We had a steep driveway and couldn't back the truck down it to load it, so all the furniture and boxes had to be taken up a set of stairs and loaded. On the unload, we were moving into a three story town home, again everything practically had to be taken up at least one if not two flights of stairs. In addition, we had a refrigerator exchange that we needed to do which required an additional trip to another home, where once again they had a long steep access and haul in and back. No complaints whatsoever, they just got it done! They were steady, professional and a team thanks to John's sense of humor and excellent communication skills. Also, John even helped me hook up the ice maker. These guys are great!

This year was horrible! Most of the time, the owner guy stacked boxes in the truck, while other 2 guys brought items to him. One of the workers was very good, kept a good pace and good attitude. The other tall guy has a bad attitude and poor helper! The 2 helpers were wrapping a fragile antique cabinet. When I walked into room, I said in a very normal tone, "be sure to wrap well, it's an antique and be sure to protect the front glass". The tall guy, went & told his boss I yelled at him?? There is no way I yelled at him! When I went outside to bring an item to owner in truck, he started yelling at me, saying "his helpers said I yelled at them, feel I'm rushing them. Also yrs ago I gave them the worst review they've ever received and doesn't understand why I keep hiring them to help me move", etc. Also mentioned he was in a bad mood and had yelled at his 2 workers prior to arriving at my apt". This must have set the negative mood for the day. I let him know, not rushing them and didn't yell at them!! (Must have been the tall guy) Next day, several of my neighbors at the apt area said how taken back they were that he was yelling at me! They know I'm always nice, don't get angry and the movers not professional behavior, etc. The tall guy after telling his boss I yelled at him, etc must have made him feel he could now sluff, carrying one light item or small to truck slowly when could have should have carried more at one time like the other helper. The nice guy was doing most of the work! The tall guy would give me a smirky look like there's nothing you can do about it. I'd often see the tall guy just standing around, etc. If I was coming into my apt same time he was, he'd close the door on me, then give me a smirk look. I had asked owner to be sure items packed in truck so don't rub against anything to get damaged during the move. The leg of my recliner was deeply gouged and 2 antique chairs scratched. The tall guy threw a garden art of dragon flies that light up at night on the ground and now does not work. At my new house, I nicely asked them to keep my items on the left side of garage separate from my landlords items on the right. The tall guy sometimes ignored this. When done unloading, last item was my bike to go into garage. He picked it up and TOSSED it into the landlords side of garage. It was going to tip over so he gave it a shove into my landlords daughters bike. His coworker stood there and watched him. When done, the owner guy told me I owed $835 as took 5 hours to move me. This co has moved me about 6 times. Never paid over $600. The tall guy was big cause I had to pay more. First time they moved me, I gave a good review, but mentioned the truck driver drove 10 miles under speed limit no matter what the speed limit was. I hired them again because they were better than the guys hired after first hiring them. They did good the next few times. It's just his helper, the tall guy. After moving me, I later called his wife who schedules appts as was in question why have to pay mileage from their start location to my apt. She let me know by law they have to charge for travel to site and was included in an email sent to me. I don't recall seeing that. I let her know what happened while moving my items and she told me they are known to be a premium or exclusive moving co and in the future I should hire someone else. Was rude and very non professional! I would not recommend this co to help move your items. They are young with immature attitudes, unprofessional, damaged 3 of my items and not a premium moving co!!

I texted her a list of what I thought I had and also told her that I had A LOT of outdoor planted pots and outdoor furniture. She said although they don't like moving that kind of stuff, they will do it. Kathryn also made a recommendation to save me some money, which I appreciated. HOWEVER, on the day of my move, things fell apart FAST. Brent, Kathryn's Husband showed up and told me it was against OSHA rules to move my outdoor plants. Later, Kathryn told me that Brent just didn't want to move my plants. I ended up having to rent a UHAUL to move my plants which cost me an additional $220 on top of my $2000 moving bill!!! I have never had a moving bill so high in my life and I have moved A LOT! They were supposed to arrive at 10am but didn't get to my apartment until 12:45pm. Overtime fees start at 7pm. I thought their prices were quite high ($171.35 per hour) but I couldn't be picky at that point. Now looking back, it would have been cheaper to rent my apartment for another month. There were 3 guys working on moving, but the owner (Brent) was on his phone most of the time so I would count him as 1/2 a person. I had my boxes marked for the rooms they were to go into. MOST of the boxes DID NOT make it into ANY of the rooms they were supposed to go in. It's been two weeks and I still can't find much of my stuff. I have a small Rubbermaid shed for the backyard that the guys put in my backyard on a slope with a heavy metal shelving unit in it. They told me they would put it back together, but since it was completely dark out by the time they were unloading, it didn't get done. I have no idea who thought it was a good idea to put an unstable shed in the middle of a yard on a slope. The following day I woke up and it had been blown over and it knocked over our wooden fence. I texted Kathryn a picture and spoke with her about several of the issues. She said she and Brent couldn't really tell that there was any damage to the fence but it wasn't really their issue anyway. I told her that one of the movers put my son's bunkbed together wrong and my son cut his knee requiring stitches. I also told her that almost none of my boxes got put where they were supposed to (which is the whole reason you hire movers). Kathryn said that there was nothing compensable about my claims, it was really just feedback for the guys to do better next time. She said she could reimburse me half of the cost of the Uhaul but that was about it. She said I shouldn't have had to rent it, but it saved me some overtime costs. She never sent me any money. I reached out to her a week later and told her I wanted her to reimburse me the full cost of the Uhaul and she said she would only do half because it actually did save me money. I told her to go ahead and send half and we could keep having a conversation. She told me that she would NOT send the money and I could file a claim with ODOT. DO NOT TRUST THESE MOVERS!! I believe they take their time to jack up the prices. I have read other reviews on here that say that the owners will gaslight negative reviewers. I have to say one thing positive. Devin, one of the movers was an absolute delight. He was so very kind and I don't want this to look bad for him.

We used their service on 10/13. The movers were done unloading the trucks in less than two hours. I…read morethought I remembered something about a minimum time, so my husband and I were discussing things they could help with (rearranging furniture, taking plastic off of furniture) when the lead mover approached and said they were done, holding out a paper for us to sign. I asked him, you don't have a minimum time? He said no they do not. He said someone from accounting would call us later that day to pay the final total. We never received a call. My card on file was charged and they sent me a bill over email which has a charge that specifically looks like it brings the total to 3 hours work ("minimum charge adjustment"). I called and left a message asking about it, no one ever called me back. I called again on 11/4 and spoke to someone. They opened up a claim and I was sent an automated email asking for more details, which I gave. It is now 11/14 and I have heard nothing. The movers that helped us on 10/13 were incredibly nice and efficient. The confusion with whether there is a minimum time (I still don't know for sure, since no one has gotten back to me) with the extra charge is the reason for this review. If there is a minimum, we had more work that could have been done. It's been more than a month and this is ridiculous. I am out more than $150 with no explanation.
