I paid half upfront with the balance paid after completion. Unfortunately, within 3-4 months the same leak returned. Despite repeated calls, texts, and emails, the company did not properly address the issue. Stanley himself never inspected the roof as he said he would, and his workers did not resolve the problem. I ultimately had to hire another contractor to fully redo the roof. I reported the matter to the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, where he initially agreed to refund me but never followed through. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and his BBB accreditation was revoked after he did not cooperate with them. In 2025, I won a Small Claims Court judgment against SRT Roofing. To date, the judgment remains unpaid, with only a partial payment ever made despite the court's decision. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before hiring this company. What I expected to be a straightforward repair turned into unnecessary stress, additional expenses, and unresolved issues after completion. See pictures.

I did mention I wanted it replaced, but they said the best thing to do was to use white silicone coating and it will stop anything. So, I said ok. They got the job done in June of 2020. It looked good, not what I was looking for, but I trusted them and I thought it was fine. They also gave me a 5 year warranty. Fast forward to Autumn of 2024, and it started leaking again. I called and said I want to use the warranty. Communication was not as great. They constantly told me they are going to troubleshoot it and get to the bottom of it. It seemed like they were surprised that the silicone didn't stop it. They did visit, but kept on saying it doesn't look like their work, but they will get a guy who can give a masterclass on finding leaks. They never returned and the warranty had expired as time slipped by. I ended up going with their competitors. The competition replaced the whole roof, found the leak in the process, and used ingenuity to prevent it from ever leaking again. DeMuro was a huge disappointment and I regret spending $4,750 with them. They did replace my gutters and I was happy about that, but they subbed that out, so not really their work.

I contacted the company owner, Segundo, and received a call back the same day to schedule a site visit and preliminary assessment of the project. Segundo spent about an hour on the property and listened to what I wanted to do. He gave me several pricing options low, moderate, and higher-end that varied based on the quality of materials and other considerations. One thing that stood out about Segundo is his honesty about what needs to be addressed in project vs those items that were not a priority. Frank (the owner, I think) was nice and responsive, and sent a team to fix it for a fee. So far so good. After that, the leak got slightly better never stopped, and soon got bad again. Multiple calls, visits, usually by John, multiple $ spent, for well over a year, but the leak persisted, and I was losing my mind. So, finally I gave up on Roman and hired Abbasi Roofing - one visit, 3 guys, done. It turns out, the the outside part of the chimney stack, that Roman supposedly fixed, had large cracks between bricks that weren't filled with the sealant and totally exposed. And since this was on the side of the chimney stack, facing away from my house, it was the hardest to get to, wasn't visible from the ground, and John who came alone would not be able to reach there without the help of another person. I must say that Roman Roofing is less expensive than Abbasi, but that does not do me any good if they keep coming back, keep charging money, and the problem still persists. Based on that painful experience, I would not recommend.
