fiverr involved (and At their request), I did not leave a review for the seller and that window has also passed so literally nothing will be done and no review can now be left to warn others of the shenanigans that went on.
