I frequent this particular car wash mainly because my dealership gives me free car wash vouchers. The voucher is for a basic wash but I pay the additional charge to get the Platinum Wash which comes with RainX and another kind of wax that leaves my vehicle looking extra shiny. With my voucher, it's a good price; otherwise it's pretty expensive to get a wash here. However, I can confirm that this is a genuine hand car wash with men in waterproof jumpsuits and brushes. The car comes out clean and you get an opportunity to give them a second chance at getting any missed spots before you drive off. Please note how pristine your vehicle ends up looking depends on how persistent that you want to be during this latter step in the process! read more

It's like breath of fresh air to finally find a good quality car wash. This place is 15 mins from my job, I was able to get a "executive" wash done with like 45minutes to an hour. It's a bit pricey, $83.63 but totally worth it. They did a fabulous job. They really paid attention to the details. read more

Up-sell Central. 5 months ago I brought in my car. They pushed me for an expensive "deep clean". Was going to be a three hour job... turns out it was ready in 30 min. :( didn't notice any "deep clean" at all. Didn't fill the neg review until today. Car parked under tree. Got sap on it. Went for wash. Dude says needs 3 hours to leave all day $250 to get off. I go to auto part store ask the guy. Turtle was tar and remover gets the job done. "Up-Sell Central" read more

Five Towns Hand Car Wash - Cars is getting dried off - Car Wash Near Me - Lawrence, New York

First time I've been asked to pay extra to clean the floor mats. Ive paid for full service, yet the car was completely dirty inside. I've asked the manager to do better on interior he said if I'll pay for $100 cleaning he will clean it. Terrible service at high price. Stay away from this place! read more

Decided to get my car wash and Five Towns Hand Car wash was the closet location for a car wash. It is literally the name "hand wash" they hand wash your car as soon as it enters the belt. There are two employees soaping and sponging the car down inside. Based on your selections they will soak the mats, vacuumed inside and the trunk of your car. It was great service for $32. Will definitely recommend it. read more

I came in for a quick cleaning after a camping trip made my car pretty sandy. They helped get a lot of that grime, as well as garbage between the seats out. They also helped scrub out some of the stains from my seats. Everyone working there was very polite and friendly. read more

I paid $29 for the super wash. The sign says it includes tire shine etc however none of that was done. It was a basic exterior wash with nothing more. If I only wanted the exterior was I would have opted for the $22 package. The staff however was very courteous so I have no complaints there. I just don't think I would visit this place again. read more

a friend of mine went to get a basic car wash and when we got in the car we realized the right side rear mirror was missing. my friend went inside to let someone know & one of the guys drying the cars was so defensive & arguing that I knew it was missing because it happened when I closed the door! How does that even make sense?! Another guy came out and said "that's how it happened, when she closed the door, so it's not our fault bro." So unprofessional & rude! read more

A true hand wash. Attention to detail. Courteous service. Answered my questions. Reasonable prices.

i had a horrible experience. paid for a super wash , and the carpets were not even vacuumed and when i asked if the carpets are included he said no. spoke to a supervisor and he said he didn't need customers like me. $40 later and my car is still dirty. please go support a business that appreciates customers like you and I read more

I was so impressed with their service and professionalism. My car finally looking like a car, soooo clean, inside and outside! I will be going back soon so that they can work on the scratches that is on the outside. The owner came out and added his finishing touch - that told me all I needed to know. I have been telling all my friends to go there. They are very good at what they do....hand wash at its best! I can now maintain the look and clean of my vehicle. Thank you guys very much and I will be coming back soon. Kamesha read more

paid $45 car was still dirty. broke my side mirror and windshield wiper. was completely ignored and kicked out. manager insisted it was already damaged before I came in. refused to take responsibility and asked to see my receipt and ran away with it. would have called police if I wasn't in a rush that day. read more

The car wash is great and the staffs do an excellent job. Although they a little high and even just a regular outside wash of your car would cost you over $25 including taxes. Was very disappointed today though - on the receipt it says $33.08 but when i got to the cashier she said $34 and some change and I asked why the different in price and she said the cost of using my bank card. This is very ridiculous. i know some businesses does this, as in adding a cost for using your card but then again me paying taxes on this transaction already covers this. a business shouldn't be charging for customer using their card. very disappointing!!! i opted to paying with cash.. i mean its really not about the money but i all about integrity.... gosh ------ thanks John for the quick reply and detailed explanation. i was using a debit card though... not a credit card. does this 3% still apply??? read more

New owners took over and of course the prices are high and the services suck. . For $55 they should clean the car and not leave anything in the door handle and streaks on the dashboard 16 minute is all they give you. They will charge you $10 extra for vacuuming, so so you get a 30 seconds otherwise read more

Five Towns Hand Car Wash - .30 seconds of wash then $$$ - Car Wash Near Me - Lawrence, New York

My 2015 rogue had a water leak that the nissan dealership took car of. They could take care of the water in the car under carpet on right side, they reccomend I take it to a car wash to have them care of it. I told the guy exactly what was wrong and he said ok, gave me price and said pick it up the next day. When I got my vehicle back the carpet was wet and soapy. The lady at the counter told me to run my vehicle fo4 about 2 hours with the heat on high towards foot. I am not an arguementative person so was I took vehicle and did what she reccomended. It did not work. read more

When I was on the phone they told me the lot closes at 5:55 even though Apple Maps was telling me 7pm. I told them the lady on the phone said I could get there before 5:55 and I'd be good but they told me that a car just came in and they're not doing any more for the day. I have been driving a Mercedes Benz since 1998. I am currently driving a 2020 GLE. I am super particular about my car, who touches it, where and how I park, who drives, etc. As a result, I usually wash my vehicle myself, as I consider it a type of exercise. However, whenever I've had my vehicles washed, it has been at this place. They are professional, courteous, respectful, and humble. During this COVID-19 experience, I went to get my car wash, Five Town Hand Car Wash has appropriately adjusted their practices to ensure Social Distancing; to wit, the safety of their staff and customers. As usual, my vehicle was pristine. As I drove away, I routinely look for water to shoot out from the side view mirrors, causing water stains on my window. This has NEVER happened. Five Tow Hand Car Wash - I am driving Mercedes #8 and when I purchase #9, guess who will be taking care of it? YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!!! I'll see you in about three weeks for my next Platinum Wash! read more

just be very careful with leaving things in your car. my Fendi glasses was in the middle of my car n they was atolwn

Horrible service owner son had an attitude paid for the more expensive clean and they did not clean. Ended up cleaning my own car in front of them. Don't waste your money having to be on top of them. Go somewhere where they just clean your car and you leave happy the service was done. If I can give 0 or negative stars I would.. don't pay till the job is done and it's the way you paid for it to be . There's a mother car wash place in Hewlett 5 min away try that place! read more

The car wash itself was okay, although there were some areas of the vehicle that were still dusty and had not been touched or wiped down. My rating is based on the customer service experience. The owner of this establishment is rude, unprofessional, and has absolutely no customer service skills!! My mother's handicapped plaque was missing from her car after the car wash so I called to inquire whether it was found. The owner cursed me out over the phone blaming me for leaving it in the vehicle!! He ended the call by telling me he was "trying to get sh*t done" and I needed to call back at 6pm. Never in my life have I had a more disgusted with a customer service experience! Based on that alone, I will never return and would not recommend this place to any others. read more

Best around here that I have found. Sometimes off with estimated wait times for extra services such as per hair removal. I take two cars here regularly they do a decent job on the cheaper wash packages. I have had my truck detailed here. Excellent job but it is not something you want to wait on Bc it takes time. I have a friend pick me up and they will call when ready. read more

I will definitely say I been trying to find a stable car wash to go to I drove by this one and decided to give it a try with a little fear due to the bad reviews but my overall experience was not bad I like That they do not use a brush on the car only for the rims the guys that are handling the soap with the gloves on were excellent The only thing that brought this review to be kind of low was The ones that dry the car Was horrible they seem quite lazy my car has watermarks drips on doors and trunk If that can get fixed I will definitely rate this place a five star Otherwise I do recommend read more

I went there for a detailing job due to some water that was spilled on the carpet. The stain was dark because of the water and dirt combined when I stepped on it while driving. The Boss or owner was telling me that it was oil and grease, which I told him that it was not, because I took the car to a mechanic already to check it. He became very defensive and rude towards me, and speaking to me in a condescending way as if I did not know what I was talking about. Had I accepted that it was grease and oil, they would have charged me a different price to do the job for something that was not. read more

I'm rarely in this town was unfamiliar with the area. But I arrived early for a meeting nearby and had spare time. Being desperate to get all the pollen off my Camaro I gave this place a try. So glad I did. The results were far better than those typical 2 minute conveyor machine washes. The guys really hustled and seemed really intent on doing a thorough job. Overall, it's place that really shines! read more

I wish I had read the reviews before I decided to Plop down $20.25 for a basic wash and Vac. When you think "hand Car wash" you are thinking thorough cleaning with attention to details. While the staff is very friendly and polite. Their attention to detail is severely lacking. With the amount of guys they have employed you would think that wouldn't have to point out that the edges of the wheel wells have not been wiped or washed for that matter. I also had to point out that an area of my hatch had been left dirty after supposedly being hand washed. The owner of the place had to come over and tell them to wipe the roof down.instead of having 5-6 guys converge on your car to towel it off the should have those-guys at the washing stage to do a better job of washing, not drying a crappy wash job. I have been to automated washes that do a much better job than this "hand washed" place for a lot less money. Sorry guys but I will not be back Chapuseros. read more

Paid $30 for Platinum package which was supposed to include interior vacuum, but the owner will tell you its for very basic light vacuuming. Unacceptable excuse, I can still SEE the dirt MOVE around the car. If it was vacuumed it would be gone. Yes theres a difference between build up and light debris. It's obvious it was light debris as I picked up the hair and showed the owner it was not stuck to the rug, a simple vacuum could have picked it up. I left, but drove back to question my receipt, I was still unhappy questioning what I paid for and the owner had the team re-vacuum the car. Appreciated, but I was basically told oh well the first time I spoke to the owner because I didn't want to pay $20 dollars more for a package that includes vacuum & thats not cool. If anything below platinum does not include REAL vacuuming (removing the dirt instead of moving it around) stop letting your customers believe so and charge for vacuuming separate so customers see where their money is going. I'm not the only person unhappy with the interior job. Please fix this issue for future business. I won't be back, but other people shouldn't be paying money to leave unhappy. read more

My neighbor recommended them because I have a brand new car. Always request the platinum wash because the car gets the best treatment.
